(So this was just an idea.
But what if like, for her games, the Capital decided to mostly “pick” Victor’s children to try and detest the rebellion?
Because I could totally see Mallory having a kid at one point, and not a biological one, but adopting a kid.)

Throughout the next week, Harper was determined to push her mental and physical limits. She had woken up bright and early - just as her mentor had told her to - and was currently making her way to the first floor of the Tribute Center. As the doors to the elevator sliced open to reveal the Training Center, Harper couldn't help but grin. She entered confidently and began to observe her surroundings. It appeared that she was the first one down, which was a subtle surprise given the intensities of the career tributes that she had seen during the Reapings' playbacks.
Slowly but with purpose, Harper found her way through the maze of stations to a large glass wall - behind of which harbored a colossal swimming pool. "Hmm," she said, now curious and unsure as to what she wanted to try out first.

Okay and Leo you have the stylist for 2, correct? Here are my ideas for Macaria’s outfit but tbh feel free to change it however you like cos it’s not really representative of her district at all I was just going for the dangerous/romantic theme. Your sun boi can change anything he wants or add anything he wants it’s totally up to you. You can create a whole new outfit if you like I don’t mind cos I’m bad at parade outfits. [ (Very Very VERY much down for the Dangerous dramatic romantic theme. I love everything about this! Don't change a thing! as for Everest 𝐸𝓁𝑜𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒟𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓇 we can try this Coat outfit with gold eyeliner and a gold rose in his breast pocket )

Thanks, Dream! Ooh also Dream I didn’t get makeup up for Sapphire so here you go, hope you like it. It’s to go with the colour scheme for the dress changed to match Alessandro. I’m also thinking gemstones in her hair and on her arms and probably a considerable amount of glitter. Hi everyone x good morning)

Hunter hummed to himself as he worked on making different knots. Hopefully, this would save his life somehow. He doubted most of the other tributes could tie knots like he could. If he was lucky, he could make himself a hammock and snooze while the other tributes killed each other. He chuckled at the thought and shakes his head.
Gus attempted to pick up a sword but found the weapon to be much heavier than he anticipated. He winced as he holds it up for a moment before putting it down. "Okay sword is out of the question." He muttered before glancing around. Gus knew he was the underdog and hoped the Careers wouldn't go for him. Heck, his partner seemed better than him! There is got to be something that I'm good at!
Sapphire stood off to the side observing the other tributes as they trained. She was seeing who was a threat and who was easy pickings. That and checking them out but she can do both! She planned to train for a bit, but she knew how to do most of this stuff anyway. Sterling had advised her to save her best skills for the Gamekeepers.
Darius spent most of his time over at the edible plants and fire making stations. He didn't feel that confident at the more combat oriented stations. With luck he could avoid fighting all together. He really disliked fighting and didn't want to get hurt or worse killed. His plan was to lie low and not starve to death.
~~~
Sterling grinned as he observed the tributes training. He had a really good feeling about this year. One of his tributes were going to win this year! Heck the man even made a bet with the other career mentors about it. These kids were smart as well as deadly.
- - - - - Holly Alandria Holly went to bed rather early the night before, or said she was. Instead, she stayed up, studying poses and fighting skills. She wasn’t strong, and thus she would be determined weak early on. Her short size and small weight, caused from years of hard work and poor care led to the girl being rather money. She had muscle, but most of it was stemmed from running or climbing. She wouldn’t win a fight by brute strength alone, she needed to add some trickery and speed into the mix. Learn the most vulnerable parts of the body, and aim for those.
She stayed remarkably silent as well, her fighting was like a dance, graceful, but could be deadly if she practiced it more. Her strength applied more to flipping, and dodging rather than blunt punches and force.
She didn’t know if it was better or worse. But she applied everything she knew from stealing fabrics or other materials in District 8 to survive to her actions in training. It wasn’t a career way, not at all. But it was very her.
She stopped around midnight deciding to sleep. She had tired herself out, and now she was up again, at 6:00am. It was more sleep than she had in days, and she doubted she could sleep more. Even if training officially begun at 10:00am, she aimed to get more in. She went over some of her notes in her head. Before she silently opened her door, as not to wake the rest of the team, especially Burton, and ran down the hall afterwards, footfalls light and body moving fast. She reached the elevator, taking the way down, and stepped onto the training floor.
She really had a lot to learn, but she hoped it would turn out well. For Burton, and herself, she needed to get a high score. If not, the careers would see her as easy pickings, and while that may be helpful in setting up traps, she rather not face conflict until absolutely necessary. She didn’t want to draw attention to Burton and herself. If she could get a high score, she would be seen as a threat, sponsors would want a threat, not a child, and the other tributes, theoretically, would leave her for later. Giving her and Burton enough time to get used to the arena.
She passed by a few tables, pausing at one. She glanced at the station behind it, smirking slightly. As she approached the station, she smiled, grabbing the katana from the table and approaching the dummy.
Regardless, she needed to perfect the knowledge she already had.
Amadrya Darrow The fire-eyed maid of smoky war
It was early, Amadrya was pretty sure there were several hours before training itself actually begun, though the training centre was accessible outside of its official opening times, since some tributes - namely, the Careers, generally - we’re eager enough to be down there pretty much all of the time.
Amadrya headed down to the training centre, which was pretty sparsely populated this early in the morning, with only one or two other tributes in the room. Good. She wanted to practise the skills she was already good at without making it appear like she was a show-off. If the Careers saw you as a show off, you were pretty high on their kill list.
So she found a station with throwing axes, a small smile spreading on her face as she saw the tool most familiar to her back in her district. Well, a normal axe, not a throwing axe. But hey, she knew how to handle an axe. And if she could get her hands on a weapon like that in the arena it was almost as versatile as a knife, since if could be used as both a tool and a weapon.
She picked up the axe, taking a moment to get familiar with the weight, the balance, the grip. It was so much smoother and more streamlined than what she was useful. She’d practise with this for a few throws to warm up and then do something else afterwards.
She looked to the target in front of her, shaped like a body, with a target on the head and on the chest. Amadrya paused once again, adjusting her centre of gravity, getting her aim. Then she lifted the axe with one hand, using the other arm to balance herself, and then she let the axe loose.
It spun through the air, and landed with the satisfying thump on the target on the head. On the edge of the target, really, she had barely actually hit. But it was a good start, since she didn’t throw axes a lot.
She retrieved her axe and did the same thing a couple more times, trying not to imagine it being an actual person. Trying to forget that she could be throwing an axe at the skull of one of these kids very soon.
Thump. Chest. Thump. Head.
Satisfied with her little warm-up, Amadrya decided to visit some of the more key stations for survival skills she might need in the Arena. She had plans to visit the fire-starting station, but figured it would be better to return to that one a little bit later, something to busy herself with while the others were trying to show off to one another.
So for now, she headed to the shelter-making station, she knew a few basic knots, enough for a shelter, but she’d learn some other useful ones at the knot-tying station a little later.
