Shadefang smiled. "I know you will," she said with a nod. "I'll show you around the camp and you can make your nest with the apprentices." She eyed him and all that energy he seemed to have. "If you're tired you can rest and eat before we do anything." She certainly missed her own nest here in camp, instead of the makeshift ones they kept making on that trip.

(i'm assuming it's like, late??? because the timeskip is happening soon but idk)
Tigerstripe could feel his own exhaustion sinking in as he watched Hollycloud become drowsier. His mind drifted to Brambleflower, who was likely settled down in the nursery by now with her kits. He would have to visit her tomorrow and meet them properly, and he also wanted to talk with Kitepaw and get to know his nephew. After what felt like a thousand lifetimes his family were finally all together in one place, and he couldn't think of a time when he'd ever been happier. A large, goofy grin on his face, he drifted off to sleep.

Kitepaw nodded determinedly. "Okay, Shadefang!" he chirruped, standing up tall with his chest slightly puffed out. He had seen a young silver tabby she-cat during the apprentice ceremony calling out his name - she had looked about his age, but he hadn't seen any other cats who might be his new denmates. "What are the other apprentices like?" he asked with a quizzical tilt of his head, "Are they nice?"

(I don't think I did but I'll have a look now! Thanks for letting me know ^^)
Seedpaw listened intently to Owltuft as her mentor spoke. "They sound amazing," she breathed, her eyes shining with wonder. Being a medicine cat was the greatest thing in the world, and Seedpaw would declare that proudly to anybody who asked. Hopefully, it wouldn't be long before she received her full name - maybe a few more moons if she worked really hard to prove herself to Owltuft. But first they'd have to find this special place that StarClan had sent them to look for, so they could communicate with their ancestors! "Do you have any idea what we're looking for? Is it like, a cave or something?" she asked Owltuft, tilting her head quizzically. The path ahead started to show signs of becoming smaller the higher they went.Owltuft paused and pondered for a moment. "Well, in my dream it was cold and damp so I assume it was a cave."His eyes flickered back to the path when the realization hit him. The group had covered a good amount of distance."Waterfur and Seedpaw keep an eye for any crevice we can squeeze into."He padded forward pawing at any small opening that presented themselves.

Shadefang rolled her eyes. "For the most part. Some of the older ones are so impatient to get out of there," she said. "Don't let them push you around." She got to her paws and started walking toward the back end of the camp. Normally a tour of the camp wasn't necessary with a new apprentice since they explored the camp as kits, but Kitepaw was an exception. "There's a few around your age, though." She stopped beside the medicine cat's den and swept her tail in its direction. "That's the medicine cat's den. You can tell because the scent of herbs just gets all over you if you get near it."

Obediently, Seedpaw began to search the rock face that loomed up beside them for any sort of crevice or crack that looked large enough for a cat to fit through. She noticed that the path underfoot was becoming much narrower, and she was forced to slow down in order to slip into line directly behind Owltuft rather than at his side. "I can't see anything," she admitted after a while, a little dismayed. She would just have to keep looking, she supposed. They were climbing higher and higher, and she couldn't see the tops of the trees very well, if at all, through the thickening mist.

As long as they weren't mean, Kitepaw supposed it'd be alright. He was still looking forward to meeting them, regardless of how well they took to his arrival, and was hoping he could at least make a few friends in FogClan; he'd never had any at all in CedarClan after his sisters died, and he missed them a lot. "We won't train with claws, right?" he asked nervously, his voice a little shaky as the memory of his old mentor, Birchpelt, came creeping back. When Shadefang paused in front of the medicine den, Kitepaw took a long sniff. He wrinkled his nose immediately and gagged as the overwhelming odour invaded his nostrils. "Wow, I haven't smelled a medicine den in moons!" he exclaimed, taking a step back to rid himself of the pungent smell, "Our old medicine cat back in CedarClan went missing."

Shadefang shook her head. "No claws. Only when you're in a real fight," she assured him, resting her tail tip on his shoulder. When he mentioned the missing medicine cat, she narrowed her eyes. Missing... She was unsure if the story he knew was the whole one. She nodded her head the other direction with a grunt, headed to an ivy-covered cave opening. "This one's the nursery. You'll be cleaning out the bedding in here sometimes." She could hear distraught meowing from the inside, so Shadefang wasn't sure they should stick around too long.

Emberpaw's eyes followed Tigerstripe as he quickly left to go investigate something else. Her curious gaze quickly turned to an excited one when she had seen clanmates from cederclan at the entrance. She quickly searched the familiar faces for Juniperwing, padding around to get the best look she can. Her tail drooped when she realized that there would be no heartfelt reunion between the two of them today. Not that she was overly confident that there would be one, just her excitement got the better of her it seems. It seemed that others were starting to turn in for the day, though Emberpaw didn't feel even a bit tired at the moment. Other than going on a hunt near the camp she couldn't think of much to do other than see if any of the 'new' clanmates wanted assistance on making their nests.

(oof I feel. I can't even count how many times I've been writing very late into the night, and I fall asleep with my laptop open. It even happens sometimes while I'm typing and I'll be pressing on a key, and when I wake up there's just a bunch of random letters XD)
Icebreeze padded over to the camp entrance, head and tail hanging low. He knew he had to be strong for his clan, and celebrate those who were there. But he couldn't stop replaying the moment in his head when Flintfur was carried off by the two-leg. He had been so focused on hunting that he hadn't even noticed the cat cross to the other side of the stream. If he had been paying attention, he could have cautioned him, or something. If he noticed the two-leg, he could have warned him, and Flintfur would have had enough time to run away. If he hadn't been so scared, he could have chased after the two-leg. He could have done something more. Icebreeze sat down, hissing at himself.

Kitepaw breathed a sigh of relief, letting his shoulders sag under Shadefang's tail. "Okay, that's good. My old mentor Birchpelt used to use claws a lot, especially when I was little. Snowclaw said he made him stop, but I don't know what he did to him," he explained, surprisingly indifferent now that he'd been reassured by his new mentor. He perked up when they reached the nursery, wanting to go inside and see Brambleflower and the kits, but the look in Shadefang's eyes told him that probably wasn't a good idea. He could just about see Brambleflower in her nest from where he stood if he peered through the ivy, and he made brief eye contact with his mother as she lifted her head at the sound of pawsteps by the den entrance. He waved with his tail, and Brambleflower returned the gesture. "I don't mind, me and Twistedpaw had to clean out the bedding a lot in CedarClan, but we were doing it for Ravenstar most of the time. There weren't many other apprentices, and the other ones always got to go out training because they were bigger and stronger," he mewed to Shadefang.

Willowpaw was about to head into the apprentices' den and call it a day when she spotted Emberpaw padding around nearby. She bounded over to her denmate eagerly, greeting the younger apprentice with a trill. "Have you seen Brambleflower's kits yet? They're really cute! I had no idea Ashpelt would be bringing cats back to the Clan with him," she mewed, her blue eyes gleaming. She had only got a brief look at the new arrivals, because most of them had already wandered off into different dens; there had been a black tom with an orange tail-tip who looked around her own age, and a younger tabby with really big orange eyes, but most of them were a lot older. She was excited to meet them properly, and get to know them more. "You lived in CedarClan once, right?" she asked Emberpaw. Willowpaw herself had been a kittypet and had never heard of the old Clan before the patrol was announced, but she was keen to learn more about what it had been like before FogClan.

Fawnstep watched Icebreeze for a few heartbeats, wondering what had got him so down. She knew the loss of a warrior seemed daunting but he could have done nothing to help their fallen clanmate. Was there something else going on? Being the talkative she-cat she was, she headed over to him and sat down in front of him. "Icebreeze, what's going on?" She tried to sound cheerful and not like she was trying to get information out of the tom but she really wanted to know if he had something he was hiding from them. She heard her apprentice, Willowpaw not too far off and forced a small purr away.

Badgerpaw, admittedly curious about the CedarClan cats, slowly crept from the apprentices' den into the camp. He'd been hesitant to leave the safety of his nest at first, especially considering these cats were from their old Clan. He had been very young when he'd been brought from CedarClan, only four moons old, and he wasn't sure whether he'd recognise any of their faces when he saw them. He was surprised to see that he did, and his jaw dropped when he saw Dappleleaf and Gingerstripe stood in the main cave. He trotted over, still a little uncertain, but he wondered if they'd remember him.

Icebreeze lifted his head a bit, and gave Fawnstep a half-hearted smile. "Oh, hey Fawnstep," he meowed. He looked down at the ground. "Flintfur was captured by a two-leg, while he and I were out in the territory," he replied, keeping his response short. "I feel like I could have done more to help him," he finally admitted.

(yay! ^^)
Brambleflower cracked open one eye at the sound of small pawsteps moving around in the den, instinctively curling her tail around her kits. She was surprised to see a kit she hadn't seen before bounding out into the camp - she could've sworn that she and Cloudsplash were the only queens in the nursery, and Cloudsplash's kits hadn't arrived yet. She was about to call out, but the little kit was soon out of earshot and she frowned in concern as she watched the tiny silver tabby poking around by the camp entrance. She scanned the rest of the camp, looking for someone she could call over and notify about the kit. Waspwing immediately caught her eye, and she called out the she-cat's name. Waspwing's head swung around in her direction and Brambleflower's gaze was met by a bold yellow stare. She beckoned the golden tabby over, and when Waspwing was close enough she jutted her muzzle in the direction of the camp entrance. "I saw a kit sneak out of the nursery and go over there, I'm not sure where she went," she informed the younger she-cat. "That'll be Silverkit." Waspwing looked almost agitated as she spoke; Brambleflower wondered if the wiry she-cat liked kits at all, considering how reluctant she had been to even carry one of her newborns. "I'll go check on her." And with that, Waspwing turned tail and began to trudge towards the cave entrance.
