Hawkeyes258 "Wouldn't we all?" The captain swished her ears a little as she looked down at Salem. "But they are on top for a reason. All we can hope to do is not anger them too much." The last time that had happened, things had been a disaster. No war or anything, but Savannah had missed out on many goodies they usually got from Highcloud through trade. "That doesn't mean we can't keep trying. I would like to live to see the day we do something first before them."

"Hopefully." Salem muttered. "Ya know I heard those primates are somehow related to humans. Do you think they will ever be like them?" Salem questioned. This was something he and a few others animals wondered.

Hawkeyes258 Ami hummed. "I'm not sure, on both accounts. They look like furry humans, yet they are nowhere near as vicious or greedy." Yes, primates were still plagued by a superiority complex, and were more advanced than some settlements, but they were nowhere near as horrible as the humans had been. They simply thought that primates were just... better, she supposed. Not necessarily superior more or less. "Let us hope they keep their wits about them though."

👻videocassette👻 It had been a while since she had been out. She had been spending a lot of time sorting out important matters such as criminals and foreign topics. She finally had some free time today though. Saran padded through the markets of Sunny Plain, her guards making sure no one got near her. It was insisted she have servants to our and get things for her, but she put her foot down and demanded that she get to go herself. So there she was, looking around as the shopkeepers and their wares. Those who saw her immediately looked with curiosity. The lioness offered them kind looks as she passed, though she looked over upon seeing Nakki nearby. An ear flicking, she studied him for a moment before walking toward him. "What treasure are you adding to your collection today, hm?" It was quite known that he liked to collect things. Valuable things anyway. Nakki blinked in surprise to see the queen herself out among the shops, and he bowed his head in a respectful greeting. His eyes narrowed fondly at the question, not quick to brag to someone higher up in status than him, but still ready to express his deep appreciation for valuable, beautiful things to line his nest with. "I am seeking more stones today, your majesty. The brighter, the better." He hummed, "I was considering using some to decorate myself, if I can find ones light enough to wear around my neck."

👻videocassette👻 The lioness listened as Nakki spoke of his little quest. "Ah, I see. I do believe I saw a baboon selling some nice wares, smaller ones. Perhaps they will suit your size better?" She gestured with a toss of her head for him to follow. Her guards immediately moved to follow, but have a little space for the bird to follow their queen. Saran walked back toward where she had seen the baboon selling his gems and jewelry. Maybe she would actually but something too, considering she had only had a brief look. A good enough look to decide that some of the previous stones would perhaps please Nakki. She had also noticed others seemed to be avoiding him, for "obvious" reasons. He was a primate. Tsking, Saran shook her head as she thought about it. Such hostility was foolish in her opinion. Foolish to think that the entirety of one creature could be evil or malicious or whatever crazy thought.

Salem mewed in agreement. They didn't need another disaster like the ones the humans caused. Can't say he missed those wretched creatures. He pricked his ears as a few birds flew overhead chirping on about something. "Suppose I have kept you long enough captain."

Hawkeyes258 Tilting her head a little, she hummed. "Oh no, you're quite alright. I like to just talk sometimes. Battle isn't always what thrills me." Looking around, Ami took in the sights again before continuing "Though I suppose it is I who has been keeping you long enough. I'm sure you have patients to tend to." And she knew most of the healers there were very focused on their work most of the time. "Perhaps you'd like to be getting back."

Salem glances back at his bag and sees that he got most of the herbs he needed. "Suppose I should. There are a few young ones that I need to check on and someone might be waiting on me." He remarked flicking his tail. His work as a healer was never done.
