Hello Aprilflower! Welcome to the forums! Yes I did! It was raining a lot of the time but I got to read and draw a lot. Neeeeeeeeever heard of it. Is it good? That's awesome What did you read? Yeah, it's a Lifetime movie XD I really liked the fact that it wasn't a love interest centered plot, and the one girl hated the other girl for a reason that wasn't about a guy. I originally read that as a general 'what do you read' instead of did. XD I read just about anything. Fantasy, Sci-fi, and WWII historical fiction are major genres that I read, but I've read and enjoyed things from just about every genre. Pfft. Okay, what I did read was one Marvel comic, several graphic novels, some manga, and started a book called 'To Night Owl from Dog Fish' which is basically the Parent Trap and very entertaining so far from my 57 pages I've read. XD Oh! That actually sounds like something I'd watch.

Haha same XD The only things i really don't like, are romance and most young adult things, because they're basically the SAME types of characters, and all the love interests are the same, dark broody, borderline abusive guys that are as big as houses. Though surprisingly, in this book Shadowspell Academy, the main character, who is a girl, is actually taller than most of the girls, and it hasn't focused on romance yet, which I LOVE! I just started reading book 2. I love the Parent Trap

I just started reading book 2. I love the Parent Trap Oh! I'll check this book out, it sounds good. I can read some romance, but usually I actually have to see it developed. Not the sort of romance you get for a dime and a dollar and only have to read one to read them all. Something that actually makes me care. So that excludes a lot of romance. X'D Today I went to a book sale and raided the paranormal section just because that was the day's genre of choice (that and classics) and I literally went through every single book trying to find something which wasn't romance. Just because it was all exactly the sort of romance that has literally nothing useful in it. (My exact thoughts were: Gaaaaaaaaaaah. I'll even take a romance subplot, just give me something without the word 'passion' and 'can he/she truly love he/she/them?' I finally found a mystery that seems to include a witty main character from the summery and few paragraphs I read, but who knows really. 1 book out of at least 35. *eye roll* ) Yeeeee. It was funny. My sister showed it to me.

mintedstar/furHaha XD I find it hard to relate to books with a romance plot, because I've never had those feelings myself, so I'm just like, wait, they gave up their DREAM job for their love interest? That's dumb XD Or when the love interest is used as a bargaining chip for the villain to win or whatever lol.

Ooooooh I relate. Same here. But I've written romance before and after reading it long enough I can put myself in that person's shoe. But if something like your example happened I'd be saying the exact same thing. Mostly because if I ever had those feeling then my love interest is darn well gonna respect what I want in life or they aren't worth it. So if something stupid like that happens than I'm not reading it. Or I'll get beyond frustrated with the characters and my view of them has become very low. Oooooooh ye! That! Sometimes the villain doing that is okay with me and other times it's cheesy dramatics that's useless.
Pfft. You should see my bookcase right now. It's scary.

I've been watching A LOT of Lifetime movies lately XD But I love movies/shows with sports, I don't care what sport, and I don't care which genre, but as long as it has sports, I love it XD Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever seen a sport horror movie. I also really really like South Park. What about you?

I haven't seen a lot of sports things, but I honestly would watch it if it had some good characters. Dragon Prince, Umbrella Academy, Lucifer, Series of Unfortunate Events, Stranger Things, MCU, old Disney movies, and some things like that. ^^

Heyyy! I've seen Christopher Pike all over! I work at the library a lot, so I know who that is even though I have never read any of his books.
Huuuum. Warriors, ha ha. Then I like Harry Potter, Riordan's stuff, Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, some stuff by Neil Gaimen. I also like Hanna's Suitcase, the Joe Grey Mystery series, Stargirl, the Count of Monte Cristo, er ... various other books which I love but go even further afield. XD

Heyyyyyyyy! I'm reading book 3 of Cirque du Freak! I've read the manga for them. XD But it's been almost a year since I read them, so I'm trying to pick but three up this break. I like the series a lot.

I'm bookish enough for it. XD What about you? I have not. I found out there was the book first (I read book 1), then I found out there was a manga adaption and read all of that, and then went back and read book 2. And now I'm about 1/4th through book 3 after leaving the series for a year because school is horrible. I tried the movie, but about 5 minutes in I realized it wasn't like the book and dropped it. I was disappointed.

I mean, I think that's still logical. I think some campers can have part of the traits but not all of them. Or maybe as a kid of Dionysus you just party different - the lady who does that Where's My Bubble? thing (wrote Book Love and Quite Girl in something-something?) had a good idea for how to do it. XD Speaking of 'Book Love' you'd probably like it. It's a really good coffee-table style book for readers. www.amazon.com/Book-Love-Debbie-Tung/dp/1449494285
