Welcome to Our Clan
Fogclan is a new clan formed out of several different groups of cats, ranging from rouges all the way to former kittypets. The clan was formed with a thin veiled promise to protect the cats within it from the dangers outside of their cave. The clan only has a few rules made up by their leader Fogstar, who is from a former clan that was overthrown by his own deputy. He chose the mountains and the forest below for his cats to hunt on despite the almost constant fog hanging around because it reminds him of his former clan.
Rules 1.) Be Respectful: This should be pretty self explanatory! Be kind to your fellow roleplayers, we all have different styles and thatβs perfectly okay.
2.) Be Active: I understand we all have lives outside the forums! If you are not active for a week with no warning in any role you will be messaged with a warning! Two weeks and I will delete the character. If something comes up, please just message me! Even if itβs something as simple as your mood is in the slumps pretty bad. Just give me a time frame. If your character is a major role in the clan and itβll be weeks I will ask if someone can use your character if need be. You may rejoin once if deleted.
3.) Keep It PG: This is Warriors, after all! You can maybe go PG-13 but please keep gore and all the likes at the minimum!
4.) No kit-stealing or anything: Yep
5.) Be realistic with your characters: I donβt want any non-flawed characters! Or unrealistic pelts please! Keep the eye colors to a semi normal color too. You can have uncommon color if you like(like letβs say, a brown and gray tabby) just donβt do purples, greens, etc!
6.) Gender Ratio: As of late, we've had an influx of She-cats. I don't like that a lot because that kind of...doesn't balance out my clan a lot you know? So for now, we are balancing it out with you must join with at least one tom! We also accept nonbinary cats now! Their symbol is now β¨
7.) Plot changes: As of now, plot changes are on a lockdown. We are only doing a minimum few accepted by the mods. If you made it this far, put your favorite warrior cat in your other. You can do your own smaller ones that affect your cats and you are free to message me your ideas!
8.) A fun rule, the clan is a basic layout: By this I mean, Fogclan is a growing clan with little to no resources right now besides what they found when they got here. Don't go overboard of course, but feel free to roleplay your cats finding clan landmarks, or even maybe when I'm online we can come up with roleplay ideas to create new clan rules!
9.) You can chat but: Make sure it's not all this roleplay is, we are here to roleplay. I'm okay with a couple back and forth but yep ^^
10.) Roleplay example; this is becoming a semi literate roleplay, I don't mind if some days you only do a line or two but I'd like if people added more detail to their post, proper grammar, etc. So please provide around three lines for example. Don't let this scare you off though! I understand we all make mistakes, I'm the queen of them if you read my post haha ^^; so please, just try your best <3

An attractive, athletically built young tom, Hickorypaw shows some similarities to the Somali breed in appearance. He has a coat of thick, ruddy fur, patterned by darker tabby stripes and occasional white highlights, as well as amber eyes. Confident and out-going, Hickorypaw is a bold young cat, although he often crosses the line into cocky and reckless. He is eager to learn and to show off, although he does not always act like the most dedicated apprentice, more keen on blazing his own trail than following orders. This arrogant streak causes him to butt heads with authority figures at times as well as come across quite rude or self centered-however, the tom has a big heart and cares for his clan deeply, wanting nothing more than to do his part for it. Hickorypaw is shaping into a talented fighter, although his hunting skills lack severely as he doesn't possess the patience for it. | Hickorypaw traveled to Fogclan while he was still fairly young along with his mother, who did not survive the journey and whose loss he still mourns greatly. | Foggy! A rather intimidating sight, Hawkswoop is larger and more muscular than one would expect from a female. She has a shaggy coat of dark brown tabby fur. Her eyes are yellow, although her right eye is missing and she has a large, ugly scar over the hole where it used to be. Hawkswoop lost the eye to a hawk that tried to snatch her while she was still a kit. Despite her appearance, Hawkswoop is a relatively approachable cat, if not a bit intense. Social awkwardness does not help her in this regard, as communication past polite small talk is not her strong suit. The she-cat known for her rather serious demeanor-teasing and humor are largely lost on Hawkswoop as she doesn't exactly "get" it. This is in part because her nature is very honest and straight forward, the tabby the type to always say exactly what's on her mind and never knowing when she's being too blunt. She's a fiercely protective cat, one ready to jump to her clans defense at the twitch of a whisker and the type to prefer settling her differences with a brawl rather than words. However, she normally knows when to sheathe her claws and has a strong respect for authority and law. She followed Fogstar readily from Cedarclan, disgusted by Ravenstrike's betrayal and destruction of the warrior code.
Squirrelpaw | βοΈ | 8 moons | Bisexual | Cedarclan Apprentice |
On the smaller side for his age, Squirrelpaw's fluffy fur makes up for it a little, making him appear more "average" sized than he actually is. His size and the texture of his coat is where he recieved his name, looking much like a black squirrel. His coat is entirely black in color, as well as his nose, his eyes a bright amber shade. To put Squirrelpaw simply, he is a follower. When he was younger, he was quite shy and nervous with a tendency to seek out bigger and braver friends to hide behind in order to give himself more confidence. The tom has never had the easiest time thinking for himself or making his own decisions and would much rather adopt the ideologies of those around him. This is how he fell into support of Ravenstar, through listening to him and his supporters. However, the more Squirrelpaw has seen happen in Cedarclan the more he has begun to form his own opinions and doubt his support for the leader. However, he has grown much too afraid of Ravenstar and his supporters to do anything to espace the position he's in.
I have more characters in the works and I'll add them as I finish if that's alright!

Emberpaw|β|9 moons|Heterosexual|apprentice|
Emberpaw is a long haired ginger cat with striking yellow eyes. She has a few white spots on her face that almost look like a the glare of the sun through the trees originating from just below her nose. She has a slightly larger build than her fellow apprentices-which she used to like to bring up among other things-but for the most part from a distance it would be hard to tell. Emberpaw once had quite a wild side, while cautious and careful just enough to keep her from getting killed, she would still sneak out, do hunts even when her mentor told her not to, and explore quite a lot. After the move from CederClan to FogClan, she keeps very close to the camp, only going as far out as she is forced to go. She tends to be quite jumpy to most things and tends to keep her tail tucked well between her legs. She does still enjoy hunting, when out with her fellow apprentices to hunt for the clan she always likes going up the mountain to jump after some birds. Emberpaw keeps why she is now acting this way verbally under wraps but wouldn't be surprised if the other clan members understood why she changed so drastically. | Emberpaw had grown up in CederClan, she had a very peaceful upbringing up until the uprising. She had fought on the side of Fogstar at the time, though against her former mentor-one she considered close like family. After the fight and when Fogstar made the choice to leave, her former mentor urged Emberpaw to join the new clan. Emberpaw only slightly regrets listening to her, feeling she had lost a lot more leaving than she would have staying.

He is a very quick and stealthy cat and is able to slink into tight spaces quite easily because of his size. Icebreeze is a pretty quiet cat, but he is friendly. He greets everyone with a smile and will say a few words if need be. He isn't really one to speak his mind though. He was born inside of a barn, to his mother Thunder. He was the smallest of his siblings, Rock and Clover, but always had the most sense of adventure of the three of them. As he grew older, he decided that his place was not in the barn, so he left them, and ended up happening upon Fogclan. He joined and trained as an apprentice, never looking back to the life he used to live.

Sprucemask has a gray coat except for his face which is brown,looking like a mask.His fur is long and silky and his eyes are green that look nothing like they're supposed to.To go along with his eyes,Sprucemask is not like he's supposed to be.He's crazy and some call him mad.He doesn't follow orders well and has problems respecting his superiors.The only thing keeping his leader from kicking him out of the clan is his fighting skills.He is super foggy unpredictable.So much he surprises himself sometimes.He uses his surrounding more than his own strength,being pretty scrawny,and likes to drop out of things and drop this on others.|Past(Optional)

Dappleleaf is a long-haired tortoiseshell she-cat with a white chest and golden eyes. She has long legs and muscular haunches. Once a timid non-confrontational cat, Dappleleaf has become the polar opposite of her former self since escaping from Cedarclan. She's confident and protective, willing to go to any lengths to protect her loved ones.
|Dappleleaf was born in Cedarclan along with her littermates, Ashpelt and Stormscreech. As a young warrior, she found a mate, a warrior called Fuzzytail, and had her first litter of kits. A few moons after their kits became apprentices, she had a second litter. She did not originally leave with Fogstar and was rescued by the Fogclan patrol. During her escape, she was forced to kill her brother, Stormscreech, to save her daughter. Since then, she's become fiercely protective of her family and clanmates.

Gingerstripe is a ginger tabby with a white muzzle and chest. Like his mother, he has long legs and powerful haunches. He's observant and reserved, though he no longer keeps his opinions to himself as he did in Cedarclan. He will gladly speak up for what he believes in, though he rarely gets heated about things; he usually maintains a level head. |Gingerstripe was born in Cedarclan to Dappleleaf and Fuzzytail. His father was always a supporter of Ravenstrike, much to the ginger tom's displeasure. He did not originally leave with Fogstar, a decision he would come to regret. When Fogstar's patrol came to save cats from the clan, he helped his mother sneak cats out and eventually escaped with them.

Hollycloud is a long-haired black she-cat with golden eyes. She's lithe and slender under her thick fur and has a particularly glossy pelt. Her muzzle and belly are scarred due to injuries caused by her father and uncle during her escape from Cedarclan. She is confident in herself and her own abilities, sometimes to a fault. Some of her clanmates consider her arrogant, though she does her best to acknowledge her limits. Hollycloud has a strong sense of right and wrong, and always voices her opinion.
|She is the kit of Dappleleaf and Fuzzytail. Hollycloud became mates with Tigerstripe not long after she became a warrior and the two stayed together for a long time, until Ravenstrike took over Cedarclan. To get the tom to leave, she broke things off with him. Under Ravenstar's leadership, she often get into fights for speaking out against him. The only reason she was kept around was for her fighting skills. When the patrol from Fogclan arrived to rescue cats, she escaped with her family. Upon arriving in Fogclan, she and Tigerstripe reunited and quickly got back together.

Brambleflower is a tall reddish-brown tabby she-cat with a few ginger streaks that blend in with the brown on her pelt, giving her a slightly dappled look, and green eyes. She is a rather quiet cat, which often leads others to mistake her for a meek and docile character, but this is not the case; Brambleflower is unafraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself and others, and is very opinionated and independent. Family is the most important thing in the world for Brambleflower, and she loves her brother and her kits with all her heart. She is still struggling to come to terms with the deaths of Finchpaw and Sparrowpaw but she's determined to put on a brave face for her remaining kits. | Brambleflower remained behind when Fogstar first left CedarClan as she had young kits weakened by sickness, and she was scared of what her mate Reedclaw would do if she left. However, she grew to despise Ravenstar and his lackeys, including Reedclaw eventually, and when she found out that she was expecting his kits for the second time, she became more desperate to leave. She escaped over the river with Kitepaw on the final night before Ashpelt's patrol left, but almost fell from the log she was using to cross; she was saved by the CedarClan warrior Redtuft, who she has not seen since. She gave birth to four healthy kits on the journey back to the Clan; upon returning to FogClan with the patrol she reunited with her brother Tigerstripe.

Kitepaw is a dark grey tabby tom with a brownish tint to his coat and amber eyes. He is fairly small for an apprentice but has a compact, sturdy build. Despite the awful condition of his Clan, he tries his best to remain positive and is a cheerful, bubbly little cat with a friendly disposition. While not the type to bounce off the walls, Kitepaw always seems to be in a relatively good mood despite the hardships he has had to endure. Now that he's back in FogClan and his energy is beginning to return, he has grown to be quite cheeky and quick-witted, but remains polite and dutiful. | Kitepaw was born in CedarClan to Brambleflower and Reedclaw alongside his sisters Finchpaw and Sparrowpaw, and contracted a sickness not long before Fogstar left the Clan. Because he and his sisters were sick, Brambleflower could not travel with them and so remained behind with Kitepaw. He was apprenticed at only 4 moons of age on the orders of Ravenstar, but Finchpaw and Sparrowpaw did not survive their first moon of training. He hated the way things were run in the Clan, but was scared of stepping out of line in case what happened to his sisters also happened to him. His mentor was a bully who often used claws in their training sessions and left Kitepaw with many bruises and scars but Snowclaw quickly put a stop to that, although Kitepaw is not sure how. He accidentally found out about Gingerstripe and Twistedpaw's plan to leave after overhearing their conversation, and asked Dappleleaf about it. Kitepaw escaped with Brambleflower on the final night; after Redtuft saved Brambleflower from falling into the river, Kitepaw swam across instead of using the log. When they reached FogClan, he was made a FogClan apprentice and given Shadefang as a mentor.

Snowclaw is a large, stocky tom with thick, snowy white fur for which he was named; one of his eyes is bright blue and the other is an amber of an equally vivid shade. He is a thoughtful, calculative tom with a keen mind, and serves often as a voice of wisdom to his Clanmates. Snowclaw is a cat you would not want to face on the battle, with his large size and muscular build; he is a very capable fighter even in his old age. While loyal to his Clanmates, his family has always taken precedence over everything else and he is fiercely devoted to his only surviving daughter, Frostflower, even if Frostflower thinks him a coward. | Snowclaw was born and raised in CedarClan, and was a senior warrior when Fogstar left. He was considered for the post of deputy alongside Fogstar by the previous leader, but never harboured a grudge against Fogstar for being named deputy. When he was an older apprentice, he became close with a she-cat named Lilyfur who was a new warrior. Lilyfur was apprehensive about having kits even after they became mates, so it was a lot later on that their kits, Frostflower and Mistkit were born. Mistkit was weak at birth and had many health complications, as Lilyfur was quite old to be having kits, and he died at only two moons of age. Frostflower grew up strong and healthy, and eventually became mates with a cat called Harefoot who was in Ravenstar's circle before Fogstar left the Clan. Frostflower grew to resent Snowclaw for wishing to leave, and called him a coward even though he stayed for her. Frostflower found out she was expecting kits, and although Snowclaw was ready to help his Clanmates escape he knew he could not leave his daughter; however, he had an argument with Frostflower and told her that Ravenstar would kill her kits if she stayed. Frostflower, horrified, fled into the forest, and Snowclaw went to find Ravenstar. After a vicious fight on the riverbank, Snowclaw was killed by Ravenstar using a death blow to the throat.

Ashflight|β| 48 moons|Heterosexaul| Senior Warrior|
Ashflight is average size cat who pack some muscle for a molly. Her pelt color is bluish grey like ash and helps bends in with her surrounding. She has a few faint tabby markings but you can't tell over the multitude of scars her bears from fights. Her eyes are dark green and almost seem to emotionless |Back then she was a adventurous little ball of fuzz. She gained self-esteem and inherited her father's highly idealistic way however she never never liked by her family. As the runt she was outcast after turning 12 moons and into all of fights with rival cats. Her parents chase out their home by force and still bears the scars from it. Ashflight became solitary as leopard until she met a few cats formed her group of sort. This was her first of actually friendship until it was for parting ways. It wanted until she met a Fogstar did her views changed. He open her eyes to a bigger calling in life and Join Fogclan without hesitation. Since then this warrior molly has been determined to defend her clan and clan-mates and uphold the warrior code that all costs with no exception. Ashflight is a warrior who always keeps her words. The definition of a hard-worker who is loyal to the core and is ready to take responsibility for her actions. Poisonface is tall and lanky, but has enough muscle to make her a speedy opponent. Her fur is long but thin, and very soft, with a long fluffy tail. She's a tortoiseshell with the right half of her face being orange tabby and the other being black, in a near perfect split. Her right eye is green and her left eye is a dark blue. She also has a white chest and paws. Poisonface keeps her emotions fairly closed off, except to her closest family. She acts very calm and thoughtful, always watching disagreements instead of joining them. But if she has to give her opinion, she won't hold back on honesty. She's always been kind and gentle, but it's much more obvious when she opens up. | Poisonface grew up with her siblings (OPEN) and their mother Appleleaf with no known father. She's lead Ravenstar to believe that she's a devoted follower, although she definitely hates how he runs the Clan, but she's good at hiding it.

Pearl is a small white she-cat with blue eyes starting to cloud over from age. Her muscles from when she fought as a young cat are gone now, replaced with rickety limbs and raggedy, thick fur. One of her ears is fully deaf, the other on its way. Pearl can be extremely rude and grumpy if she feels she doesn't owe you anything. She isn't afraid to tell others off, even if they don't expect it, and calls it tough love. She doesn't like younger cats and thinks they're always being disrespectful one way or another. It's a miracle if she ends up tolerating you. | Pearl was born a rogue, living in a barn pretty far away from FogClan's territory with her family. When she was young, the barn burned down and her family members either died or ran off. She hasn't found any of them yet but didn't really expect to. She's traveled alone ever since and has recently ended up around FogClan's territory, although it's been harder for her to take care of herself.

|Sanddune is an averaged sized, fluffy, pale cream-colored she-cat with large amber eyes. Sanddune isn't the calmest cat around. She has a large scar on her flank, that's mostly hidden under the fur on her neck. She's a fluffy ball of anxiety, constantly worrying if she is a good enough warrior. She's very self-conscious and has very low self-esteem. Despite this, she tries to be strong for others and is actually a very sweet cat.|Sanddune was formerly a Cedarclan Warrior, but she wanted to escape very badly. She tried to, once, which ended with a Cedarclan Warrior attacking her and leaving her with a bad wound on her flank, saying that he would kill her if she tried to escape again. After the battle though, she doesn't go back to Cedarclan, and decides to stay in Fogclan. |foggy/cedar bark|
