Ragnael suddenly had an idea."But what if we managed to convince a Warmaster to join us?"It was most likely impossible to happen, since they didn't like to get tangled up in the affairs of those outside their own."It would be a nice dream to dream."He stated.

Azuriel shrugged. "One Warmaster's army is nowhere near enough to make a difference for you. Plus they are already fighting fronts against Ragnarok anyway." Bigger battles than the rebellion would ever fight. "It would be a matter of you joining them." She glanced at Ragnael. "To ask them to join you would be insulting them, actually." Ragnael would basically need to kiss a lot of ass to even hope to gain such a privilege of fighting beside a Warmaster.

"Not so much as join me as fight with me."Ragnael stated bluntly."If one joined me I would become one of the most legendary leaders to live."He liked the sound of that but it sounded far fetched.

Azuriel laughed at his second comment. "That's as likely as getting Uriel to fight for you." She looked around for thr Manor. They should be getting there soon. "Which Warmaster did you even have in mind?" Eventually, she saw the grandness that was the Count's Manor. She could see lights and hear noise even though it was far away. "There it is." She then laughed a little. "We're going to look like uncultered swines when we get there. Everyone will be dressed up, and we're in armor and togas." And the Griffexes were naked technically. Angling her wings, she descended toward the Manor, landing neatly and folding her wings, ignoring the looks they were getting.

"Any fed up with wasting time on that sorry excuse for a Warmaster!"He spat as he landed. As the Griffexes followed he noticed that not many people looked like they wanted to see them."Not my decision to meet here!"He growled as he passed.

Azuriel hummed as they walked into the Manor, no one stopping them. "Then your best bet is Babari or Ramntar. They're the stronger ones and good soldiers all their own, but their armies are impressive too." She looked as a beautiful woman showed up, makeup perfect and dress magnificent. Azuriel bowed slightly. "Evening, Countess Flawless. We've come to see your husband's most important guest." The vampire simply stared, looking them up and down like she were looking at bad works of art.

Ragnael noticed the look in the woman's eyes."Don't look if you don't like what you see."He growled. He wasn't in the mood to deal with judgmental vampires that wear too much makeup to take the attention off their asses."Just show us to your guest."

Azuriel punched Ragnael's shoulder, but it was clear she was trying not to laugh. Flawless takes before turning away, saying "Don't plan to stay long. My husband doesn't approve of such... rustic guests." She then turned to lead the way to the main room, a big one with tables and such set about. Most of the monsters were standing and talking. The vampire walked them over to who they were there for. Count Vlad was there, dressed nicely of course. And, surprisingly, Ragnarok was in a suit, tailored custom to his... structure. His large eye studied them, not saying a word.

Ragnarok simply stared. A voice rang out, despite him not having any noticeable mouth. "I was invited by the Count to attend. One must create bonds to keep allies." Mainly cause Vlad and Flawless had money. Lots of it. "A smart man does smart things, Ragnael. You don't do smart things." He looked at the group the leader brought, not at all concerned by them. "If you did, you'd know that soldiers aren't the only way to win wars. Or be relevant in them at least." Azuriel snorted. Ragnarok was right. Ragnael was technically leading the army at the bottom of the food chain because it was just that. An army.

"Yes,well, you try leading when 95% of the population doesn't like you then come talk to me."Ragnael snorted. It was starting to annoy him how everyone thought they were his superior."And bonds are being made as we speak. For you and for me.Now,why did you invite me here?"

Ragnarok just continued to watch Ragnael. "Amusement, really. To see something that would give me a good laugh." He didn't show any noticeable expressions of amusement though. "I do hope you have more up your sleeve than retorts, Ragnael. You've already insulted one of the most important monsters in Monstelvania. Who's next? Galante? King Daeron? Perhaps that old fart of a false god that you all bow to."

"First of all,I only came here to see what you wanted. And second,Uriel is about as much real as you are popular in this place."Ragnael replied smoothly. If Ragnarok wanted to start something,he'd have to make the first move.

Ragnarok merely shrugged. "What I don't understand is why you put so much faith in someone who hasn't been around for five millennia. And when someone comes to restore order, you all turn and demand war." He didn't seem annoyed or anything though. He had yet to pass any kind of expression actually. "Maybe that is why Uriel abandoned you, because you have no sense about you. And lack of sense gets you killed these days. No wonder nearly all the angels are dead. Or maybe it's because I ran them to border on extinction."

"What kind of order can you create?"Ragnael didn't like the way he was tampering with Uriel's memory and the way he thought he was her superior."I didn't want to start a war,I only lead those who oppose you."

Ragnarok blinked his large eye once. "Those who oppose me? The number lessens by the day because monsters know the a winning side when they see one. Well, most of them. You and your rebels are destined to loose. The Warmasters too. You all refuse to bow go a real god, but that will cease soon enough. You will either bow to me, or die." He then hummed. "Maybe Uriel finally died off, but I unfortunately doubt something like old age or sickness would get him. Hopefully something got him, so you won't be kidding yourselves for the rest of your days."

Ragnarok studied Ragnael. "I doubt anyone will ever bow to you when there are still nine Warmasters, kings and queens, and other more influential individuals still alive." Turning away he took a moment to look around the room. Most of the monsters were looking their way. "You will never have people besides your rebels to treat you as a leader." Looking back to Ragnael, he blinked his large eye again. "But please, continue trying. You're doing me a favor, sending your scouts and soldiers to die."

"Oh,but then, who will you try to convince to kiss your ass when we're all gone?"Ragnael smirked. If anyone tried to predict a win, before he did,Ragnael would not show so much as a hair of weakness."But before you tell me,answer me this:Who will support you when you've denied them the reign you promised?"

"You fail to realize quite a lot." Ragnarok might've smiled if he had a mouth. "I convince no one of anything. They either follow me, or die. I do not waste time trying to convince anyone of anything." He then looked around. "And, I have promised no one anything. You have though, to defeat me. One mustn't make promises he can't keep, lest other lose faith in him. Fitting, isn't it? As that is basically what happened with Uriel. He promised to protect this world, and failed, and now monsters either follow me or fight amongst themselves."

"And I hope your god cracked his tailbone when he fell from what I'm sure was a pretty hard fall then." Ragnarok looked down at Ragnael, not at all annoyed with him. Either that or he didn't show it. "Who knows. You might be right. You might not. Only way is to find out, but strategy always trumps strength, and it seems that I remain on top for now because I know how to properly strategize." He gestured to the Count and Countess. "You only have your army. Not smart. Maybe you'll have more ground in this war when you stop crowing about your rebel army only."

Ragnarok just stared back. "Funny to think I would so much as try to bullshit my way through that question." He reached a claw to scratch a patch of skin by his eye. "That is for you to try and find out, Ragnael, though you'll only make things harder for yourself. You're simply not as good a strategist as I am yet." Other monsters snickered and laughed softly at his insult, watching the rebels with sneering looks. "I expected to see something when you showed up, but you are as disappointing as the people you lead."

Ragnarok tsked. "You'll never know of low I've gone, Ragnael. Today's age is but child's play to me. No one here is worthy of my time. That is the one thing I miss about your false god." He looked over as Azuriel growled lowly, but no comment was made. "If I'd wanted to capture you, I would have done so as soon as you got here. It's never wise to waste time though. So I don't. Everything I do is for a reason." Turning to Vlad, he said "Let them stay for a while if they'd like. I have a few other monsters I want to talk to." And with that, he turned to leave, not even casting the group a second glance.

Azuriel simply shrugged before turning to follow Ragnael out. Others still continued to give them looks, but she ignored it. She did glance back at Ragnarok though, seeing that he didn't even spare them a glance, already back to talking with the other guests. Tsking, the angel turned and finished the trip back outside, spreading her wings to take off.
