Hello! This is a game that I thought to create! It's called the Book Game, because I can't think of any other title XD
How to Play: The first person will post a page number of a book and a paragraph number. Then, you will pick up the book closest to you (or find a book of your choice), and you will go to that page of the book and point at any word randomly in that paragraph. Post that word and then post a new page number and paragraph number requirement for the next person, along with the book the word you have found was from. If the book you have chosen does not have that paragraph or page number, go to the next closest (: As a word of caution, if the word you have stumbled upon is in anyway inappropriate, also skip to the next word (:
This is a fun way to get some book recognition, as well (so, feel free to include if you like the book you have picked up, if you want, so others might be inclined to read it)!
If my instructions were confusing, here is an example:
Player one: Page 20, paragraph 3
Player two: word: immediately, book: Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
Page 36, paragraph 5
Player three: word: son, book: Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
Page 60, paragraph 4...
And so on! Does that make sense?
