I've just got them! Turns out I'm not that good at French. I got a U in French, which stands for Ungraded, it was that bad. I got A in everything else though, which is the highest grade in As. So I'm happy with that. Now to see where this brings me. To next year, I'd imagine.
Has anyone else got A level results today, or any other for that matter?

I've got GCSE results next Thursday :sleepy: Good luck with those! It's a difficult wait, and it's all over in seconds. I find it strange every time.

(in the case of my Drama exam I did that at the start of May before exam season properly kicked off so that's been a nightmare to wait for)

Currently waiting for English Language, English Literature, Maths, Additional Science, Drama, History, Geography and Spanish. For the courses I'm intending to do at sixth form, I need Cs in English Lan, Maths and Drama (all easy for me), as well as Bs in English Lit and History (if I don't get that in the latter I'll have to rely on a B somewhere else)

Way too difficult, but also really fun. I did very little revision this year, so I might do more next year, because I'd imagine it's going to get harder. I spent most of my time playing games during study.

My school cut all the language courses pretty much because there wasn't enough interest, though I was never keen on continuing Spanish particularly. I'm hoping to raise the bar revision wise next year, but I actually did okay for this year considering I didn't start until late April oops My boyfriend does that too but only when he doesn't have any outstanding work (this rule is bended though occasionally from what I hear haha)

Whilst I don't revise, I usually tell people to revise. I do the work that was set to me, as quick as possible, the day before it was due, or sometimes on the day itself.

They cut all the languages and nearly all the performing arts courses with the exception of Drama and Music I believe. It's looking like I'll have a girl in my Drama class who's only doing it because it was the closest thing to Dance and she thinks the sun shines out of her backside so that'll be fun -.- To avoid looking bad in front of my friends who are organised I told a few white lies about the amount of revision I did I'm usually a night-before person but recently I've been getting better I think?

I haven't clashed with her in my 6 years of knowing her so I should stay on her good side but you never know... I felt bad for lying but I was expecting them to judge me or something so yeah that was a bit eh Exactly

I got an A* in history, which I'm really happy about!! My French grade was only a B, though. I somehow only got a D in the A2 listening, reading and writing component, even though I got an A in this component at AS, and have never got less than a B in mock exams... I'm having it remarked... I feel really stupid because I didn't get the A*/A*/A/A that two of the people at my sixth form got...

I'll try to sort myself out in Freshman year of college. Two history courses (American, and Music), College level Algebra (I think. I don't know how I got into this course as math is the worst) and remedial English. I was NOT expecting that at all. But the staff gave a gave a very good reason as they thought a lot my class wasn't ready for English 101. Sounds good! But maths is fine! Not fun, but fine. Also, I only understand 1/3 of what you said, too many differences in systems to fully understand it.

I'll try to explain So, here in the US, you have to take a certain amount of hours. (standard I think is 12 hours.) Three of my classes are 3 hours each. (the other is 4 hours) I meet twice a week and have an hour and a half per class. That's how we get the whole "hours; thing. I don't think I explained that well

If you are in...say 094, that's a remedial course and it isn't worth any points towards your degree. 201 is a second, or sophomore level class. I think the same goes for the third (junior) and fourth (senior) levels (301, and 401) but I'm not entirely sure

By then, the system assumes you know what to do and what level classes to take. Sorry about that mix up
