Blazestorm finished his grooming and stood up, stretching. He saw Badgerpaw and stood up, padding over. "Hey, Badgerpaw. You up for some training?"

Badgerpaw thought for a small amount of time and mewed,"You could do whatever you want since your the mentor." The tom smiled at him and flicked his tail and licked his paw.

Sweetbrook, slowly stretching as she rose from her nest, permitted an inaudible yawn to escape her. Casting her gaze around her, she noticed that she had slept far past the time she had intended to wake. Swiftly and carefully, she rose to her paws and exited the warriors' den. Squinting her eyes slightly at the change sudden change of light, the she-cat slowed her pace for a few heartbeats. However, due to this, she did not notice the disheveled state that her fur was currently in.

Flamefoot felt his muscles tense due to being sitting for quite a long time. Slowly, he stretched out his front paws, his claws fully unsheathing and digging slightly into the ground. While he did enjoy the quiet and being able to collect his thoughts, doing it for long stretches of time did bring about a sense of boredom, unfortunately.

Sweetbrook paused for a few seconds when she heard the greeting, allowing her eyes a period to adjust, before returning the greeting. When they finally did, a heartbeat or two later, she meowed, "H-Hello, Hawkfeather." She had seen the tom a few times before, yet she had managed to avoid any serious contact. Her timid nature had always created such a issue, but she, according to herself, had managed to work with the tools at her disposal.

The she-cat nearly jumped when he purred, simply unused to the sound and caught off-guard. Taking a heartbeat to calm her rapid heartbeat, she finally softly replied, "No, nothing's wrong." As she answered, to appear a bit more friendly and open, she sat down beside him, maintaining a mouselength of space between them. Raising a paw, she began to groom her face and ears. This action was also to ensure her still accelerating heartbeat slowed into its normal rhythm.

She paused in her grooming at this, surprised enough to forget her reason for being timid. "Really?" She inquired, her whiskers twitching slightly in both interest and amusement. While she had been hunting and patrolling a few times, by herself and in a small group, she had never come face to face with the other clan's cats in such a situation.

Sweetbrook felt a slight smile form on her lips at his response, however, when he shifted his positioning, she began to groom herself once more. Once more, the weight of her timid nature hit her much like a precise paw to the cheek would. However, the uncomfortable sensation she felt when first confronted by the tom had eased slightly. "So, what did you do to the trespasser?"

She felt slightly relieved at this, for she found unnecessary bloodshed or violence quite unneeded. While there was a call to protect the clan's borders, she felt a stern word or harsh gaze was enough to settle the issue most of the time. So long as the message came across clear and direct, the incident would not occur for a second time. "I'm sure she learned her lesson well enough from that," came her reply, which carried a hint of relief and slight praise.

Upon the sudden noise, her gaze rested on him for a few heartbeats before she rose one of her forepaws and attempted to groom the back of her head, where her long-fur commonly clumped together. "True," came her soft reply and she seemed she wanted to continue but left the single word hanging in the air instead.

Since Sweetbrook had not contributed to the fresh kill pile yet, she found his offer a good way to begin. "Sure," she replied as she slowly got to her paws and gave her long-furred pelt a gentle shake, allowing it to settle naturally. "Where do you want to hunt?"
