Hailstorm was elected deputy but was abandoned to handle it alone while Owlstar fell into Twist's grasp. The weight of the clan fell onto him and he could no longer handle it so he resigned. As soon as Owlstar went missing he was struck with guilt and his duty to work hard so he pushed himself to find his leader that he lost, and is still searching.

I may be biased but currently going by cutest I think Cherryleaf and Rockshard get the win. Both of them started out so shy and by complete fate the two slowly fell for each other. They caused each other to bloom like flowers and no matter what they are always leaning against one another and giving support. Cherryleaf fighting to protect Rockshard even despite her fear and him going out of his way to make her comfortable. Them playing in the leaves together, they are truly the most wholesome in my mind.

All of them are so cute but honestly Rockshard and Cherryleaf. Almost every interaction they have is so nice and her helping him out when he couldn't see. They just have super good interactions.

I think Owlstar will return back stronger than ever, not only did he regain his clan but he made a friend in the process. He knows he has the support of Hailclan at his side and a clan that can withstand anything, he won't have any choice but to be strong. He may be much more suspicious of outsiders, I doubt many will get opportunity to join the clan for moons to come.

probably a bit ashamed or upset with himself, maybe even a shell of his former self or the complete opposite. Maybe he comes back with a stronger sense of leadership and is ready to try again tho I think even then maybe he'd still be upset with himself idk.

I think the next event will involve Hailclan in some way, or in fact Dustpaw who is still hidden in the gorge patiently awaiting his arrival to the clan. I know many cats will be divided over both events depending on who they all lost with the rogues and how much they trust Owlstar.
I think the next big plot will involve Hailclan though I may be biased in my information but with a new clan some of the members of Sunclan may feel that they owe Hailclan if the clan does decide to help. Not all Hailclan cats are nice as well and may believe that they are owed something, which could put a strain on Icestar and Owlstars new friendship.
