Lena Oliver "No one made me. I made me."
Lena Oliver actually hated coffee. Now, don't get her wrong, she understood the appeal and she knew that it was beneficial in some circumstances, but gods above did she hate it. It tasted awful, and the coffee sitting in front of her was bound to go cold soon, since she'd decided roughly two minutes ago that she was no longer drinking it.
Speaking of minutes, it wasn't long until her best friend was due to be meeting her at this sweet little coffee shop. Logan was, and always had been, Lena's all-time most favorite person in the world. But don't tell her cousins that. She'd never hear the end of it. Back to business, though. Lena sat in the aesthetic little coffee shop that they loved to meet at, a venti cup of now-cold coffee sitting in front of her. Briefly, she wondered if one of his brothers would come with him - they were all friends of Lena's, if you wanted the truth, but Logan was by far her favorite. One of his brothers, whom Lena so fondly called Leslie, wasn't exactly a 'people person', so to speak, and Lena and Logan bonded over making fun of him for it. Never mind that he gave them death glares, because in the end everyone knew that the poor sap would never harm either of them.
Lena sighed into her hands, rolling her neck back in an effort to release the tension that had been built up since the mayor had announced that supers were now illegal - something that personally impacted Lena and Logan, and each of his brothers. Oh, how she was ready to rant to Logan about the absurd stupidity of making supers illegal. Wes Carver "My touch is lethal. My touch is power."
Wes was still struggling with his powers - even for as long as he'd been showing them, albeit not as long as some, he still had some problems with keeping them from being set loose any time he got frustrated. So, the young man had taken to jogging every morning, and in turn so had his friend, Evelyn Pax. It was this young woman that he waited on, seated on a bench in the park. As he tied his new Nike shoes, Wesley couldn't help but glance around, wondering where his friend was. Ev was normally as punctual as he was, so waiting on her was a bit of a shock at this moment in time.
Regardless, Wes was excited to jog with Ev. She's been his best friend for quite some time, and was one of a small number of people who had the ability to calm him down and keep his powers under wraps. And believe me, that list was very small. So, in all, Wes was thankful that he'd found Ev however-long-ago, and he was indeed grateful that she'd remained friends with his dorky self throughout the years. Otherwise, he might have leveled the city, and that would have make the recent passing of a law criminalizing supers all the more necessary, if the regulars had anything to say about it. Not that they knew he had powers - he could pass for a regular as well as the next guy.

James Regret Coulter
When the lovely lady in front of him inquired if he had read the book before, James returned the question with a smile. ”I have, actually. Though it’s been awhile, I should probably read it again. Gotta keep it fresh in my memory and all,” James explained with ease as he leaned back in his chair, taking the moments of what had become a comfortable silence in his opinion to take a look at the girl before him. She was quite pretty, actually. Sure, James didn’t think anyone of any gender could compare to his own looks, but she was rather pretty all the same.
”I’m James, by the way,” he started, smiling over at her again. ”James Coulter,” James introduced himself, draping an arm over the top of his chair. It wasn’t all that comfortable, in fact he couldn’t imagine why anyone thought it would be comfortable. But this is what the cool people did to show that they were cool, sure it was a little bit extra of a move, but he could have done worse. Besides, even if it wasn’t comfortable, James could only imagine that he looked like one of those relaxed and refined young business men - or something more interesting than business - that had a bit of a wild side to them.
Like they’d leap off for an adventure and leave behind a trail of broken hearts.
Not that James wanted to go around breaking hearts, he wasn’t a monster. Hearts were not something to be messed with. They were delicate things that shouldn’t be trifled with. Even James understood this.
Still though, if there was a way to be that cool and sophisticated man with an adventurous, almost “bad” but not really bad flare to him, James wanted to be that guy. Though considering he had sown outfits for his cat before, the chances of that ever happening were low.

Delilah Marie Grimm "Your hopes have become my burden. I will find my own liberation."
The older triplet puzzled over Jonah's problem for a moment. It was a suspicious time to be so desperate for a job. She'd never considered it before, and it was probably a good thing she hadn't been asked this question yet.
However, now that she was faced with the problem, she needed to solve it.
"You could always tell them that you're pretty new in town." A shrug was given with this suggestion. Sure, if someone looked deeper into it, they'd obviously find out that wasn't the case, but who was that nosy about a new hire that would do great at any job he was put into? It seemed pretty unlikely to her.
Her brother's news about getting a pet, however, turned her attention away from the problem, and brought a smile from her. "That's a great idea! Have you thought about what kind you might want to get?"

Lark V. O'Connor "Maybe ever’body in the whole damn world is scared of each other.."
"Oh, absolutely. It's what I'm doing right now anyway. One of my favourites anyway," among other things. This was in her heart for the tale it told and the depressing ending, littered with fun messages throughout. Fun being an objective term at least, given the likelihood of someone enjoying the messages in such a positive and cheery attitude was less likely than one admiring the messages for a deeper meaning and different look at life, less cheery and more thought-provoking.Giving him a grin as he introduced herself, she gave somewhat as much a bow as she could, and introduced herself in turn. "Lark V. O'Connor at your service. Don't ask what the V stands for, could be anything for all I know. It's less of an embarrassing matter and more of a matter of unsolved mystery. Could stand for violin, violence, venus, vase, maybe it means what it is and is just a V. Anyone's guess really."Wasn't all that fair her brother got a proper middle name in Nicholas while she was stuck with an unfortunate middle name that wasn't much a middle name. V. Now, she realized it was more likely to be Veronica, Violet, Vienna, V name, V name, V name, the point's been got, right? She liked to think it stood for Zebra, but with a V. Vebra. Or Vzebra. No particular reason, she wasn't even fond of zebras all that much. Twas just a guess.

Jonah E. Grimm "Say what you mean. Stop blaming others for being unable to read your mind."
"That might work.." he mused. He doubted the concern on his face was gone though. It didn't feel right lying, and there was too many things saying otherwise. Not to mention, who would actually want to move here. Not that it was a bad place, but it didn't feel like one of those places to get a new start randomly. Perhaps that was just him though.Glad to be fully away from that conversation though, he gave a nervous smile at the question. "I'm not sure. Was meaning to come to you for advice about that, considering you know more about dogs than I." All he understood was they came in different colors and the sizes small, large, and medium.

James Regret Coulter
James smiled as Lark introduced herself. ”I’ve always liked nature names, I’d say nature names and bible names are my favorite,” he told her, leaning forward in his chair again. ”Names like...Robin or Rose or Brook for nature names, there’s just something about them that I find charming,” James continued with a soft smile on his lips. ”Then I quite like bible names like Jonah-“ that one was one of his favorites, it always had been. ”Or Samuel,” he continued, crossing his legs as he thought about the sort of names he liked. ”Or ooh, another good one is Elijah,” he said excitedly, the name striking some sort of nerve for him as soon as it slipped out of his lips.
It was hard to explain, the name just felt important.
”Elijah is a wonderful name, don't you think?” James asked as he looked over at Lark, the smile faltering for only a moment when the named fell from his mouth. However it was back within milliseconds, barely even gone.
Moving on from the topic of bible and nature names, James tipped his head to the side when Lark mentioned her middle name, a chuckle escaping him. ”Really? You don’t know?” He asked lightheartedly. ”Maybe it stands for Victory, or Vital, or Value,” he suggested, as those seemed like worthwhile names for the V to stand for. After all, he could only imagine that Lark’s parents would want to give her a middle name that meant something important, something worthwhile and a true testament of their love.
Unlike his own father, who had given him a middle name that made James wonder just a little bit how excited his father had truly been when his mother birthed James. Of course he knew that his father loved him, of that he was certain. However if you were to ask him, there might have been a time where his father wasn’t quite so keen on James’s existence.
Letting out a small hum, James leaned back in his chair again, adjusting his glasses as he looked over to Lark. ”If anything else, whatever it stands for I’m sure its better than my middle name,” he commented and paused for a second to look each way as if to check and make sure no one was spying in on their conversation. ”My middle name is Regret,” he whispered to her quietly, cringing ever so slightly even as he said it.
As far as middle names went, that one had to be the worst out there, James was quite certain of that.

Lark V. O'Connor "Maybe ever’body in the whole damn world is scared of each other.."
She gave a small laugh as he spoke, not in any type of condescending type of matter, rather the enjoyment of simply listening to him listing out names. It was simply a cute little thing to see people explain their interests in any sort of form. Of course, she would take any praise, whether it be name, personality, appearance, intelligence- oh that last would absolutely be her favorite though. Of course, it was rare out in the open, and whenever it occurred she often had to make sure they weren't slyly insulting her. You wouldn't believe the gall of some people. However! As he mentioned more biblical names, she brightened in recognition. "Oh! Absolutely, never met an Elijah, but I know of one! Funny really, a friend I have has two brothers- ... had ... two brothers! Elijah and Jonah, unfortunately no secret third brother named Samuel, David- I think Jacob is too, but I mean, never met a Jacob I've liked. Which is a shame," Lark babbled on with a grin. It was an answer, whether or not long, an answer is great. And she figured babbling on would be a good enough idea anyways, seeing as those she mentioned likely wouldn't appreciate being mentioned.Even if one was dead from what she heard. Shame, by the way. Not too much of a difference, one brother, two- none. Ah, that would be a shame. If Lark didn't have Seth, well, that would be depressing- sure she could probably get over it though. No offense to her brother, he was a great guy- a little annoying in nature- that whole do good and just good, but whatever. A job was a job."My brother likes to claim Vixen, which makes no sense to me, but he claims I'm a- what's the words, manipulative girl?" Lark gave a laugh afterwards before continuing, "But I like the faith you have in my parents! Any one of those is better than the guesses I've gotten so far! Though I suppose Victoria is close to Victory, no point in Victory without the true word though I suppose."Now, she hadn't meant to be impolite but attempting to hide the snort of a laugh with her hand was far more obvious than laughing itself. Shame she did it anyway. She had a soft smile on her face, in hopes to encourage him that she wasn't laughing at him, just his name. Which so happened to belong to him. "My, you're absolutely right. I mean no offense but that is certainly an interesting middle name to have inherited."
