r e g u l a t i o n s

         { ♦ } general - -
     ♦ Please read the rules and understand them before joining. The information is important and must be understood before proceeding. Note that the staff hold the right to change a rule if needed. If you have any questions, please send them to ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 via pm.
     ♦ There are special systems set in place called "Clan Systems." These systems may cause events that may not be to your liking. If you desire complete control over your character and not to the discretion of a generator, this role-play may not be suitable for you.

         { ♦ } consequences - -
     ♦ Be aware of the consequences of your actions. When a rule is broken by a member, they will receive a verbal warning. Three verbal warnings will equal a star. When a members receives a star, they will receive a punishment. This can range from apprentices being held back a moon, to a mentor losing their apprentice, or demotion of a rank.
     ♦ Three stars will equal a deletion. At that point, you must wait two weeks to rejoin. The prefixes of your cats will be reserved for that time if you show interest of rejoining.

         { ♦ } requirements - -
     ♦ Members with special positions in plots and in the Clans must be active for five days a week. Members without a special position must be active for four days a week. Keep in mind that out of role-play interactions do not count towards your activity. This rule can have special circumstances.
     ♦ If you must take a hiatus from the role-play, you must contact a staff member. Hiatuses are valid for a two week time frame unless a time frame has been given to the staff. Once the hiatus has expired, you must contact a staff to discuss an extension or how you will be reintroduced into the role-play.
     ♦ You will need to head your post with the character name, Clan, and location. Time is optional. If you use special post templates all fonts must be easy to read and all colors must be legible. It is preferred that the template is also easy to read on mobile.
     ♦ You may role-play at a minimum of three to five sentences. One liners are not accepted. Of course, make sure you have proper grammar and spelling, though some mistakes are perfectly okay!

         { ♦ } characters - -
     ♦ We ask you have at least one character related to another character that you do not own or to an NPC. Staff members may suggest relations if you do not suggest one yourself. However, you can join as a group of siblings, parent to kit, and so on as long as you abide by the rule.
     ♦ We will only allow a certain number of queens depending on the season and plot circumstances. The decision for you to have one will be based on a coin toss for yes or no. Orphan kits, unless specifically asked for a plot, are not allowed. We will have the maximum of ten apprentices at a time and per Clan. ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 has important requirements for apprentices and mentors. Please ask her or check out the Clan Systems to learn more.
     ♦ You may join as a member of another Clan, however the majority of your characters must remain in MapleClan. Cats in the other Clans will only be role-played on occasion. You may claim cats in high positions of the other Clans, but please only role-play them at the appropriate times.
     ♦ NPC characters are open for everyone to use. However, only mention them in your post, do not role-play them as you would our own character. Feel free to ask the staff for an example.
     ♦ All names must make sense, however some creativity will be allowed. If you think your name will be denied, simply save it for a different role-play. Names from the books are allowed. The current leader will pick names as long as they abide by this rule. Suggestions are welcome, but we cannot guarantee that will be your character's warrior name.
     ♦ You may have your characters related to previous cats that were in high positions. Though keep an eye on who has claimed who and make sure they're okay with you being related to the same character. If the character is deceased and does not have a description in StarClan, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 will create one. Same applies for other Clan cats.
     ♦ Please keep in mind that this role-play is focused primarily on MapleClan. However, many plots will include the others Clans. Only role-play your non-MapleClan characters when they are needed.

While the names are obviously free to use and can be used in this arrangement, any reference to this specific role-play without permission will not be permitted. (Pretty much don't rip off this, I don't care if you use the names because who hasn't?) The lore and landmarks were written by ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 in addition to the rules. The coding was done by ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 . The banner was drawn with a Huion DWH69 tablet on a program called Krita. The pixel leaves behind the graphic texts was drawn in GIMP. The font used in the headers is called Domine and was found here. The banner and the pixel leaves are property of ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 .
