(Hey Dime! c: Iโve got all my characters open except Lightweave and Spiderpae, but I donโt know if you wanna RP with me right now because Iโm on my phone, so my responses wonโt be great xD)
Spiderpaw couldnโt help but think to himself that the way that he landed was cooler. Brotherly competition seemed impossible to separate, at least from Spiderpaw. The silver and black tom snickered with a little laugh at his brothers words. โMan, I ALMOST feel sorry that you have to have her as a mentor. How bad does it suck?โ The two began to chatter as they made their way out of camp and towards the frozen river that divided the camp, from the rest of the territory. Crossing it during leafbare was a breeze, but during the hotter seasons it was against clan code for an apprentice to travel across it without a warrior. Little did the duo know, but further along the territory, nestled under a fallen log just short of the Blue Bell Meadow was a mother fox and her pups. Word had not reached their ear that a patrol just yesterday evening had found the den. Jinglestar was supposed to be in charge of handling a patrol to deal with it later today...

(I can not ruin such a wonderful moment of father son bonding! ;D; It would be heresay. XD Sure let me get one up now! Sorry again if my replies arenโt as good as they normally are, on my phone. >.<)
It didnโt take long for Jinglestar to set her sights on someone to play with, er... she meant, talk with. She spotted Howlinghawk, the first warrior she had ever appointed! She liked Howlinghawk, though she liked just as much as she liked every cat who didnโt clear abhor her. The little calico leader bounced up to the warrior who sat beside the base of the tree. โGood morning Howlinghawk! And isnโt it a good morning? Itโs not totally storming!โ It was unheard for leaders to be so... childish and playful with their subordinates. As she spoke Jinglestar, unable to contain her excitement, jumped into a playful crouch and lashed her frilled tail side to side.

Having been settled rather comfortably to the side of camp enjoying a meal in the dim sunlight that basked over camp, the handsome warrior was so focused on the task of satisfying his hunger that it didn't seem he noticed Jinglestar's initial approach. Not allowing surprise to filter into the dark of his expression, Howlinghawk cast his gaze over the smaller shecat with a twitch of his ears, a somewhat fond smile flickering over his features. It was bizarre to have a leader younger than himself, a sentiment shared by many, but to be so close in age to one when he was little more than apprentice himself, it wasn't the ideal beginning to anyone's warriorhood. But as usual Howlinghawk simply rolled with the blows and get on with life, never one to really complain either way.
"Morning," he replied with a nod of his head. Towering over the apprentice aged leader like a tree over shrubbery, he battered a paw at the shecat in a playful manner. Howlinghawk barely saw the shecat as a leader, not in a malicous manner but simply more of a bizarrely ranked close friend. "Agreed, though careful. Don't want to jinx our good fortune with this weather, StarClan might here you and pour a lake on us."

Aha, thank you )) Juniperpaw noticed Blackleopard's gaze sweep over him, and lowered his head shyly. He quickly straightened himself again, ashamed of himself for getting sheepish. The cream tom adjusted his position so that he was sitting like his father, in a dignified way. He accepted the playful affection of his father, his heart beating quickly. He felt a strong admiration and love for his family. He kept this to himself, as he did not want to act kitlike around his father. Juniperpaw flicked his tail playfully, then rested it over his paws. He could not suppress a slight grin across his lips. "My training is going well, Father," he replied. He secretly hoped that Howlinghawk hadn't spoken about his training to the deputy lately. Juniperpaw was surprised by the next question. "N-no way!" He exclaimed. He caught the slight grin on Blackleopard's face, and instantly grew embarrassed. "I mean, I'll do my best, but there is no way I could ever be as good as you." He lowered his gaze sheepishly. Father and son might well have been chalk and cheese in terms of difference, and not only regarding the stark contrast of their pelt colours. Whereas the young apprentice was shy and sheepish, eager to please and immature to some extent, the trademarks of any cat his age and something that Blackleopard wouldn't belittle him for. The father carried himself with a tone of quiet confidence and strength that merely underlined the intimidating nature of the muscled tom cat, and whilst by no means infallible, Blackleopard enjoyed portraying himself as though he was just that. "I'm glad to hear you are succeeding," he responded with the calm tone which came naturally to the handsome warrior. "Soon enough you will become a warrior to make your mother proud," whilst not outright stating such. The proud which underlined the neutrality of his voice was evidence enough of the affection currently lighting his veins. Chuckling so slightly it might not have been audible to most, nor considered as a true expression of amusement in the manner which it was promptly stifled. "Hmm, you need more confidence in yourself," he teased quietly. Wrapping his tail around his muscled frame with a soft purr. "There is nothing to stop you one day becoming deputy, look who leads us," his latter comment was made in a mostly playful manner, and he moved on so quickly it was likely missed that he might mean anything other than jest. "And a far better cat than I ever could be."

Russetpaw padded alongside Spiderpaw was they tracked through the forest toward the frozen river glad it was frozen over as Russetpaw didn't not enjoy the idea of crossing the raging water. "She's not that bad really." He meowed shrugging his shoulders. "At least I did get a mentor who's lucky go happy and always excited about something or someone who's serious about everything. How about you? Don't you have to listen to both medicine cats and wont you be apprentice for moons until one decides to retire?" Russetpaw checked the surroundings around them tasting the air before continuing with a teasing tone. "I'll be a warrior and you'll still be stuck as a apprentice."

๐ฆโ๐ณโโcโแดส Juniperpaw caught the hint of pride in his father's tone, subtle, but in existence. He did not often hear praise in training, or from other apprentices, but impressing the Clan deputy was so much better. Despite their father and son connection, he knew that Blackleopard's praise was hard-won. His father would always love him, but he would need to earn the respect, the same as any other warrior. "Thank you, Father," he replied, keeping his voice level, as not to show his inner enthusiasm. "I will try my best." He had often struggled with confidence, but he worked hard, and he hoped it would come. He absently wondered whether his father had ever had doubts in himself. It seemed like an unlikely notion, the black tom never wavered. Juniperpaw considered Blackleopard's next words, though he caught nothing more than unharmful teasing. He rarely thought much of Jinglestar's leadership, though he heard plenty of gossiping from the adults. He wondered what his father really thought of a Clan Leader whom was barely apprentice aged. Juniperpaw himself was only a moon or so younger, and he couldn't imagine leading the Clan. He doubted that his father would vocalize his opinion, and he remained loyal to Jinglestar, for now. Juniperpaw shifted uncomfortably, unsure of where to go next. He summoned up enough courage to ask a question. "Father," he began slowly, "do you think Jinglestar will make a good leader?"

Juniperpaw shifted uncomfortably, unsure of where to go next. He summoned up enough courage to ask a question. "Father," he began slowly, "do you think Jinglestar will make a good leader?" "I have no doubts that you will do anything less than your absolute best," he replied with a firm tone of voice. His gaze wandering for a heartbeat when he caught sight of the warriors of AlpineClan beginning to rouse from their nests and turn the clearing into a quiet buzz of activity. He knew it was likely a long way off, but he looked forward to a day where he might patrol with his own son as an equal, a warrior in his own right and the fantastic warrior Blackleopard knew he would become. If only he found more faith in himself. The deputy allowed his tail to brush affectionately across his son's shoulder for a heartbeat, before drawing it back around himself with a sigh to himself. But his son's next question was one which surprised the warrior. Admittedly it had been one which he had heard a number of times in recent, either out of genuine curiosity or teasing due to the fact he was now lower than a meagre apprentice without a single ounce of clan blood in her body. Whilst the handsome tom was stoic and quiet by nature. Even he found it frustrating how his clan had taken to treating him of recent. Most seemed to be of the opinion that he was angry with the new arrangement. In truth, the deputy wasn't entirely sure just yet of exactly how he felt on the matter. Releasing a heavy yet contemplative sigh as his initial response, the tom shrugged his hefty shoulders. "I don't know yet," he admitted with a flick of his dappled tail. "But if its the wish of StarClan, I am willing to wait until I am. And then adjust as necessary," again his voice was calm and neutral. Though something flickered in the dark of his gaze that perhaps suggested something different entirely. "I think that's what the rest of the clan should be doing as well."

Taiyou-
Spiderpaw seethed with anger, the hackles along his shoulders raising as his brother spoke. He realized that he really was going to be an apprentice until one of the medicine cats died, and that's something Russetpaw would hold over his head for a long time. His tail lashed and he cuffed a paw over his brothers ear as they walked. "Oh shut up! You know what, Thiefshade makes you look like a little girl in comparison!" He started, but his argument could continue no longer, as they took another step the gleaming, beady green eyes of a vixen could be seen, peering at them from a fallen log. Spiderpaw froze, unsure if his brother had noticed. Now that he breathed it in, this area was heavy with the scent of fox. The beast growled menacingly, but did not yet lunge from it's den. The muzzle of the creature was pulled back into a threatening snarl. "Russetpaw..." Spiderpaw's voice was small and timid. He touched his tail carefully and slowly to his brothers flank, never pulling his eyes from the vixen. The medicine cat apprentice backed up slowly, a trembling mess. But as they backed away, the vixen crawled closer. The intelligent creature understood that these two young boys couldn't take her. If she stopped them now it would be less of a hassle later. And so, she sprinted towards them, paws tearing up an explosion of leaves behind her. "RUN!" The black and silver tom screeched, adrenaline coursed through him as he turned around and bolted towards the direction of the Frozen River. Surley they would lose the fox there!

Russetpaw ducked slightly as Spiderpaw cuffed his ear and let out a laugh knowing that he got under his fur. "Ha! Don't feel bad one day you'll be a full Medicine cat." As Spiderpaw came to a sudden stop Russetpaw followed his eyes seeing the fox in front of them as it snarled at them, the scent was heavily in the area and they walked up on the fox without hardly knowing. Russetpaw clinched up as he felt Spiderpaw brush against him as they back away slowly before turning and running as the Vixen started chasing them. Russetpaw raced after Spiderpaw struggling to keep himself from stumbling, his heart pounded and pulse roared in his ears afraid to look back at the fox as they made their way back to the Frozen River. What would happen if the fox caught them or followed them all the way to the camp. "We cant lead it back to Camp! We have to lose it quickly!"

The realization hit him at his brotherโs cry. He was right, they couldnโt lead it back to camp! But, how were they supposed to lose it? If the two of them were any slower the fierce vixen would have caught up with them already. She was hot on their trail, snapping her jaws to try to catch their tails streaming behind them. Spiderpaw could feel the hairs on his tail get nipped off. His heart wanted to give in, the little black and silver medicine cat wanted nothing more than to collapse and give up, it looked hopeless. But the adrenaline in his veins wouldnโt let him, his determination to survive, and to keep his brother alive, was like a fire lit under his belly. Spiderpaw managed to tear his eyes from the vixen and look ahead of them again. There! A massive tree just up ahead, even larger than the pines surrounding it. โDO FOXES KNOW HOW TO CLIMB?!โ He yelled to his brother.

Russetpaw flattened his ears against his head feeling the fox's hot breath his tail as it tried to catch them by their tails. Running away from the orange and black creature was starting to feel desperate but they couldn't turn and fight, the two apprentices wouldn't stand a chance as Russetpaw was sure Spiderpaw didn't take his spare time to learn warrior techniques. Hearing his brothers cry, Russetpaw looked at the trees around them trying to recall any stories about Foxes climbing tress. "I don't think so! Let's hope they can't!" He yowled back.
