Okay, so here's a Name Rater. These were super popular on the old forums, so I wanted to revive it here. The way you do this is you come up with a group of names, list them, and I rate them on a scale of 1-10, 1 being irredeemably horrible and 10 being masterfully amazing. The Rules: 1. Nothing inappropriate. 2. No bullying, flaming, rudeness, or being mean in general. 3. Don't complain if I rate your names harshly, that's how this works. 4. Only 15 names per post, and don't post names again until I rate your first one. 5. Have fun!  Warrior names, Tribe names, Ancient names, even Rogue names, they're all fine and able to be rated. You can include descriptions of the cat if you want, but you don't have to If you get into the Hall of Fame by receiving a 10 you will get a descriptive kit as a prize, it'll be awesome, please don't complain. If you get into the Hall of Humor, you'll get a wacky, goofy kit that I hope will make you laugh as much as the name did for me. Briarberry 4 Darkfall 5 (I've always liked the -fall suffix) Tangleclaw 7 Mottledpelt 5 (It would be lower if the prefix wasn't so good) Blacktail 3 Bearstep 5 Willowface 2 (I have never liked the -face suffix, but I love the Willow prefix) Waspflower 7 (Nice, Wasp is an awesome prefix I like to use at times) Overall, pretty decent. If you changed up the suffixes of most of these, you'd be getting some great scores. My favorite of these is definitely Tangleclaw, it just sounds so cool |

Thanks! I definitely tend to prefer traditional naming conventions so I usually stick to traditional suffixes that can seem boring

I tend to prefer creative conventions, so I usually go for interesting prefixes and suffixes that sound good together. My favorite traditional suffix is definitely -claw. It just goes with so much

Falconsong 7 -song is one of my favorite suffixes Cherrywind - 6 It's okay Raveneye - 8 I love how this one looks and sounds Turtlethroat - 5 the -throat suffix is a no, but the Turtle prefix is a yes Shrewstep - 6 It's okay Deerpelt 5 points up for a good prefix, points off for a common suffix (My mind just gave me whatever and I'm like these are weird lol) (You were pretty close with Raveneye) |

Featherbreeze 5 points on for prettiness, points off for being super common Shadowfall 7 -fall is one of my favorite suffixes Sunfoot - 5 You got a 5 because Sun is a good prefix and -foot is a terrible suffix Softstorm 6 It sounds like a storm of really soft kittens or something Gingerspot 5 I like the Ginger prefix, -spot is an okay suffix Rockshade 7 Something I would use in one of many different names in a name rater Winterbelly 4 So much potential with the Winter prefix, try again with a different suffix and you might have a better score |
