If firestar lived for ten years, and the clans have been around for about fifty, then there shouldn't have been as many leaders as there have been. Even if they only lived like 7, there still wouldn't have been that many!

Agreed Idc what the erins say I will always headcanon the clans have been around longer than that The only reason they couldn't be is that they had bulldozers in the time of the ancients

I just decided that the cats have been there way more than 60 or so years. The Erins have been wrong before. As for the bulldozers, Warriors is a made up fantasy world. Fantasy world, fantasy rules.

True...though if things that we have seen have happened previously... Then that would mean that there may have been leaders who didn't get nine lives (like Nightstar) have had fewer lives (Like Sunstar) who have lost their lives Quickly (like Tigerstar and Broken star)
Also take into account that the 14th code is a warrior doesn't needed to kill to win a battle. Before that code was put in place, cats were expected to fight to the death or at least until the enemy retreated. So leaders losing lives more frequently was likely a thing during the years before the 14 code was made...but even with that I do agree the timeline is pretty off.

Where is he official timeline? And where does it state 50/60 years? 1) Unfortunately, there is no canon/official timeline. Many have been made by fans, but they tend to be inaccurate or riddled with headcanons. 2) I think Kate stated it on BlogClan? Not sure. The timeline would make more sense if DoTC took place in the 1900s. However, presumably fast cars appear several times over the course of the series, among other things. Either way, the timeline is inaccurate.
