Hi! So I've made the lore and thread designs for a 2-clan roleplay, Forestclan and Fireclan. I'd like help from some other RPers, specifically one who'd like to manage/own one of the clans.
So a quick run-through of the clans' lore...they're basically enemies living in the same forest, with one half of the forest being charred and in ruin from a long-ago fire. Forestclan controls the fertile half and Fireclan controls the burnt half.
I'm thinking of a history like... a cat is exiled from Forestclan territory to the burnt half of the forest (I'm thinking the reason of the exile is that they've renounced their faith to Starclan, and Forestclan is very spiritual and in-tune with Starclan), and a handful of other Forestclanners follow the exiled cat. They create Fireclan, named as such to embrace the burnt territory, thinking the harsh land makes them "stronger" than their "pampered" enemies. Now, because Fireclan has turned its back on Starclan, Leaders don't receive nine lives and medicine cats are simply healers with no spiritual affiliations. Ceremonies and just general clan culture are also different from the typical warrior clan as a result.
Fireclan and Forestclan are constantly feuding, even just the sight of each others' border patrols stirring tension. Forstclanners are generally passive and have an "above fighting" mindset to them. Fireclanners are more hostile and prone to starting altercations.
This dynamic, of course, can be a nice segway into various drama plots, like a Fireclanner receiving premonitions from Starclan but having to remain secret about it, forbidden love and half-bloods, heavy twoleg interference within the forest causing one clan to have to inch their borders onto the other clan's lands, etc.

hello! this sounds really interesting! im not sure if i could be a co-owner, but i could definitely be a mod/admin.
I really like the contrast of the clans. I think, to make it a bit more fair, fireclan cats could have trained themselves over time, and are now a fair bit bigger and stronger genetically, to combat forestclans sensibility and support from starclan.
(the map is great too)

this sounds really cool actually! i love the burned forest aesthetic ngl haha. like cashew, i probably couldn't co-own but i would 100% join one/both of them. you mentioned twoleg interference... it would be cool if they had to journey at some point like in the books and deal with each other, but that would be a huge plot to try to do.

ca$hew ⧉ that's a fair point, I'll include that ^_^ and thanks for the help! infernoMarshmallow oh yeah that'd be a huge transition, on a smaller scale i was thinking more like the lumber mill on the edge of fireclan territory deforesting what trees they have left. And forestclan is besides a horse field/farmhouse and has that summer cabin at the top of its territory, next to the mountain streams. Just encounters w them would be a nuisance and cause some disruption

i'd be very interested in participating, granted, i've never taken part in an rp on here! (though i have some experience with single-thread rps, so it should be fine...)
the setting is unique and overall could provide some really interesting plots - i'm super interested in the med cat in fireclan getting a premonitions from starclan!

uhh quite a bit tbh LOL introductions and territory descriptions,,,
speaking of territory, I did a little research and Forest Grove, OR looks like a nice contender for a real-life reference of the territory
Look at a real map of Forest Grove down below it totally looks like a WC map
the circle is where I think the clans would be, comparing it to the map I made (between a mountainous range and a small town)

that'd be great thanks!! After that, I'll also introductions. Forestclan's intro should reflect their traditional ways (wary of strangers, but not prone to attacking them; just telling them to back off unless they're injured), whereas Fireclan's intro should be more outsider-friendly and accepting of strays (persuading rogues and loners to join with the promise of food) because they had to make up their clan using loners and rogues lol.
speaking of fireclan, we still need to discuss the cultural differences. i've been in discussion w a friend off-site and she suggested that gems/crystals could play a role in the clan's culture? like leaders have a golden pendant they wear to project their rank, deputies have a silver, and medicine cats have a bronze. also apprentices have to travel to the abandoned mine and find a gem as a part of their final exams, which they will then take back to clan and present to the leader. maybe there can be like a stone in camp with a cranny where all the past apprentices' gems are deposited when they become warriors. it often shines brilliantly because of all the different colors and shapes.

that sounds really cool. if the apprentices go one by one, each clan could have an ancient piece of rock (thats actually an abandoned piece of steel or something) that they use to get the gems out of the cave?

Maybe the type of stones apprentices get could signify something? Like if you pick a certain stone it’s believed that it means something about what kind of warrior you’ll be?

ca$hew ⧉ I wouldn't make it too long. Brief is okay with me.
like, you can have two paragraphs. paragraph 1 is about the two clans history in general (this paragraph will be the same for both clans). but paragraph 2 focuses more on what that specific clan is like.
