Tell me your story!
For me, I was in my 5th grade class. Under my desk I saw a book with a cat on it beautifully titled "Outcast." I was never into reading, even going as far as to say I hated it. I was looking for the books in the school library one day, and I picked up Twilight and Eclipse only because I liked the title of the books. I read Twilight. I loved it. Then I realized I should probably buy the books in order, then started my dream to create a Warriors library XD

I was in 4th grade.
It was early in the morning before class started. I had already finished reading my library book for that week (a very short Winx comic, which I don't even think I read I just looked at the pictures), and I didn't feel like being stuck with it for the rest of the week so I asked a teacher if I could go to the library. I barely read as it was, so this wasn't common for me. The only books I ever read were for school, but even then I never fully paid attention to them and only looked at the pictures if there were any. As I was browsing around, I saw a cart of books that had just been returned sitting there. I saw a cat face on the spine of one of the books, which immediately caught my attention. I love cats, so I picked it up. It was The Darkest Hour. I'd never heard of Warriors before, and I don't think I even really planned to read it in full, but it had cats on it so I decided to check it out.
All of my friends immediately told me to return it and get something else, because they had heard Warriors wasn't very good. I decided to ignore them, and for the first time ever (at least that I can remember) I sat down and started voluntarily reading and I immediately loved it. I read the whole thing in a few weeks, which was a big deal to me because I had never really bothered to read a book before. From there on out, I was addicted. Ten years later, I'm still here.

When I was in middle school in 2006, I had to do a reading log. So while I looked in the school library for a book at my level, I saw one that was just around there, and that was the very first Warriors book: Into The Wild. I just thought, "Oh, a book about cats. Let's see how that goes." Time went on, and I started enjoying the book. Even after I left middle school, I bought more Warriors books (whether at a book store or online) and got some for Christmas and birthdays until 2016.
Sadly, I've recently pretty much renounced all affection for Warriors, but I still like reading the original arc or even the super editions once in a while.

I used to be Lion King fan, and while browsing "Not one of Us" song on Youtube, I found this classic video:
For a long time, I never bothered looking into what it was based on, but finally, I got curious and read the name "Warrior Cats" for the first time. Even then, I dismissed it until accidentally found the Into the Wild in my school library. And look where I am now.

I was in 4th or 5th grade. My best friends, who are sisters, shared my passion for reading, which is why we had a play date (more like browsing books date) at the library. While we were cruising the shelves, my friend started gushing about Warriors, describing the basic plot (explaining that there were four Clans and what their names were, etc.) They were talking really fast and I couldn't understand all of it so I just zoned out. A few months later, my younger sister reserved Into the Wild just for kicks. Now, we went to the library once a week, and in that time I would read my books and my brother and sister's twice, thrice, or even four times over. So, I read Into the Wild. I was hooked. I became a fanatic. Now I stopped at Shattered Sky for various reasons, but there are several books on the shelf I got for presents that I can't bear to part with, I'm on the site and love Warriors rps.

Long story short. My best friend/now-ex-girlfriend got me into it, even made the base of my fanclan for me (Name and leader design, but all the actual development was on my end). Also was introduced through Bluekyokitty's speedpaints through my sis at an earlier year or so, but I didn't really think much of it until the former dragged me in. lol Was into it for a while, but funnily enough never read the books at the time except the first half of ITW so I had NO knowledge of the universe and how everything worked whatsoever, and yet I rped it anyways. It's cringe to me now, my old RP days in the fandom. lol
Now at the end of December 2017 I was reminded by her of it again because she still draws her fan characters from it today and we go on about it in Discord nowadays, I decided to pick up the books, albeit starting from Fire and Ice instead of finishing the first book, and then the next, and the next, and I was hooked at that point.

It was the summer of '09.
I was browsing Balto AMVs on Youtube and eventually came across alikatnya's WOTF fan series. I was immediately hooked and once I watched them all, I started digging around the internet to get more info on it. First I discovered the other videos on YouTube like Flightfootwarrior, bluekyokitty and tribbleofdoom's animations, and eventually I found out it was a book series. A year or so later I tossed my hatred of books aside and begged my Mom to buy me the books. She then bought me all of the books including two of the SEs and I've been reading them since

i discovered it in possibly the weirdest way possible: toontown.
i was playing toontown and one of my friends asked if I could join her "clan" since they needed more members. she explained to me like, the basic premise (cats live in the woods, they fight and train, some cats get to train other cats as their apprentice, which is how i started out in their clan. i tried to go with "starpaw" and immediately she was like "no thats stupid") and then encouraged me to go buy the books or see if my library had them.
nothing ever came of that "clan" but i ended up reading the books and Loving them. then i tried and failed to read TNP and lost interest in warriors for many years.

I found Into the Wild in my 3rd grade library beat up and old. I read it and I loved it. And then I read the books seriously out of order. Which also means I haven't read Darkest Hour yet.

Came across a lot of Warriors AMVs/PMVs/MAPs, and for a while had no real idea of what the series was beyond the bits and bobs I picked up from MAPs. I think the first MAP I saw was either the "Gay or European" Firestar MAP or an Ashfur PMV? Was really confused as to what was going on in 'em, but I used to go to the library all the time back then, and discovered they had most of the series in stock. Went back and forth about reading them, I was reading PJO and had just picked up the Divergent series I think, but eventually I discovered Into the Wild and absolutely fell in love. I became obsessed, and read the four arcs in under a year. Got back into them again recently because my friend is reading through the series, and I just... I just had to read along with her.

It was either late in elementary school or in middle school (im 21 now!), where i saw my cousin reading Midnight at our grandparents house. i read the first couple pages, but then i realized i was missing plots and characters, so i went to the book store to look for midnight, and found the rest of the books up to that point. i ended up buying the ENTIRE first series and binge read them for a couple weeks

A friend introduced me to the series when we were both in middle school. I started reading Midnight and then went to Firestar's Quest. That was the time when I liked both ThunderClan and SkyClan (because of the uniqueness). I have been reading Warriors ever since.

I got into the series a lot later than most people, almost 18 in fact. That either says something of my tastes, or something of Warriors' charm. Anyway, I had read some of Redwall and a lot of Guardians of Ga'Hoole before, still at a later age than the target audience, so I was definitely into the genre that Warriors is in. I had heard of Warriors a longish time ago, it would sort of pass by my ear every other year. And then one day, when I was visiting family in America, I found out a friend used to read Warriors and had the whole original series. On a whim I accepted his offer to borrow them. It took me a bit to get into the first book, but once I got in I was IN. I don't remember how long it took me to finish Series 1, but it didn't take long at all but it also wasn't crazy like within a week which I've heard some people do. I tried to take a small break before starting Series 2, but once I got to it I DIVED IN again. I had an almost consistent Series per month, until Series 4 where I sort of majorly slowed down for various reasons. I finished Series 4 late last year, and am currently reading Series 5.

In second grade I went to a Barnes and Nobles with a friend. We both picked up Into the Wild (my parents made me get it). Never touched it, two years later I saw a friend reading Sunrise and I went to the class library and picked up Midnight. I was so damn confused but still read on. Then I remembered, I have the first book of the series. And here I am claiming murdrerous psycho cats as my children along with Ridley and Pit.

it was 2009 and i was big into youtube communities where we made amvs and such. so many people raved about warriors and set up pro boards forums so when i was next in a book shop (which wasn’t often so it was ironically on holiday) i bought the warrior books i could find: rising storm and moonrise. i started reading rising storm and was really enjoying it so decided to then read them in order. they were the first books i really read as prior to warriors i hated reading.

I think in around 2nd grade some of the kids in my class said I should read one of the Erin Hunter books. So I picked The Sun Trail: DoTC. I loved the series even when I found out that it was the prequel. I wasn't that fast of the reader so it took me a few year to finish The First Battle. As a kid it FREAKED me out! I stopped reading it for a while but one day I decided to get Into the Wild: TPB. That was about a year ago and I am now rereading DoTC and I'm glad I did because I missed so many things.

I was in 3rd grade and in the library at my school. We would go to the library every week and we were told that we needed to pick out one fiction book and one non-fiction book. I chose a non-fiction dinosaur book to pretend to read and searched around for a fiction book. And then I saw it, it was Rising Storm I believe and it was sitting on top of the book shelf and I was like "Cats. Must have." So I found the first book and started to read. I've always been a voracious reader, often getting my books taken away because I'd read it through classes. And that's exactly what I did, I got so invested I have read practically every single damn book except for Omen of the Stars and a bit of Power of Three.

I didn't like reading much, but I liked cats so I'd always look for cat books in the school library, one day I found warriors, I'm pretty sure it was Starlight and so I started reading it, not realizing that there was a first book. It didn't make sense to me so I gave up on reading it, so I chose another warriors book, which again didn't make sense. Finally, I found Into The Wild on audible and I really liked it so now I've read all the books. Also, The Erin's should make a warriors book with a tsunami! Then they like all get separated and have to find each other. That would be so cool!

4th grade. Warriors was the hottest series at my school. All of my friends were reading it. So I went to the library and picked up Fire and Ice. Got through a few chapters and didn't know what the heck was going on. So I gave up on it. A year later, I decided to try again and picked up Midnight. Became obsessed by chapter 2 and the rest is history.
