"I'm sure they'll all look great," Icebreeze gave a soft meow in reply. He stood up when Flintfur mentioned helping out. "That sounds good," he replied, padding over to the fresh-kill pile to pick out a mouse for himself. He would work much better on a full stomach, and while things were pretty easy going in the clan right now, there was always something he could do to help.
(I'm gonna head off. Have a midterm in the early afternoon, so I have to be up to study for it in the morning)

{You're fine, I honestly am only on here so much because being a house wife means I set my own rules lol Just doing laundry right now. Was the gas station fun?
Alright time to talk to myself}
Snaketooth approached Twistedpaw and sat down in front of him, swatting his head playfully. "What's got into you?" He asked, his eyes narrowed into slits. Twistedpaw grumbled and rolled away from him. Snaketooth laughed at his actions and brought his paw onto the apprentice's side, turning him back over. "Really, what has gotten into you? Did something happen with Robinsong?" He thought it was unlikely but he might as well listen to Twistedpaw's side of the story.
"She said I was a good luck charm, I'm not. I have a bad leg, my mom didn't even want me and I was almost forced to be a medicine cat. I'm not good luck, if anything I'm walking bad luck." Snaketooth took a deep breath when he said, realizing Twistedpaw was just being moody.
"You're acting mouse-brained. You are lucky. You kept yourself sane the whole time in Cedarclan, you helped get cats out with Dappleleaf. You need to realize that." Twistedpaw grunted in response and Snaketooth heaved himself to his paws. "You know, I realize that a lot of things in the past brought you down but acting out to Robinsong isn't going to fix your leg." He was about to leave when Twistedpaw grabbed his tail.
"I'm sorry, I just.." His shoulders sagged and Snaketooth sat beside the apprentice. "The whole time with Ravenstar he kept telling me how I was cursed from the day I was born. He only kept me around because it was funny to see the limp cat go get him prey." Snaketooth scraped his claws on the ground when he heard that, anger surging for him. Despite them only being 7 moons apart he viewed Twistedpaw like his kit.
"You're not, rest up, Twistedpaw. I'll tell Robinsong you're sorry, okay?" His voice was strained as he tried to not lash out in anger. Twistedpaw nodded weakly and Snaketooth brushed out of the den, fur bristling.
{Tis lame but I haven't slept ahh }

Eyes wide and anxious, Kitepaw shot to his paws and scrambled over to Dappleleaf. "Dappleleaf, Brambleflower's stomach hurts!" he mewed, rushing his words in his small fit of panic. She was so close to kitting, what if the kits came now? Their camp was only temporary, they had no medicine cat and Ravenstar might not be very far behind. Approaching Dappleleaf had been his first thought, as most of the others were out of camp, and he had no idea what Ashpelt knew about kits and queens.

Palemouse was lying in front of the warrior den.She sighed, glancing around camp. Even though she went on patrol earlier the she-cat was bored out of her mind. Plus camp has been too quiet for her liking. Standing guard would be productive, but her paws were itching for a more thrilling activity. Palemouse amber eyes danced back, and forth studying the camp.

Owltuft mewed quietly to the apprentice.βWe're off to find the new place where we will be sharing tongues with starclan.βTaking off right after Seedpaw he kept the pace to match with Waterfur. Urgency tingle throughout every step he took. Exiting through the cave entrance Owltuft purred contentedly as the sun rays hit his pelt. Warmth and time away from cave seemed promising for the time being. Looking ahead at the mountain his pupil wavered slightly remembering the rocky terrain. The path ahead looked long and tough, but it was expected it shouldn't be no match for the trio's determination. ^Broken))

Waterfur followed the other two as they exited the cave.It's high time I go on an expedition.She sighed inwardly.Even if I wont have Brokennose with me.She didn't want to think she needed her brother with her,but she knew he was a good source of protection."Let's hope this will be easy."

Owltuft nervously laughed glancing over at the at the blue warrior."Easy?"Not really however, I can promise you Waterfur Starclan will guide us along on this journey."He walked along the path avoiding the temptation to cast a glance down below."When night falls we can take rest in one of the mountain crevices. Hopefully we can find something up in these mountains to eat."

Plus camp has been too quiet for her liking. Standing guard would be productive, but her paws were itching for a more thrilling activity. Palemouse amber eyes danced back, and forth studying the camp. Emberpaw had been padding quietly around camp in attempt to find her mentor. Her tail was for once a bit more relaxed however flicking back and forth as she continued her search. Her eyes wondered over to the warrior's den, assuming that was the most plausible spot for him to be. Instead she saw Palemouse lounging about so she took the initiative to pad over "Do you know where Tigerstripe is?" she asked almost immediately when she was close enough.

Palmouse straightened up when Emberpaw approached her. She offered a warm smile,"Hi Emberpaw let me think for a second? Clicking her tongue, she carefully thought of all the cats she had seen earlier. With exception of Tigestripe familiar pelt she didn't see him all day."I love solving mysteries, let me help you find him!"Palemouse leaped to her paws ready to lending helping paw to clients

Kitepaw's ears were pinned flat to his head as he stared at Brambleflower with wide eyes. Even after Dappleleaf gave him his instructions he hesitated, not wanting to leave his mother, but he forced himself to peel his eyes away. He darted off into the bushes, swinging his head around frantically as he searched for a stick that looked strong enough to take back to Dappleleaf and Brambleflower. His eyes immediately honed in on the end of a small branch sticking out from beneath a tree root, half-embedded in mud, and he bounded towards it, biting down hard on the end and pulling with all his strength. One, two, three! He tugged, hard, but the branch only moved slightly. Again! He dug his claws into the mud and heaved, his shoulders straining and hind paws scrabbling for a hold in the loose dirt. The stick came free with a breaking noise as it was ripped from beneath the roots, and Kitepaw stumbled backwards with it in his mouth. It seemed like he'd only pulled half of it out, considering the end that had been buried in the mud was jagged and broken, but it would have to do. With the stick clamped tightly between his jaws he ran back to their makeshift camp, and when he reached it he made a bee-line straight for his mother. "Dappleleaf, I found one!" he called out, his voice muffled by the branch between his teeth. He dropped the stick on the ground and pushed it towards Brambleflower.

Fennel and ragwort leaves. Fennel and ragwort leaves. Dappleleaf looked around frantically for the herbs she remembered receiving during her own kitting. She looked under every bush and behind every tree, but couldn't find anything. Finally, as she was about to give up and make do with just the stick, she spotted both herbs beneath a towering maple tree. "Thank Starclan!" she murmured, racing towards the herbs. Once they were collected, she dashed back to Brambleflower's side. "Great work, Kitepaw," Dappleleaf mewed as she spotted the stick. She also noticed Hollycloud had returned with water-soaked moss. "Brambleflower, chew these." She pushed forward the nipped off ragwort leaves, then a fennel stalk. "Drink the juice from this stalk, too." I hope I'm remembering this correctly... She took a step back and lowered herself onto her stomach. "All we can do now is wait."

Emberpaw tilted her head to the side when, hiding a slight flinch at the sudden movement. Part of her wanted to say he was probably out on a patrol or hunt and this wasn't that big of a mystery but honestly Palemouse looked quite excited to try to solve this mystery. "Where do you think he might have gone?" She asked, taking a quick glance through the entrance of the warriors den to see if she saw any sign of other warriors-more specifically Tigerstripe.

Tigerstripe had been out hunting all morning, having noticed that the freshkill-pile wasn't looking particularly full. Ashpelt had left him in charge of patrols and he thought he'd done a rather swell job so far - he was keen to tell the older warrior everything when his patrol returned from their mission. Prey wasn't running too well, to be honest; Tigerstripe had only managed to catch two mice and a rather pitifully small bird, but he was determined to return to camp with something more impressive. He'd realised far too late that he'd forgotten about his apprentice, Emberpaw, whom he had promised to take training, and the thought had been prodding his mind for a while. I'll have to make it up to her when I get back, maybe I'll show her some advanced fighting moves, or show her the technique we used in the old Clan for hunting birds of prey that got too close to the camp.

Gritting her teeth through the pain, Brambleflower lapped up the herbs as Dappleleaf had instructed her to and began to chew them. She then obediently drunk from the stalk, trying to even out her breathing enough to let the liquid trickle down her throat without coming back up again. When Kitepaw approached, dragging a stick behind him, she all but snatched it from his gasp and bit down hard into the wood as another spasm wracked her body. This was not her first time kitting, but when Kitepaw and his sisters had been born she'd had the help of their medicine cat, and the comfort of the CedarClan nursery. Her brother had also been there, and he didn't leave her side for almost three days. She felt a rough tongue lapping at the fur between her ears and twisted her neck to see Kitepaw crouched beside her, and for a moment his dark tabby coat took on a golden hue, and her brother's eyes stared back at her.

Palmouse dipped her head as she entered the warrior den. Obviously there was no clear sign of the tabby warrior. It hadn't crossed her mind that Tigerstripe could be on patrol. She was too caught up in wanting to play detective. Padding toward one of the nest tucked in the back, she pressed her nose against it. Realizing the scent was faint, she replied over her shoulder,βI hate to admit it, but this mystery has a dead end, β she scoffed at her joke. Backing out the warrior den she added,βHe's most likely out on patrol doing the most since he was assigned as temporary deputy.β

Waterfur sighed.True,she'd had many encounters with Starclan.She and Brokennose had been thanked by the many they'd seen from their travels but she still didn't entirely think Starclan would be able to help them much is they were staying with the clan."Well,either way,the only prey we'll find here will be scrawny and has harder bones.They need to be tough to survive the lack of plants."She explained,not knowing whether they knew this already or not and not particularly caring."The gorge next to Groveclan showed us that much."

{Sorry I was at a friends then passed out ; - ; Smokey I hope wifi fixes soon! }
Snaketooth noticed Dappleleaf rushing to Brambleflower and his eyes grew wide. He wasn't sure what was going on but if he had to guess those kits weren't waiting on them to reach camp. "If I need to run and go get something, I can!" The silver tom offered, trying to calm himself. He wasn't the one having kits, why should he be worried? Because you've never actually seen a queen kit. He told himself, padding a bit closer but making sure to keep his distance so the cats who would be more help can help.

Flintfur followed Icebreeze, just so he'd have someone to talk to. "There's not a doubt in my mind those kits won't turn out strong and handsome or beautiful." He looked to the nursery again, wondering if he should bring Cloudsplash some fresh-kill. He shook his head and once again decided he should let her rest while she could. "How are you settling in as a warrior?"

Seedpaw trotted along merrily behind her mentor and Waterfur, unfazed by the rather intimidating drop below them. She had never struggled with heights, and travelling up the mountain never bothered her even though she'd only done it once or twice before while looking for certain herbs, and never gone terribly high. I'm just glad there's no deep water or anything up here, I'd hate that. "Do you think StarClan will speak to us when we find what we're looking for?" she piped up. She had never seen a StarClan cat herself, and the one strange dream she'd had that she thought might've been from StarClan had turned out not to be.

After a while of absolutely no luck, Tigerstripe was forced to admit defeat. He returned to the small clearing where he'd buried the mice and the bird that he'd caught earlier, keen to return to camp. It took him a short while to figure out how on earth he was going to hold all of his prey, but after a little time to think he was on his way back to camp with the mice and bird in his jaws. He'd tried not to go too far out, in case he was needed back at camp as stand-in deputy, so the walk was not terribly long. He poked his head into the mouth of the cave and scanned the camp, squinting in the half-light and into the darkness of the back walls. He spotted Emberpaw and Palemouse hanging around by the warriors' den and wondered if perhaps his apprentice was looking for him. He made his way quickly to the freshkill-pile and deposited his catch there before trotting over to see what was going on. "Looking for me?" he called out as he approached, a grin creeping onto his face.
