Nim purred loudly as he nuzzled Dakota back, licking his cheek before starting to rub up against him.

Dakota purred as he moved to the side of Nim, still nuzzling his fur. His dark orange and black tail playfully flicked the other’s snout.

Dakota decided to stay a tiger as he laid down next to his new mate, gently washing his mate’s shoulder and neck as he relaxed. He now felt the urge to protect and care for Nim as much as possible.

Nim chuckled gently. "I bet you'll be that possessive mate. In a good way though." Dakota being possessive would be super attractive though honestly. Not that Nim would ever try to go for anyone else now though.

Dakota smiled a little, “not as amazing as you, my love.” He said softly. He then rolled onto his back and yawned lazily.

Nim purred happily, nipping playfully at Dakota's paws before finally rolling off of him with soft laughter. "It's so different being so playful with you."

Dakota purred, “I know. I’m not normally this relaxed.” He said, still batting at Nim a few times. “I’m not used to seeing you this way either.” He pointed out before nuzzling Nim again, “you’re so cute~”

Nim yelped a little when Dakota was suddenly on top. "Mmm, good words of course. I just don't know if I can handle you pouncing~" Nim enjoyed earlier of course, but he was probably going to feel it soon.

Dakota let out a growl that seemed more like a laugh, “I wasn’t planning on pouncing. After all you don’t seem like the type of person who goes until they can’t walk anymore.” He teased before turning back into an eagle, hopping off of him to settle beside him.

Dakota gently nudged Nim reassuringly as he moved around to be closer to his head, “I know. Like I said, we will go at your pace.” He said simply before settling down again.

Nim cracked another smile. "I hope I'll be able to keep you happy then, hm~?" He wasn't that experienced yet, but he'd surely learn. Aside from that though, just being there for Dakota was his main goal.

Dakota flew above Nim. They soon arrived in a little grove. Dakota soared down towards where her nest was hidden in some willow trees and landed on the ground. Uma told them they could enter.
