(Yeah I think so, I really want Holly to last. So I guess they don’t get a chance to injure Burton in the bloodbath and they catch him at a later time when he’s somehow separated from Holly or something?
And then when she’s killed we can go on with the disintegration of the career pack, with Macaria’s death, etc etc. Amadrya will probs already be dead by that point but if not she’ll be killed when the career pack splits)

Destiny gave a painful smile when Astrape mentioned the careers. She looked over to one of them in the distance - Macaria, she remembered - and studied her silently. A puppet of the Capitol, no doubt, as all career tributes were. They had a reputation for pleasing the Capitol in the Games and were incredibly naive in their confidence. Every single one of them believed that they would win, but only one would remain. And who knows? All of their training may have been for nothing if an outer district tribute took the throne.
Her gaze fell back to the young girl in front of her(probably the youngest in this year's games), and brightened up a bit. "You're right," she said, nodding. "Might as well die with a purpose, I suppose." Her words were morbid, yes, but she spoke them with decisiveness. The odds were terribly against them, so what would be the point in killing people, changing who you are as a person, becoming a pawn to the Capitol, only to die at the end of it all?

A strategic one, in which players are simply eliminated, not killed. Hopefully, that should make it easier."

Hmmm yeah I guess maybe she’d fit Heidi’s better because it’s more reflective of the betrayal she feels at Burton becoming part of the Capitol, jumping the fence to where the grass is greener, ‘thank god they rescued you’ But honestly both parts fit so whichever part you feel you can write about easier I guess? As for the other guy singer, I have no idea. They could both fit that. That could always be the voice of a tribute he kills during the Games or something? Or his sisters? Not really sure) |
