Feather was on an afternoon hunt, alone. She spotted two strangers, a cub and a very large male. She watched from the long grass, trying to figure out how to confront them. As they plunged into the water she hissed, it was dry season, the pride was thirsty. She couldn’t let that happen. Her gaze intent, she crawled forwards, making sure she was downwind, silent, and stealthy she kept and creeping forwards until she was practically at the river.” What are you doing here!” She said and stood up tall.

Shi faked a chuckle when she said that they were on her prides territory. “Broken pride more like.” He said, smirking at his joke. He crouched down slightly, ready to defend himself, when all of a sudden two more showed up. “Isabis, step back.” He whispered to her before addressing the pride. “We are merely getting a drink and bathing, there isn’t many watering holes that way.” He said, indicating with his head the way that they came. “Surely you could spare some, me and the cub were parched, and we were exhausted from traveling for so long.” Shi said, before adding “I mean no harm, I’m not trying to start a fight. Three on one isn’t very fair... for you.” He then curled his lip up, baring his teeth in a warning.

Koda bared his teeth right back.” You can drink somewhere else, otherwise you won’t be needing to drink anymore once we’re done.” He snarled and stepped closer.
Feather bared her teeth.” That cub is very young, she can’t go with a injured, perhaps dead guardian. Can she?” Feather said. Though she knew she wouldn’t do anything to har, the cub, this male was very aggressive.

Feather growled.” Liva!” She hissed and snatched the cub from her. She put the cub under her.” Shh, don’t worry.” She whispered and kept the cub between her.

”This was the closest water source, in fact it’s the only one that we have seen.” Shi said before growling loudly. He wasn’t one to back down from a fight, but he couldn’t possibly beat all three. Should turned his head, looking at Isabis. He also had to keep her safe, away from harm. “Let’s go, our thirst has been quenched.” He said before stepping out of the water, shaking his pelt a little to dry it. The duo walked away a bit, before Shi stopped, turning to look at the three other lions, a murderous look on his face. “We will leave now, but we will not leave this land. Head my warning, if any lions try to chase us out, they will be dealt with, definitively. And if you touch the cub again, I’ll kill you.” He said, before unleashing a loud roar, a roar so loud it would probably travel for miles. “Let’s go, maybe we will find something nice to eat on the way back to the cave.” Shi said to Isabis, then the two of them turned away and went the way they came.
