Redpaw looked up at Nightrider his one good eye narrowing. He picked up what was left of his mouse and took a couple paw steps away. The tip of his tail twitching. "What do you want?" He snapped at the elder.

"Come back here and sit down. We have a good bit to discuss." Nightrider snapped back, without so much as a glance. His sheer lack of care carried so much strength with it, you could feel the air shift with his words.

Redpaw huffed and got to his paws abandoning his mouse. "Make me you old bag of bones." He snarled. Redpaws tail lashed.

Nightrider sighed, as if bored. He slid his prey aside and glanced at the 'paw from the corner of his gaze. "Sit down, or you'll not be eating tonight. I have a lot to explain, such as the fact that you're officially under my tutelage, and that means I'm either going to teach you, or punish you for not listening. So, Sit!" He finished with a bark of an order. When he used this voice on Vixenstar as an apprentice, the then Vixenpaw had almost wet herself. It was the only other time he'd had to truly yell at an apprentice. But Redpaw would likely hear the voice again someday soon.

With a loud snort Redpaw sat down a bit closer to the elder but it by much. Great he had ANOTHER mentor, and it seemed Vixenstar had asked this old bag of bones to be his new mentor. Redpaw didn't take his harsh gaze off of Nightrider.

"Good. It's better that you learn to listen now, as opposed to later. My name is Nightrider. I am known for fighting off three badgers, mentoring Vixenstar, and being the part time mentor of many others. You will be referring to me as either Nightrider, or 'Mentor.' You will answer with yes, sir, or no, sir. If you answer with anything besides that, unless the question is not yes or no, you will be punished. Is that clear?" Like a drill sergeant, he spelled it out with a rocket-speed tongue, quickly rising to his feet and staring down on the apprentice. To move that quickly, to speak that fiercely, was surely intimidating.

Redpaw was intimidated, he had to fight the urge to his his gaze on Nightrider. This tom was very much different from Roaringheart and the others he had as mentors and his didn't like it. He wasn't going to say "no sir" or "yes sir." He wasn't going to listen to this tom. But there wasn't much he could do, he was sure if he didn't answer this tom he was going to loose a ear. "Yes sir." He grumbled. This was going to be a long day.

"Now on your feet, foxdung! You and me are leaving, right now, for the training pit. You're clearly only going to learn if lessons are beat into you with blood, sweat and tears! Move it!" He yowled.

Redpaw shook his head. "I haven't finished my mouse yet." He protested. Plus Juniperfoot was out there and he didn't want to bump into his half brother.

BEARKIT + NETTLEKIT || "CAMP" "C'mon Bearkit, Ma won't know!" The little grey-and-brown kitten mewed, her voice hushed. She nudged her brother in the direction of the small gap in the camp wall that they would frequently use to sneak out. "If we're quick, we can be in and out before she realises we're gone!" Nettlekit bounded ahead of Bearkit and quietly pushed through the gap, flattening herself to the ground so she could wriggle through. She waited on the other side for a few moments, plopping down in the dirt to groom her chest fur while Bearkit made the decision whether or not to follow her: she knew he would, he never left her side because he was always such a worry-wart. As she'd expected, the large brown tabby kit shoved his head through the gap, struggling a lot more than she did to worm his way through due to his size. With a grunt of effort he pulled his hindquarters free and shook out his thick pelt. Nettlekit purred happily and bounded to her paws, beckoning to her brother with a flick of her tail. She rounded a clump of tall grass and spotted Miststep, the warrior's blue-grey fur blending in well with the shade. The she-cat was crouched over something, and Nettlekit's paws pricked with curiosity. "Hi Miststep!" The little kitten meowed, trotting over with her tail held high; the heavy crunching of dried grass and leaves behind her alerted her to her brother's presence too. "Whatcha doing?" She peered owlishly down at the grey warrior's paws, searching for what she was fiddling with.

Quailkit// 4 moons// kit a normal sized she-cat with a short and glossy tortie pelt. Amber eyes. Quailkit is shy but rather smart. She loves the sky and birds. Her mom is a she-cat named Sweetwhisker and her father is a tom named Ducktail.---Fuzzymask

(I'm just going to start with Quailkit I hope Zombie doesn't mind ;- Quailkit had been minding her own business when he noticed Nettlekit and Bearkit. They were very interested in something in the camps wall, Quailkit was about to go over there and ask when suddenly Neetlekit tumbled through A hole in the camps wall then Bearkit followed. Knowing this was against camp rules Quailkit wanted to stop them before they got into trouble. Quailkit quietly snuck up to the hole and squeezed through.

She jumped to her feet and groomed grayish-blue chest, to hide her flustered expression. "You two aren't supposed to leave camp." The young warrior murmured, in a weak attempt to deflect attention away from her very childish pastime. Redpaw yelped and whipped around. The fur along his back bristling. "Don't touch me." He hissed before stomping off towards the camps entrance. His long tail lashing angrily. Nightrider feigned no reply on his part. He had no need to justify himself to Redpaw for his actions. Now he followed behind, counting steps as they walked to the training grounds.

(I'm just going to throw all my characters out there. It's been a long week for me.)
Graystorm was watching over the camp. His tail tip twitching lightly, he eyed the camp through narrowed eyes. Graystorm had done his best to hide in the shade of camp. However, it was difficult for him. He tended to avoid others due to his past and respects those that still avoid him. Still, it was hard to avoid others when he was hiding in the shade where others usually were. Graystorm's ears suddenly twitched as he sat up straighter. His eyes opened more as he glanced around camp. Why did it suddenly get a little quieter? Where was the sound of the kits playing?
Skunknose rushed into the camp with two mice in his jaws. Without stopping, the tom all but tumbled the two mice into the prey pile and rounded to the warrior's den before skidding to a halt. Panting lightly because of thirst, Skunknose's bright eyes glanced around camp, wondering if he was needed for anything. Like a patrol! That would be great! He stuck his head in the den to see if anyone was still in there.
Redleaf finished grooming herself and padded out into a small patch of sunlight. The young warrior had been on the dawn patrol and had gotten up just a bit ago. She had just finished a small shrew and was waiting to be sent to do something else. While she might not enjoy leaving camp so much, she knew she had to. In all honesty, she would rather stay in the camp with the kits. She always enjoyed being with them. Holding back a sigh, Redleaf glanced around camp, looking for the deputy.
Rabbitpaw was practicing his bird stalking in front of the apprentice's den. His haunches wriggled, and his stub of a tail moved. Stepping lightly, the white and brown tom slowly crept forward before freezing. Then, with a large leap, Rabbitpaw launched himself into the air. He landed softly on a leaf a fox-length away. The apprentice let out a content purr, happy to have done so well.

(Sure thing, I'll get started with Petalspots ^^)
PETALSPOTS || CAMP The pale tabby queen swore she had only let her eyes close for a moment, but when she blinked them open again it seemed like it had been moons. She yawned and stretched out in her nest, slowly rising to her paws. With a quick glance outside the den, she noticed that she couldn't see Nettlekit or Bearkit where she had instructed them to play in sight of the nursery. She frowned slightly, and moved towards the entrance to the nursery to see if they had ventured a little further away. Poking her head out, she was unable to see them; perhaps they'd gone to bother one of their Clanmates? She should check the elders' den and the medicine den, first and foremost, as they were the most likely locations for her kits to be hiding. She glanced around in hopes of spotting Willowfall, her mate and the kits' father - he might have seen them.
NETTLEKIT || OUTSIDE OF CAMP "Did I scare the beetle? I'm sorry," Nettlekit mewed sincerely, looking up at the grey warrior. When the older she-cat mentioned the fact that they should indeed not be out of camp, she quickly glanced over her shoulders at Bearkit, but the large tabby was more interested in something in the opposite direction. "Promise you won't tell anyone? Pretty please? We only came for a look, I saw a pretty butterfly and I wanted to see if it was still here," it wasn't the complete truth: she'd seen the butterfly much earlier on in the day, but a part of her had hoped that the creature was still nearby.
BEARKIT || OUTSIDE OF CAMP The large tom swung around at the sound of rustling in the little tunnel they'd just emerged from. His eyes widened when he spotted Quailkit. Oh no, what if she tells on us? I told Nettlekit this tunnel wasn't a good idea! He winced, shuffling his large paws awkwardly in the dirt. "H-Hi Quailkit," he mumbled, his voice soft.

Miststep sighed at the little kit's adorable innocence. "I won't tell. But we can't let you just go walking around out here! So I guess..." Her lips curled into a playful smile and she crouched low, with her tail swishing wildly in the air behind her. "We'll have to play together, so I can keep an eye on you!"

NETTLEKIT || OUTSIDE OF CAMP Nettlekit purred in delight, bouncing on her paws before dropping to a very clumsy crouch, wriggling her haunches in the air. She lashed her tail and pounced at Miststep, being careful to keep her claws sheathed. She missed the blue-grey warrior by a few mouse-lengths, landing just in front of her, so instead she darted in quickly and reared up on her hind legs to bat Miststep on the muzzle with a soft paw. "I've been practicing my warrior moves with Bearkit!" She informed the warrior happily, crouching again and watching the older she-cat's swishing tail with a sneaky glimmer in her eye.

(Goodnight! Thanks for adopting me and my crazy ideas <3) Amberpetal sat and daintily ate at the fresh kill, not wanting to embarrass herself by devouring it, as her belly demanded. "Thank you." She murmured between bites. Scruffy old Nightrider walked over, and sat across from Redpaw, a vole in his jaws. He plopped it down in front of him and began to eat, without a word to his apprentice. The silence was powerful. Question chuckled quietly, “hungry?” He asked, looking to the now devoured rabbit carcass.
