I'm gunna actually catch up on the series and read all the books I haven't read yet- well, most of them I guess. I've been contemplating it for a while but I think I'm actually gunna do it. The last book I read- well, sorta read, more like brushed through it- was The Last Hope (I might actually read through it fully just to get a better grasp on it).
I'm gunna start with AVOS and just see how it goes from there. If I make it through, I'll go back to DOTC. I'm probably not going to read less necessary ones like Tallstar's Revenge and Mapleshade's Vengeance- but if I get the chance I'll read some of the others as well that aren't directly connected to the main series.
But yeah, idk why I've suddenly had a change of heart. I've always stubbornly felt confident enough chatting about the series purely based on spoilers (tho I still do tbh), and just kinda ignored all the stuck up people who claim people like me have no right to talk about the series if I haven't read it. Which I still think isn't true.
But if TBC is the last series- which it might, might not, idk- I'd like to finish it off having read it. All of it- or at least as much as I feel necessary. It just feels right for me personally.
Not only that, but even though I tend to be able to discuss things well enough here, I think reading more of it would give me more ideas and topics to discuss about. And maybe talk about the differences I found between just hearing about what happened vs seeing the specifics.
Plus I've gotten to a more financially stable place so I can possibly actually afford all these books oof
But yeah, let's see how it goes I guess. I'm honestly kinda excited and more motivated than I thought I would be.
