I think the cover for Squirrelflight's Hope is utterly gorgeous! A thrilling stand-alone adventure in Erin Hunterโs #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series! The five Clans are finally settled into their new territories around the lakeโbut not every leader is satisfied. And when the other Clans pin their frustrations on a group of rogue cats discovered just beyond Clan boundaries, Squirrelflight is caught between her duty as ThunderClanโs deputy and her desire to do whatโs right. Bonus! Also includes an exclusive Warriors manga short story. Erin Hunterโs #1 bestselling Warriors series continues! Discover more epic adventures in the second book in this seventh action-packed story arc. When the ThunderClan leader, Bramblestar, starts to behave oddly after losing one of his nine lives, suspicion quickly spreads across Clan borders. And after a strange apparition causes unrest in SkyClan and ShadowClan, each warrior must decide where their allegiances lieโwith their Clan, or the warrior code itself. Each hardcover in The Broken Code series also includes a double-sided jacket with a bonus poster!

I love Squirrelflight on the cover! Although the green does look weird with the purple, at least itโs not some version of silver again.
The cat on The Silent Thaw just looks like a big angry face.

OK im interested
silent thaw sounds rly good. and I do like the artwork. for some reason, I had a weird (and nonsensical) fear that they would recycle old Squirrelflight art for her cover but thank god that didnt happen lol. she's not as fluffy as she should be, but thats fine.
I like the silent thaw's cover better than lost stars. The yellow is a little strange though, it looks like 4th of july sparklers. I can't tell if the background is supposed to be on fire or if its just special effects to make it more dramatic.
actually now that I'm looking at it more closely, does the cat on the right look like a ghost? It looks see through, and its not casting a shadow. its hard to tell tho

I knew Squirrelflight's Hope had to do with a rogue group! (Excuse me, but I'm just ecstatic that my theory was partially correct.) The Silent Thaw's description is intriguing. If rumors are to be believed and that Lost Stars has the single stand alone POV then this book should probably introduce the next POV of the arc, presumably in ThunderClan.
On another note, the covers are gorgeous. (Hey, at least Squirrelflight was drawn differently than the previous SEs recently and you can see less of the white muzzle.)

I never thought I'd see the day when they would use black or green for a SE, these sound exciting!!! I love the cover, and I don't want to criticize the artist because.... I can't draw like that. But, Squirrelflight's body does look a little odd to me, like she doesn't have a neck. It still looks wonderful though.

Could it be..? That the warrior code might actually be questioned like the series title says so??? Oh my I might allow myself to get a bit excited now.
Still skeptical but now cautiously excited. They could still very likely pull another obviously evil cat to try to destroy the warrior code but I still have hope that it wonโt.

Those really are two beautiful covers, omg My girl Squirrelflight is so pretty?? This is probably the weirdest thing ever to be paying attention to, but I love the way her ears are drawn- they're adorable!
That being said, I'm definitely interested in where The Broken Code is going to go! The blurb hooked me in.

This may actually be the first time I've ever been truly excited for a Warriors book since probably DotC. I love how they've given the cover for the SE a slightly new design, and Squirrelflight looks kind of adorable.
At least we now know that Bramblestar doesn't die at the end of SH, though I'm guessing he might in ST, or at least sometime in this arc. I'm calling it now, he's probably being possessed! Either that, or some sort of illness or his age affecting him. I'm hoping it's the possession thing, since that's at least never been done before. And more problems involving ShadowClan and SkyClan... Normally I'd groan, but I'm so interested by the plot that I'm hoping it's worth it.
And... wait, what's this? The warrior code is actually being questioned? This is probably the one where I'm most cautiously excited for the most, because the code has been questioned several times in the series, but it's usually by antagonists who have some sort of hidden agenda or rebellious young cats who end up conforming with the Clans' ideals anyway.

While SfH's blurb still doesn't excite me at all (seriously what's the point of having a book about a character who's arc is already over), TST sounds super interesting. Can we also please take a moment to appreciate how the blurb doesn't give away anything important that might have happened in LS? I love that
(also may I ask where you got all this from?)

FINALLY a SE cat cover art without the same sameface angry ears back pose and NO WHITE MUZZLE!
Also who's the cat with the blue eyes in TST's cover? The only ginger cat w/ blue eyes I can remember existing is Flametail... Hmm... Rootpaw maybe? Plus Bramblestar FINALLY loses a life? I wonder how "strange" he acts per-say after losing it. It does seem like there's a ghost in that cover's bottom though.
And FRICKING FINALLY the code is being questioned. Hopefully it's not akin to how that ended up being in the first half of AVoS. If Needletail comes back I'm gonna scream...

tbh theyโre probably gonna start questioning the โLeaderโs word is lawโ code, the โno mates from another clanโ code and the medicine cats taking mates thing. Which will either be interesting or ugly carbon copies of DoveTiger and LeafCrow...

Hm, the ghostly cat on the bottom right of the cover of The Silent Thaw somehow reminds me of Sol from the reprinted cover of Eclipse. Namely the pose and their facial expression look a bit similar... Probably just a coincidence anyway...

I love how Squirrelflight looks, but I wish she was just a bit more fluffy. Her face just looks a tiny bit strange. The blurb isn't too exciting to me though, it just sounds like the typical SE. I'm a tad bit tired of the cats always having to travel somewhere now, and it sounds like that's exactly what she's going to do.
The Silent Thaw cover is beautiful, and that blurb sounds amazing! I can't wait for that book to come out, and I can't wait to see how Bramblestar acts 'oddly.'
Seriously though, I haven't really been interested in Warriors for a long time, and AVoS almost made me want to quit reading it. This new series sounds really good though, I hope it turns out as good as I hope.

Maybe when Bramblestar talks to StarClan while heโs losing his life, they tell him something really disturbing that he doesnโt know how to take or explain to anyone- hence why he acts strange. Or maybe heโs upset with them and their response didnโt satisfy him. Could be really basic or really radical information, weโll just have to see. Blurbs are known to blow things out of proportion anyways- it could just be Bramblestar upset that bad things are happening and StarClan annoyed him, hasn't been the first time that's happened anyways.

Mention Skyclan and Shadowclan, so I guess that we will have indeed have pov there, and because it's an apparition, Shadowkit/paw and a Tree relative will be involved probably(I hope so).

Wow im dumb. Itโs gonna be a phantom/ghost cat persuading Shadowkit to continue doing stupid things in Shadowclan. Probably Sol or some dumb crap. Or Needletail trying to be relevant with her garbage ass.

I really donโt like the new art, but The Silent Thaw is one of the absolute worst. That cat looks like it should be in Shrek.

OOOOOOOOOH I love both of them, they're amazing!!! :-D (Look how tempted Owen Richardson was to give Squirrelflight a completely white muzzle ... thank you for resisting the urge, dude :-P )
I wonder if the cat on the cover of The Silent Thaw is Rootpaw! (Whoever it is, they better have blue eyes in the book, given how apparent they are on the cover. Least we get another Dovewing-scenario. xD )

More thoughts:
I am somewhat bummed by the description of Squirrelflight's super edition ... sounds, inconsequential? Like a little side-journey that's not going to add much to the narrative, with a protagonist we already know well. Ex: Bramblestar's Storm. But I hope it turns out to be a lot more exciting than I'm expecting it to be. (I gotta say I really miss backstory super editions like Crookedstar's, Bluestar's, Tallstar's.)
I hope Bramblestar's being possessed by a ghost or one is haunting him that he can only see like it suggests. :-P YAY POSSESSIONS/HAUNTINGS.

That's pretty much what I was trying to go for when I mentioned Bramblestar possibly being possessed in my own post. And even if he isn't, Ashfur is almost certainly involved somehow.

Okay, here are my thoughts on all this although everything's been said already probably. I honestly wasn't expecting this for another few days, so this is a nice surprise.
SH: What an absolutely gorgeous cover. Black and green color combo! I was worried they'd end up reusing old one. Squirrelflight looks awesome. NO. WHITE. MUZZLE!!! There is a God! Oof, she doesn't look real happy though. As for the blurb...just seems...I dunno, odd to me? This doesn't seem like something that needs a Super Edition. I was hyped again after the "New territory." tease but now that we know this is what it meant...I'm skeptical. And just when I had warmed up to the idea of her getting an SE too...
TST: First thought on the cover- wow, that cat looks angry. I like it. Orange with blue eyes? Huh. inb4 it's Rootpaw Seriously though, love the style of the covers now and the floating cat heads. I hope they keep it up. And the cat is pretty cute. Even though she looks like she wants to hurt me. (I don't know why I'm using she. I just have a feeling.) The background art is absolutely gorgeous as well. I just love that they're putting actual effort into the covers once more. Is that cat on the bottom a ghost? If so, it's most likely Ashfur. Not sure who's next to him..maybe Shadowkit/paw? Not sure. But again, the foresty background is stunning. I love it. As for the blurb: they called it the seventh arc!!! Yes!!! Thank you for acknowledging DOTC's existence. No mention of the main character still? But why? They're being secretive about it on purpose. But why? I guess we'll have to wait until March to find out when we get the Lost Stars blurb. Watch it be who everyone thinks it is. Bramblestar behaving oddly after loosing one of his nine lives- okay, this is REALLY interesting. This is a theory I've had for a while, and looks to be actually coming true. Bramblestar looses a life, and it seems Ashfur's spirit hijacks his body somehow. This is sweet! So this definitely means that Bramblestar is the "beloved leader" in the LS blurb, as most seemed to think. Makes you wonder how he lost this life, and how many more he has left. And at what point exactly he gets possessed. Maybe it's a cliffhanger ending for LS. Something tells me he won't make it through the arc. "suspicion quickly spreads across borders" Huh. I wonder if ThunderClan ends up being the "BadClan" of this arc, instead of ShadowClan? Maybe it's just wishful thinking. "And after a strange apparition causes unrest in SkyClan and ShadowClan, each warrior must decide where their allegiances lieโwith their Clan, or the warrior code itself." What does Ashfur want with SkyClan and ShadowClan? What exactly is he plotting? So it sounds like we're getting SkyClan and ShadowClan POVs, but not ThunderClan. Interesting. I really hope TC are the antagonists of the arc.
Well, I was cautiously excited before, but now, I'm fully on the TBC hype train. I have not been this hyped since DOTC. I am not disappointed by this news. The Bramblestar stuff especially has me excited. Bring it on, March! I need that LS sample, and April 8 can't come fast enough.

Ooh, those are some amazing covers! I can't figure out who the cat on the cover of TST is though, so I'm just going with Rootpaw since we don't have a description for this cat yet. But is the forest on fire? Or is it just a trick of the light? One of those cats on the bottom of the cover looks a little like a ghost. No shadow and seemingly see-though. Can't see the eye colour or tell what the pelt colour is. I think the other cat is black.
Squirrelflight's Hope sounds interesting. I wonder who the rogues are and why the Clans will be pinning their frustrations on them. Kate said that the time gap between TRS and LS is three or four moons, so it probably isn't a very long SE. SD wasn't either, though. Clovertail never gave birth to her kits.
It sounds like Bramblestar is indeed the "beloved Clan leader" mentioned in the LS blurb. I wonder what it means by he started acting oddly. Either "Bluestar odd" or possession like was mentioned above. A ghost is going to be bothering SkC and ShC.
