Greeneye snorted, playfully swishing his tail across her ear. "Nah, but I promise I'll show you when we're done traveling." He answered, deciding it was best to wait so they didn't have to slow down. "It'll give us something to look forward to." He glanced down at her little body, noticing how small her paw steps looked in the snow. Aw. Poor thing, her growth was probably stunted. "Of course you'll catch up. And you're not a pipsqueak, I don't wanna hear that mouse-dung. Even if you are, don't let anyone limit you for it. There are advantages to being small. And you know, part of becoming a warrior is learning to embrace your quirks, not hate them, and use them to your advantage."
Palestorm purred gently, thankful for the comfort he was bringing her. "Thanks, Webfoot. I don't think they would ever leave us like some of our clan mates were saying... You know, there's gotta be a reason. They always take care of us." She spoke slowly, convincing herself as she went that what she was saying was true. She honestly had faith that StarClan was still there and would be able to make the journey with them. "Oh," She spared another glance at the warrior beside her, a new thought lifting her spirits a bit. "Maybe they went ahead to look for a new home that's perfect for us. So when we get there, they're ready to give us a sign." She felt dumb after she said it, looking away with whiskers twitching to hide her embarrassment.

(hey, I recently made a kittypet, could I join as Chiffon? Chiffon is a cream she-cat with a lot of chest fur and a smooth tail. she has a slender frame and a mutilated leg from a car/monster accident. she has splashes of ginger fur along with ginger ear-tip fluff. she has pale blue-grey eyes and a tattered blue collar.) (I might not be able to rp for a while, school is going to start in a bit for me)

Bramblepaw sat in the camp, feeling a strong breeze tug at her pelt. The weather was getting chillier by the day, but she was satisfied and content. She’d done nothing all day, lazing around and having light conversations with others. That seemed an eternity ago. Bored, she got up from her position, legs stiff from sitting that long and approached fellow apprentice Breezepaw. ”Breezepaw!” She called, walking towards him. “How you doing?”

(ah, then omit the part about Breezepaw traveling beside his mentor)
The greeting more than startled Breezepaw and he lets out a surprised grunt, glancing down at Bramblepaw. She was a few moons younger than him, and he remembers when she first became an apprentice. He didn’t mind her company, nor any of the other apprentices, but after all of the clans seemingly bad luck, the fluffy tom had mostly shut himself out - especially after the death of his beloved mentor. Breezepaw’s pale blue eyes study Bramblepaw for a moment as he thinks over her question. He sighs heavily, left ear flickering as he sets his gaze ahead of himself once more. “I’m sure you can imagine how I’m doing now that we’re finally on the move.” His comment doesn’t necessarily answer her question, but then again, Breezepaw didn’t have an answer in the first place. He had so many contradictory emotions going through him; grief from losing so many loved ones, fear for if they’ll survive, but hope and relief now that they’re finally leaving their doomed land to find a better one.

Woodstick The old tom rasped out a breath."Why do these trips have to be so hard?"
Crowsong The black tom sniffed the air."Anyone care to break off and hunt?"
Dolphinpelt Hobeling along,Dolphinpelt followed the rest of the cats, hoping that he'd keep up.
Seed The small cat padded up ahead of the group so that he could eat and not get left behind.

(I updated the moons so they are there! I also have Finch and Dusk open)
"I would like to!" Honeystrike padded up to Crowsong, her fur rippling a bit. She had been yearning to join a small hunting group. "Where are you planning to hunt? I just saw a nice clearing up ahead. I hope that helps." She added, adding a polite smile. "Unless you want to go somewhere else, like up in the trees or by a pond." Honeystrike paused. She had forgot something. Then, she remembered what to say. "And just now, I scouted the area to find good places to stop and rest. And I found a giant tree if you want to hunt there instead! Perfect for squirrels and mice." Honeystrike as talking on and on, and she was beginning to notice. Embarrassment dawned in her eyes and she licked her chest nervously. "Sorry, I just talk on and on," She murmured slowly to Crowsong.

Crowsong just huffed and pointed his tail towards a small area with pine trees and a rocky outcrop rose into sight."There."He explained and padded off.Ever since he had left a former clan's territory with the gorge and the cat we thought loved him,he had been starting to become closed off,and didn't enjoy much of anything any more.

Bramblepaw sighed in sympathy at the apprentice, noticing his sad look. It was hard for the Clans travelling, and it had taken a big toll on herself too. The white furred apprentice was half-deaf, which made things even harder. Some didn’t even know she was half deaf. There was no point in telling them. Bramblepaw sat down beside Breezepaw, not wanting to make eye contact in case it freaked him out. ”You can speak to me.” She murmured quietly, patiently waiting for a response.

Breezepaw gave a soft chuckle, it sounded a little forced though, but it was mainly just his way of trying to break the tension. He takes a moment to hesitate, sitting down beside her since he noticed that the clan might be stopping to hunt for a bit. The fluffy apprentice blinked slowly and gave another sigh, hoping he wasn't sounding too dramatic. "Thanks, I appreciate that Bramblepaw." He paused, taking a moment to glance down at her. "I'm just not sure what to say really. I mean this all just happened, it's a lot to process, y'know?"

Bramblepaw purred, stepping a little closer to the tom, but not so she was intruding. ”I agree.” She nodded her head to Breezepaw, gazing off into the distance wistfully. She remembered her deceased kin with a pang of grief. Her sister had died just before they journeyed away. Perchpaw was her only remaining kin. No one knew what happened to her parents. ”I miss Perchpaw.” She admitted, ”I’m sure you’ve been struggling yourself. Everyone has.”

Breezepaw took a moment to look down at the white furred apprentice, processing his thoughts. He had nearly forgotten the passing of her sister, Perchpaw. So many cats, young and old, were taken from them. Was this as a punishment? Was Starclan mad at them? He had no idea, though he wish he knew. "You're right." He told her, pausing before continuing on. "I miss her too, she was always fun to spar with, Starclan knows she could kick my pelt anytime." Breezepaw chuckled at the thought. "I wonder what we did to make them angry with us."
"Swiftstrike..." Sweetspots trailed off, frowning slowly. Her voice was filled with concern. "We can't think like that. I'm...I'm sure Starclan had their reasons. They wouldn't just do this just because." Though, as the words came out, the she-cat did begin to wonder what this was all for. Right? While she questioned herself, the calico did gaze up at Swiftstrike once more. "Things will get better, they have to. We just have to trust that this is what's good for us. I just wish that it didn't have to come with so much heartache." Her own eyes drift over to her brother, the large tom padding just ahead of them. She was lucky to still have him in her life.
Deerpelt gave a nod, following his gaze to look over the others before meeting his eyes once more. She offers a smile, noticing how tense the tom looks. "They've got to, right?" While she does question him, the tabby feels very confident that they'll find a new home eventually. "And hey, if we can't find good hunting grounds, then we'll just have to keep searching." Deerpelt's smile grows and she allows her pelt to brush against Flareheart's in a comforting way. "Try not to worry too much, this is a strong group. We'll get through this." Her words are meant to be encouraging, and she hopes he takes them that way.

Bramblepaw chuckled as Breezepaw gave the memory of her sister. There was still a unbearable pain in her heart for the cats of the Clan. Why did their Clan suffer? The white she-cat was sure the Clan had not committed any crimes. They stayed loyal to StarClan, but if it was their only way to get away from terror, they would have to travel. “Remember when Perchpaw snapped at almost everyone because the elders nests weren’t made properly?” Bramblepaw gazed to Breezepaw, a small laugh emitted from her jaws. “She’s was pretty riled up about that. Although she let you off. I think she was scared because you’re older than her. I mean, were older than her.” Bramblepaw stumbled over the last words.

"I doubt the place we're going will be very similar to our home." Greeneye answered her, deciding to tell her the truth. Yes, it was hard leaving their home behind, but he didn't see any good it sugar coating it for the apprentice. It was going to be different and she had to be able to adapt to that change. "But all the apprentices will get mentors. Maybe I'll talk to Patchstar and see if he'll let me train you." He grinned a little, warmed at the thought that she wanted him to be her mentor. As the cats around him slowed down he looked confused, fur bristling a little. "What, we're stopping to hunt?" He grumbled to himself. It felt like they just left. But as he glanced around he could see how tired his clanmates looked, huffing as he sat down in the snow.
Palestorm shivered as everyone settled for the clan's first rest stop. Standing still in in the snow just made it feel even colder than when she was moving. She flexed her claws in and out a couple times, feeling like her toes were about to fall off. "Want to see if we can find something to catch?" She blinked at Webfoot, noticing that some cats were trying to hunt for the clan. "I can't stand here any longer."
Patchstar tried not to shiver too much as he sat, watching his clan. "Stay together." He meowed, hoping his vouce was load enough to reach over all the cats. "If you go hunt don't go far, and keep a clanmate with you." He was worried they were going to lose somebody on this journey. Like actually leave them behind or misplace them. He crouched down and wrapped his thin tail over his paws, resting his eyes.

Willowpaw noticed the clan stopped and jumped around Greeneye, glad to be able to learn now. "Can you train me, like you said?" She purred, giving him her best begging face. She didn't seem to be tired from the traveling, if anything it seemed to fill the apprentice with even more energy now. She fluffed up her fur and looked at him expectantly, hoping he would say yes. If I can get some training in, I'll be well on my way to a warrior!
Webfoot looked around, examining their surroundings before nodding to Palestorm. "We should hunt, the clan is probably starving right now, I hope we can bring back a decent amount of prey out here." He began to walk off, tasting the air as he went. It seemed not too much different than their camp life to him, except they were in unfamiliar land. He tried to scent out some kind of prey but it seemed as though it had all burrowed itself in for the night. He grumbled to himself and began to walk further off, looking behind him to make sure the she-cat was still in his line of sight.
Littlecloud glanced at Patchstar, wondering if she should go searching for herbs. She stood up on her paws and decided she would "Patchstar, if it's alright with you, I would like to take an apprentice out with me to search for herbs. I think we need some travelling herbs." She lied smoothly, in reality she wanted to get some just in case something happened to the clan, like a small outbreak of greencough. She swished her tail as she spoke, hoping he'd agree. She wouldn't mind carrying the herbs for the whole trip but she wasn't sure how he'd feel about her doing so.
