Mossystar loses yet another life to greencough but she and Heroneye hide it from the rest of the clan. She doesn’t even tell Marshsplash. Poppypaw, Brackenpaw, and Sneezepaw all get their warrior names. Sneezeflight quickly moves to the nursery expecting Mudbranch’s kits. All of Duskbreeze’s kits fostered or not are almost six moons. Both Sheepheart and Mistlewhisper are both ready to give birth any day now. Softmist and Lightmoss grow close. Cherrydash decides to spend the night in Heroneye’s den. They both claim it was because she twisted her paw. Brightheart just raised his eyebrows and continued on with his work. The elders are gossiping about Thistlestone and Cloverhawk getting together, but the two are proud cats who keep their heads held high. But the whole clan knows that she’ll soon be expecting his kits. Featherpelt asks Mossystar to receive Swirlkit as an apprentice. Mossystar replies affirmative but she’ll probably forget.

Mistlewhisper gives birth to her kits. The birth goes pretty smoothly, with one kit being named by Heroneye. Heroneye begins to develop feelings for Cherrydash. He tries to deny it himself, but Cherrydash says that it’s pointless hiding it from her. The two become mates in secret. Marshwave and Tawny are killed by rogues. Brine unexpectantly gives birth to a single she-kit, whom she names Ashkit. She tells the clan that Marshwave is the father (but the father is actually a rouge).
Mossystar takes out Brine and Bravepaw. But during their patrol, Brine unexpectantly leaps at the leader, she is swiftly killed and Bravepaw runs away tail between his legs. He rushes into camp and tells everyone what happened. Marshsplash sends out a patrol and they find Brine standing over the late leader’s body. The patrol took down Brine but not without consequences, Cal was killed and Breamtail now has a long scar across his face.
Bravepaw was the one who ultimately took down his former mentor so he is rewarded with his warrior name. Marshsplash, now Marshstar, chooses Breamtail as deputy. The tom humbly accepts, saying that he’s doing it for his kits and for Tawny.
Sheepheart and Sneezeflight both give birth to healthy litters.
Cherrydash realizes that she is expecting Heroneye’s kits. But she decides not to tell him for now.

(At least save a litter for me, or some warriors to name smh. I’m gonna take away one of the litters cause I can’t add all this to the family tree- and it would mean its above three events :/)
Cal returns to the Clan a couple days later. They seem surprised by his reappeance from the dead, but happy all the same.
Cherrydash ponders on wether to tell Heroneye about the kits. When she enters the den, he notices she is expecting kits and lets it slip to Brightheart.
Cherrydash’s kit news spread like wildfire. Although she refuses to say.
Glow is killed, along with Thistlestone in the night. The Clan is unsure what happened, but Mistlewhisper is sure she saw a flicker of fire in the night.

(Just needed to kill off a couple of cats before we could have so many new introductions into the Clan)
Sneezeflight has her kits. One named after Mossystar, another her brother Stormpaw and Mudbranch picks Harekit.
Cherrydash begins to get annoyed at the amount of cats asking her who the father is. She moves into the medicine den, wanting to calm her nerves. There together, they plan kit names. Heroneye immeadiately suggests Wheatkit. Although Cherrydash has no idea what to do. Josh and Cal become warriors.

The sickness has now infected just about every cat in the clan. Heroneye and Brightheart are working day and night to help heal the cats. Softmist's leg wound got infected and now she's confined to the medicine den. Harekit, Frostkit, Creampelt, Swirlpaw, and Brackentuft all succumb to the terrible sickness and Marshstar loses a life. Breamtail, weakened by the sickness, decides to retire and Lightmoss succeeds him. Cloverhawk decides to move to the nursery and Petaltuft learns she is expecting Cal's kits.

Heroneye is attacked by a fox while out gathering herbs and he loses an eye. This spooks Goosewing and she run away. But Tobi tracks her down and gently brings her back.
Birdpaw and Smokepaw become warriors. Sootpaw had injured himself during his training session and needed a few days to heal.
Ashkit is apprenticed and Mistlewhisper stays in the nursery to help the other queens.

Another blow of fire is seen by Mistlewhisper. Heroneye begins to get distracted and worries for his mate, revealing she is expecting his second litter.
Now, the Clan wonder who her mate is yet she refuses to say. Poppyleaf buts in and says the kits are his. However, Cherrydash wants to keeps the kits father a secret, and runs away from Poppyleaf. Palekit, Mosskit And Stonekit become apprentices.

Poppyleaf is frustrated at Cherrydash for not wanting to be his mate. He catches her running out the territory. Due to the amount of stress, she goes into kitting. Sadly, she dies during the kitting from blood loss and a kit, her only son dies with her. She names him Heronkit before she dies. Poppyleaf is overwhelmed by this. He names the kits after what he thinks Cherrydash would’ve wanted. Just as he is about to name the third kit, Heroneye butts in and names it. Poppyleaf begins to suspect wether he is the father of the kits.

(Otterfoot’s a medicine cat lol) Twolegs are scented around the camp, and a weird coloured liquid is accidentally spilt near the camp. Mistlewhisper has a panic attack, seeing flickers of Fire now around Cherrydash’s daughters. She confides in Heroneye, who worries deeply. Just then,the camp explodes into bursts of flames, with Heroneye trapped behind rubble. Poppyleaf is close enough to reach him, but the tom traps Heroneye even further by cornering him. The Clan question what he is doing, fearful. Poppyleaf screeches that Heroneye was Cherrydash’s mate, and Cherrydash never loved him. The tom, however, doesn’t notice a piece of flaming debris heading for him, Heroneye knocks it out the way, which kills him. Poppyleaf dies later, due to burns. In the fire, ones to pass away are Bravefire, Softmist, Sootstorm, Sneezeflight and Marshstar loses a life.
