Chatting threads are a lot of fun.
Does it seem like the popularity of mate threads has gone down in general in the new website compared to WCF? The place just always seems to be quiet.

Maybe it's due to the difference in demographics. The userbase of this site might be more inclined to realise the weight of requesting a mate, even if it's just for fun. Or they might let it happen naturally rather than opening a thread for people to advertise themselves on (although both ways are equally valid). People might've done it on the old site because it's a thing that everybody did. The power of normality is strong.
