(Oh god Astraphe! Elliot and I are gonna be so upset when that happens. At least it's quick though. Less painful I suppose. Oh Halina is gonna suffer Alistair Helios. He used to have shimmery makeup on his eyelids now he does his eyes with the black ashes of Capitol buildings XD) Yeah it’s gonna be sad but it’s a better death for her tbh. I knew it would be quick anyway cos bloodbath deaths always are Oh yeah, Amadrya is already gonna suffer cos it’s confirmed she has a slow death. I think Macaria will be the same. Hahaha OMG amazing I love it. Imagine if he actually goes full goth for the rebellion. OMG wait I made Diana, his sister. Should she join the rebellion, die, be taken by the Capitol? So many options) |

I love a goth sun god I mean it’d be the best
Omg I know so many options. Especially cos she’s like seven years younger so there could be a special protectiveness there. Okay here are the paths we can potentially take:
Option 1: Diana joins the rebellion despite Alistair trying to stop her and they just have a great time
Option 2: Same as option one but she dies and Alistair gets super pissed
Option 3: She just plain dies during some initial Capitol carnage and Alistair gets pissed - could push him to join the rebels
Option 4: Diana is captured by the Capitol (she can have already joined the rebellion or not it doesn’t really matter) and Alistair gets pissed
Basically 3/4 times Alistair is pissed)

(Yeah same that was an emotional rollercoaster and we didn’t even do all of the character deaths cos loads were killed by Mallory’s electricity thing

Okay so we could combine it so she gets captured by the Capitol during a raid after he told her to be careful and stuff and then he gets her back and she’s been hijacked
Oooohhhh my god that would be the saddest but yessss totally! But she learned sign language so he can talk to her but without other people understanding it maybe?)

Obviously for this to work she has to be kinda stubborn if he wanted to stop her joining the revolution to stop her and she did it anyway. But what kind of personality would work with Alistair? Should they be really similar or should she be totally different from him?)

Dude I should not have made a thirteen year old, everything about having him in those Games broke my heart. Omg Elara was awesome though I loved her
Hmmm I don’t know how to have her. I like Alistair’s personality but as for whether to make Diana similar or different it’s hard. Also the thing about the smile is totally the same for Catullus too
I think maybe she is stubborn and headstrong, but she also is just very caring. I would say she doesn’t share Alistair’s passive aggression, she wears her heart on her sleeve so if she’s mad at you, you’ll know about it. She probably shares his sass and sarcasm. I would say she’s also been kind of trained by the Capitol but she finds it harder than Alistair to hide her true emotions (but she’d protect secrets about the rebellion with her life) and basically her heart just rules her head)

Yeah me too! I think it’d be good x and it emphasises his need to protect her because letting your heart rule your head is not a good thing in the Capitol, nor is any kind of genuine emotion or vulnerability

But even at age 48 she let her stubbornness get the better of her on occasion. And she had always struggled far more than her brother had in keeping her true feelings to herself. The Capitol liked to pick on emotional vulnerability, feelings for family and friends. Anything important to you that could be taken away if you stepped out of line. Diana had always worn her heart on her sleeve.
And the stylist had joined the rebellion alongside her brother, despite Alistair’s continued protests that she look to protect herself instead. That she not implicate herself in what he was doing. He only wanted to look out for her, she knew, but she was the type to take action. She couldn’t let her brother risk his life while she sat in the Capitol pretending it wasn’t happening.
Besides, she knew there had been talk about getting rid of her as a stylist for the next Games. She was getting too old, apparently. Not young and pretty like she had been twenty five years ago. They would take away the whole career she had built just like that, without a second thought, just because of a few wrinkles. No.
She’d show them.
So even with the gun to her head she was sure she had done the right thing.
She was surrounded, though, and she didn’t see a way out.
The peacekeeper, somewhat ironically named now that the rebellion was in full swing, with his gun to Diana’s head quietly but harshly told her to put her weapon down slowly. She knew the others were distracted, and the peacekeepers knew this too. They clearly didn’t want to alert Alistair or any of the others.
So she complied. It would be a death trap for Alistair if she made a fuss and he came in to protect her. She cared about the rebellion, of course, but to her Alistair would always come first. She would just have to keep quiet when she got to the Capitol and not answer their questions.
In the blink of an eye she was restrained and being led out, and it was only when they left the room she was in and passed another (in which Alistair was fighting) that Diana locked eyes with her brother.
An apologetic smile, a small shake of the head.
She’d be okay. The rebellion had bigger fish to fry, and it could not afford to lose Alistair too. She knew that much.
Besides, perhaps if might be could if she could show Alistair that she was capable of taking care of herself without him there to protect her. He needed to put his focus on other things and she was little more than a distraction because of his need to protect her. |
