Silentflame looked at Hawkfeather, tilting her head. "Yes?" She responded quietly, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. "What do you want?" Hostility was clearly in her voice, but she didn't show it on her face.

"Oh." Silentflame mewed, lowering her head to grasp the thorn in her jaws, then pulling it out quickly. She rubbed the tiniest bit of some chewed-up marigold on just to prevent infection.

Silentflame snorted. "All right then." A small chuckle escaped her mouth. "You must have gotten a thorn removed before, so I don't understand your pain at all. Sorry." She mewed, looking to the entrance of the den and wondering if it was sunny outside.

Silentflame shrugged and didn't respond, but decided to speak at the last moment. "What did you catch on your hunt?" She asked, even though she usually wasn't one to start a conversation.

Silentflame nodded thoughtfully, then heard some commotion outside of the den and peeked out to look. "Is there a rogue in the camp at the moment?" I'm going to look." She mewed firmly, leaving Hawkfeather inside the den to either follow or stay. There was a slightly more prominent limp in her leg that day, but she didn't care very much. "Who in the name of Starclan is that tom?" She asked spitefully, not expecting an answer.

Silentflame shook her head. "Who even is he? Why should a random cat be allowed into Hazeclan..?" She queried grumpily, the usual annoyed expression returning to her face. After that, she said no more and narrowed her eyes at Clover, as everyone seemed to call him.

Blazestorm flicked his tail and sneered,"Why don't you ask Streamstar. They had a private conversation." He lashed his tail once. Silentflame's eyes widened. "That's absolutely crazy!" She practically yowled. "That is, not Streamstar, but the situation." She added in a quieter tone, looking a bit embarrassed. "That rogue better not be joining our clan... He'll have a hard time from me." Silentflame spoke like a grumpy elder, but didn't care at all. |
