Both leaders are at a loss of what to do regarding the situation, let alone the kits. The deputies, however seem very certain as to what should be done. Stonemask is certain that Brightclaw and the kits should join RainClan, while Miststep is adamant that the kits will remain in WillowClan with their mother. It is somewhat unclear but it is likely Miststep’s choice stems from the possible anger towards RainClan over the misunderstanding that stemmed from Curlypaw’s death, that resulted in his remaining daughter, Snowfang’s demise. Brightclaw herself, seems more embarrassed and ashamed of the pointless arguing and requests time to think before the kits are born. Fogwhisper And Graythroat both agree this should be a decision of StarClan and agree to consult their ancestors. With Dustkit’s birth, brings conflict among the higher-ups of the two Clans. Arguing that had lead nowhere prior to the birth of Brightclaw’s Kit, continue to go nowhere. Something like this has not happened, since the two Clans were formed... To avoid anymore tension, Brightclaw decides to move to RainClan with her son. Willowstar simply allows this, too tired of her own confusion and wishing to avoid a fruitless dispute that could lead to battle.
