Perhaps a polar bear or something would be, but I was thinking more along the lines of black bear, which are primarily herbivorous. So 9/10 when the cats see a bear, it's just "leave it alone and go to a different area and it'll leave" kind of deal. Like, they'd be annoying because them snuffling and rummaging around in the woods would scare off a lot of prey, but they normally wouldn't be dangerous unless the cats attacked first. And then of course there's that one time where the bear is just p*ssed off and decides to wreck stuff, and then yes they are an op monster, but there would be ways for the cats to get away, and that would probably only happen when there was a plot reason for it (like someone wants to kill off a cat for dramatic purposes or something).
As for the claim-a-cat thing, idk, I kinda like claim-a-cat because it makes it so characters already have a sort of interlocking backstory with the Clans and other characters, so there's no fumbling around trying to find relationships- a few of them are already presented. Usually when I make claim-a-cats, though I let the roleplayer make minor adjustments to their character if they want (like changing eye color or something) just so everyone is happy with their cat(s).

Plus, they pretty much get to decide the cat's personality, so...the claim-a-cat clans and free-to-join outcasts also really helps show the difference between the groups.
Also...gators in RippleClan? Tho you don't see gators near a mountain.

Yeah, but again, the laws of geography don't really apply in this universe. I generally try to make the territories believable (like, no snowy mountains or deep jungles next to a frigging desert) but they don't have to be entirely realistic, so sure, gators in RippleClan lol. I'm gonna have to make a cat named Gator-something now XD I may go back and add 2 or 3 more cats to each Clan; I believe there's currently 20 in each.

Whatcha gonna do about banners/layouts? I don't like them...but they're sorta necessary.

Oh yeah, good point. I don't usually bother with banners since they're kind of a pain to make and I don't really like how they look anyhow, but as for layouts, I was probably just gonna use the same one I always do, which just looks like: but obviously with different colors depending on the Clan, and of course the boxes formatted to fit the information within them.

Man there are roleplays with cats in the jungle, in the desert, next to volcanoes, swimming in the ocean- they're all unrealistic. I would say gators is probably not that much of a stretch, and even then, the cats would figure out how to deal with them, so after 3 years they're not gonna be that much of a threat except to young, untrained apprentices or cats who aren't paying attention. But even if that weren't the case, I will reiterate that the point of roleplays like this one aren't to be realistic, they're to create an interesting story. After all, this is a universe where cats speak to the dead, who can both grant them literally nine lives, and manifest themselves in a physical way (apparently). So realism in the warriors universe is an extremely relative and arbitrary term.

Okay, so, um, what else is there left to do?

Welp let's see.
Clan names = √ Clan territories = mostly √ Clan allegiances = √ except for the Outcasts Unique prey/predator list = not actually √ but I can do that in literally like a minute when I make the Clan so metaphorically √ Clan camps = not √ except for vague descriptions Plots = half √
So basically what we can work on I guess is Clan camps and perhaps coming up with a few plots, both minor and major, past the general "StarClan is upsetti spaghetti" and "Outcast Clan rising" plots. I guess more specifically we need reasons for the Clans to be fighting, and thus for StarClan to be upset.
Also, I should note that I'm actually going to be away Friday-Sunday in Zombie Summer Camp but I'll be back either late Sunday or on Monday. I may also be able to get a post or two in Friday but this is unlikely because I have to fight the clammy rot child over a car seat pack & make sure my friends don't forget anything. In any case, I'm going to wait to actually make the Clans until I return.
