Scar's ears flicked when she heard Corn's voice break in through her thoughts. "Meet Snow? Oh, um, okay. I'll let him know." That seemed like an odd request, though Scar had never had any friends before, beside the older tom, so maybe that was a normal thing? "Or, we could probably go find him once your paws scab over." She didn't want to move while Corn was bleeding. It would give too easy of a trail to follow.

There was a nice rock there, perfect for sunbathing. His two-legs hadn't left yet, though he had heard something about that happening. He had offered what little help her could, even giving some cats who asked food from his own bowl. After all, he would want somecat to do the same for him if he's two-legs ever left, which was unlikely considering how much they seemed to love him. Though, then again, all the pets seemed to be loved by their two-legs. He forced those thoughts out of his mind. He didn't want to feel sad on such a great day.

Corn nodded in agreement. "That sounds good. After all, I'm not sure i we would be able to find each other as I don't know where you're staying nd this place can be a maze to newcomers."

"I know you meant moons. I'm just surprised someone so young is out in the wild." He explained before looking at each of his paws and nodding. "Looks like my paws are pretty much scabbed over, I'll just need to be careful with them."

"Oh..." She pushed herself up to her paws, giving a nod as he updated her on his paws. "Alright, follow me." She let him to the south corner of the house, where another tree grew. The dogs had stopped barking, but they wouldn't be able to see them from here. She jumped to the tree, the branch was nearly touching the roof so it wasn't hard and carefully climbed down from branch to branch until she had to dig her claws into the bark and lower herself down the trunk. She'd done it countless times before, but that didn't stop her heart from pounding. Once she was down, she waited for Corn. As soon as he paws were on the ground, she started off down the street, toward the edge of the two-leg place. Snow and she were staying in a large tree about a hundred feet into the forest. It was just far enough to be safe, and just close enough to make it not so much of trek.

Corn followed, grinding his teeth against the pain as he made his way down the tree, feeling one of the scabs break open. When he got to the ground he licked at it, stopping any blood before it could star and he kept the paw raised just in case.

Scar noticed Corn slow his pace so he could favor his paw. She slowed down as well, though she hated to. Despite all of her talk, and all of her knowledge of hiding places, she still didn't feel comfortable on the ground. She relaxed quite a bit when the made it into the forest, her fur lying flatter than it had since they were on the roof. "Snow?" Scar called when they approached the large tree, with a whole the size of a den underneath the roots. A large, handsome tom stepped out.

"And company. Hello." He seemed good natured, unlike his smaller companion. Though, she hadn't been very mean to Corn, the larger tom knew how mean the she-cat could be. "I'm Snow. Are you alright?" He approached the smaller tom, his deep blue eyes scanning over him. He could smell blood, though it didn't seem very fresh, and Corn was obviously limping.

Corn nodded to the tom respectfully. "Hello, you must be Snow. I'm Corn. Scar here helped me get away from some dogs." He smiled softly before looking down at his paws and showing Snow the underside of one. "I was running from them for a few hours so my paw pads got torn up pretty bad by the asphalt is all. Nothing too serious."

Scar looked down at her paws, knowing that Snow was looking at her questioningly for a moment. She remained silent as the two toms talked.

"Scar saved you from dogs? I'm sorry to hear about your paws. There's some burdock root near by, if you would like some. It will help sooth the pain and help them heal faster." He offered. Snow had a mild knowledge of medicine, his mother had known the plants around the farm well enough and had taught them to him.

( Sure!)
Ice prowled through the undergrowth, thankful that the thick vegetation helped to hide her white fur. Her ears flicking every so often as she tried to listen for prey. Her paws barely making noise as she cautiously looked for any signs of prey. Ice's movement stopped when she heard the soft cooing of a bird sitting a few mouse lengths away. Slowly dropping into a hunters crouch, she stalked towards the bird, stopping every few heartbeats. Once she was close enough, the she-cat lunged forward and with a swift bite to the neck she killed it.
---------------------
" Oh dear." A confused voice mewed. A ginger and cream colored she cat looked around nervously, her tail tip twitching worriedly as she looked around the unfamiliar two leg dens. Lulu paced around, as if trying to retrace her steps. The young she-cat let out a defeated sigh, and sat down. It was clear that she didn't realize she had been abandoned by her two legs, but that still didn't stop her from trying to find them.

Salt sat in the garden of a two-leg den. A tom had dropped him off there a few days before after his original two-legs had abandoned him. Noww, these two-legs had done the same too and the 3 moon old kit cried out softly, unsure if anyone could even hear him and so help him. The den he was at was near the edge of the two-leg place by a small set of forest that appeared before a large thunderpath.

"I'll get it." Scar offered, and hurried off before either tom could say anything. She wasn't used to being around more than one cat at a time, and it was surprisingly anxiety inducing to the young she-cat. She found the root easily, Snow had showed it to her when they past it last. She grabbed a bit of it and brought it back to Corn and Snow. She promptly lay down and started to chew the root into a pulp.

His whiskers twitched in amusement. "So, you're a kitty pet?" Snow asked, noting the collar around the smaller tom's neck. "How is that? I noticed that the two-legs have been leaving. I'm not sure if that's normal or not." Snow had stayed away from other animals, so he hadn't been able to ask. He was pretty surprised that Scar, out of any cat ever, had been the one to bring someone that she had saved back.

Corn let out a sigh and hunched down, tuning his gaze away from the other. "My two-legs were one of the first to leave. It's not normal, they're leaving yes but... they're also leaving all their stuff behind, even us."

Ice lifted her head, the faint sound of crying catching the young she-cat attention. Without skipping a beat, she picked up her catch and followed after the sound. Keeping a brisk pace, the she-cat eventually came to a small cluster of Two-legs nets, all seeming to look abandoned. Ice , no longer hearing the noise that seemed to lure her hear, softly called out. " Hello?" she called out, waiting for either a response or another cry.

Ice hear the voice, and picked up her bird before following after the voice once again. She quickly made her way towards the garden, and easily scaled the fence and hopped into the garden bellow. Her gaze cautiously scanning the area around her, as she tried to look for the body of the voice she had heard.

The tortoiseshell tom raised his head when he heard the distraught voice of a cat that he didn't recognize. Skipper pushed himself to his paws as he looked around until he spotted her. "Hello, is something wrong?" He asked, stepping forward. He could already guess her plight, but he didn't want to. He didn't want to imagine that yet another pet had been abandoned.

"Weird... I wonder if there's something wrong with the area that the two-legs had to leave without you." Snow mused, but he didn't really know anything. Even less than the animals of the area, after all. "Well, maybe they'll return." He offered. Snow had been raised on a farm, with two-legs that cared for him and his family, though he never actually considered himself a pet, as for the most part they hunted their own food and took care of themselves. Nonetheless, he understood why a two-leg could mean to a cat.

Corn nodded and held out his paw one at a time. He wuld wince when Scar first applied the muck but soon the stin would fade. After he thought for a while, the cornsilk colored tom stood and turned to look back in the direction of the two-leg place. "I have a feeling that this all is only just beginning. Something is going to happen and all of us need to be ready, even passerbys such as you two."
He turned back to them, a far away look in his eyes. "My siblings, when they were dying, said that they saw something, our parents. Thing is, our parents died early on in life and so the comment confused me. Then I saw them, standing there but also, not there as they were see through. It was odd but they spoke to me. They said in unison that danger was coming and all must be saved." Corn shook his head and his eyes seemed to focus once more. "Sorry, I'm probably freaking you out or sounding crazy.

The young she-cat finished putting the root pulp on the tom's paws and then backed away, licking her fur to get the taste of the root off of her tongue. She wished there was a puddle or something close by. At the warning, she paused for a moment, eyes going to Corn. Why would passerybys need to worry about something? That just seemed... odd
As the corn-silk tom started to speak of his siblings death, and the vision of his parents, Scar looked to Snow, confused. Then shrugged as her friend met her gaze, shaking her head as if to say 'I don't know'. Then turned her attention back to Corn. "Yeah, that was a little weir-." Snow cut her off.

The snow-cloud colored tom watched the other cat, tilting his head to the side as he spoke ominously. As he relayed the information about his dead siblings and parents so blatantly, Snow turned his attention to Scar, eyebrows furrowed in confusion and discomfort. She shrugged and he shrugged back, turning his attention back to Corn. Then Scar spoke and the large tom knew he would have to jump in. "No, I used to hear stories of cats that had prophecies or were visited from dead cats. I thought they were just myths, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there were cats who could do that."

Corn looked at the tom in surprise, his mind working to catch up with what he had just told them. "Really? So... you believe me?" He let out a sigh and visibly relaxed as he was filled with relief. "I thought you would think I was crazy." He let out a small chuckle before looking back up at Snow with determination in his eyes. "You seem like the kind of cat to know what to do in pressured situations. What should I do about all the cats being left behind in two-leg place? To make sure they all stay safe."

Scar looked at Snow, wrinkling her nose a bit as he a reinforced the other tom's illusion. What the heck? Though, maybe...just maybe, Snow had actually heard something about cats who could do those things. He had never told her about them. Her eyes widened when Corn asked his question. After all, Scar was a kit by most standards. She was five and a half moons old, though she tried to present herself as older, and granted she had a few skills and was good at thinking on her feet. But she had honed those skills out of survival necessity. She wasn't honed enough to give advice about how to handle other cats. "Leave?" the she-cat suggested. "Or learn the best hiding spots around, learn to hunt or scavenge well enough to survive until your two-legs come back...if they come back." She muttered the last part under her breath.

Snow's whiskers twitched a bit in amusement as the tom asked Scar his question. Something about the scenario told Snow that Corn might have a quick forming crush on the young she-cat. He flicked her with his tail as she quickly threw in that last part under her breath. "I think she's right though. If you don't want to leave, the best way is to learn to survive without your two legs feeding you and taking care of you. If there are dogs around, like you said. The best way might be to leave, or try to chase the dogs out. But that could be dangerous. Either learn to use your surroundings to your advantage, or learn how to survive in the forest."
