Leif "Leaf" Svenson

Leif is a bit shorter than average, standing at 5'3". He is naturally thin and not very muscular, a prime source for potential bullying. His skin is porcelain, with brown freckles dotting his cheeks and nose like that of a robin's egg. His mop of hair is thick, wavy, and black, falling around his face in a mess that comes down to his jawline. Here and there are a few brown strands that manage to glint a coppery color when in the sunlight. His eyes are a deep blue-green, with light brown flecks that seem to form a ring around the pupil.
Ever since being born into the tribe, Leif had never thought of himself as much of a fighter. Perhaps that was because his parents were healers, and had a different philosophy than most vikings. Now that his parents are gone, Leif has taken it upon himself to follow in their footsteps, and much prefers caring for young dragons over fighting other vikings. The job he has given himself is also the reason why he met and became so bonded with Signy.

Signy is about the average height of a Nadder, with her scales taking on a silvery-blue sheen. Her spiny, prehensile tail alternates between this silvery-blue and a pale yellow hue. The horn on her snout is a bit curved compared to the spikes that surround her cranium, and the claws on her feet are sharp and black.
Signy was raised from a baby by Leif when he was very young, so the two essentially grew up together. This was how they formed a special bond, and Leif became her rider. Now that Signy is an adult, she strives to protect Leif, oftentimes coddling him as if he were still a child. Leif doesn't realize it, but he actually relies heavily on Signy's emotional support.

Brynndis (Brynn) Estur

Standing at 6'1, Brynn is a mountain of a woman. She has somewhat of a slimmer build than other viking women, but carries a similar strength and power in her broad shoulders and strong legs. She has waist-length blond hair that she always pulls away from her face, whether it's into a quick ponytail or a more complicated and intricate series of knots and braids. Her eyes are dark brown and carry within them the fire of her strong personality and her desire for adventure. A light smattering of freckles arches across her cheeks and nose, making her look a bit younger than she looks, though she makes up for that with her confident and imposing presence. Brynn is no one to take lightly, being a talented fighter as well as an outspoken adventurer. Like many vikings, she's brash and seemingly fearless, confident enough to take on just about any task placed in front of her. However, she can also be extremely stubborn and confrontational, and this has led to many a conflict with her friends and allies. The spirit of wanderlust is strong in her, driving her to want to discover new things and meet new people wherever she goes, but she is also bound to Berk by her devotion to her town and her desire to protect them. Those who have managed to get close to her in her restlessness will find a girl who is deeply devoted to her ideals and fiercely protective of others, who is selfless but struggles to see others' points of view. Overall she is a very reliable and trustworthy friend who tends to have a hard head. Brynn was born and raised on her lonely island, and doesn't know much outside of it. As a teenager, she met her dragon, Daggerfang, when he was just a young dragon. After rescuing him from dragon poachers, she nursed him back to health with help from her mother and made him her partner. They've been virtually inseparable ever since.

Daggerfang is covered in a layer of thick, metallic brown scales, though his scales can sometimes appear red, blue, or purple in hue depending on the color and the intensity of the light shining on them. Like many Grim Gnashers, Daggerfang sports a large mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, which can be rapidly shed and regrown basically at will. His bright yellow eyes are positioned on the sides of his head, like a lizards, and they move around constantly in search of interesting objects or occurrences. Daggerfang's neck and back are covered in sharp spines, so Brynn has to be careful not to accidentally stab her sadle through them when they go flying. Daggerfang is curious and adventurous, much like his partner, though he does have a sassy side and loves to give Brynn trouble for a cheap laugh. However, he is also fiercely loyal and protective of Brynn, and the two have a very strong bond.

Magnus Tougard

Magnus is a towering, thick-set man, standing at 5'11 and weighing well over two hundred pounds. Like many vikings, he is very strong and capable of dealing great damage should he want to. With a mop of scruffy brown hair on his head and a wiry brown beard on his chin, he looks more bear than man. Two hazel eyes sit above a rather dainty nose, and he often wears a pair of ramshackle glasses to help him see. He tends to dress more casually, being more of a nurturer than a fighter, but he has been known to throw a few punches when he feels it's absolutely necessary. Magnus is, despite his bear-like appearance, supremely gentle and much more of a pacifist than many of his peers. Softspoken and even a little shy, he's known for being a good listener and excellent quiet company, though newcomers may be intimidated innitially by his appearance. His large hands are surprisingly gentle, and calloused from his work as a Caretaker. He takes great pride in his work and believes it to be extremely important, while some others may see it is less exciting than being a warrior or a spy. Those close to him would describe Magnus as gentle, careful, devoted, and passionate about his work, even to the extreme. He first came in contact with his dragon, Blizzardwing, when he was twenty-four years old. Much like a stray cat might make themselves at home in a person's house, Magnus awoke one morning to find the massive white beast fast asleep on his porch. Shy and submissive, she didn't fit in with her pack and was essentially ignored, so Magnus took pity on her and decided to make her his partner. Though she still doesn't always listen to his orders, the two are generally good friends, and Blizzardwing's quiet and calm personality is a good match for the gentle giant.

Blizzardwing is massive and covered in spines from head to toe, making her a dangerous dragon to touch. Standing at nearly twenty-five feet tall and almost twice as long, Blizzardwing is pure white and built for cold weather. With sharp claws that can even grip slippery ice and blue-tinted scales for camoflauge, she makes a name for herself as a dragon that can brave tough terrain and extremely low temperatures with ease. Despite her somewhat scary appearance, Blizzardwing is an incredibly calm and easygoing dragon, content to sit by a fire much like a dog while Magnus works. She's exceedingly gentle and soft around humans, and has a shy and friendly personality that makes her a good partner for the gentle giant, Magnus. She is easily frightened by other dragons, especially hostile ones, and tends to flee rather than fight when faced with a particularly angry human. She has a maternal air around her, and gets along quite well with hatchlings and young dragons, as well as human children. She also enjoys herding smaller animals, such as baby dragons, children, or cattle. As a young dragon, she was left behind by her pack for being too weak and easily frightened, and found herself at Magnus's doorstep when she had nowhere else to go. Taking pity on her, Magnus took her as a partner and they have been together for more than a year now.

Azriel (Azzi) Cutter Thornburn . 24| Male | Asexual Biromantic | DoubleShock | Sickle and chain as well as a warhammer | Blacksmith . [ Hot Tempered, Loyal, Brave ] NightFire -x- Azriel is a tall brute of a man, a very classic viking. He stands oddly tall at 6 foot 4 inches and is built like a boulder. He is muscular and thick with broad shoulders He has a heavy, square face with deep inset eyes. His eyes are an odd bright blue color. His skin is a caramel tan color, cooked and darkened by working nonstop with flames and fire. He has a few scorch marks on his forearms. His left shoulder don a spiral shaped tattoo, the Thornburn family crest. He has short cut black hair with a clean cut beard tracing his jawline. Azriel often times is wearing a sleeveless button up shirt wearing fire resistant gloves and heavy duty pants as well as steel-toed war boots. Azriel is a short tempered man, but is is getting better. He no longer likes to fight after an impulsive act caused him to end up seriously inuring Doubleshock. Azriel often snaps quickly but also burns out quickly. Despite his short temperateness he tends to avoid his feelings and doesn't like to confront them. Atlas has had feelings for Katla since he was 19 but never did anything about them. Azriel is also loyal. He's the type of person who will gladly lay down his life in order to protect those he cares about. He can tend to let his loyalty to his family become over-protetiveness but he tries to keep a check on it a lot. Azriel is also brave. He's rushed into burning buildings to pull out loved ones and gone toe to toe with dragons twice his size or more. He doesn't fear much in fact the only thing he fears is the deep ocean. When he was 20 a trader cheated Azriel out of good quality steel which made the weapons he made weak and brittle. He was furious and went after the man's ship. In his rage he didn't realize that he was putting himself and Doubleshock at risk. Doubleshock was shot down and Azriel was dropped into the ocean. Azriel washed up onto a shore and was stranded for four days until he saw the ship passing the island. He swam out to sneak on board the ship and when he got into the haul of the ship he found Doubleshock with a torn wing. One of the "Fingers" and been snapped off and the dragon was missing a segment. Azriel once again went into a rage and ended up killing most of the men on the ship or throwing them overboard. Once he finally returned home, Azriel retired his weapons and vowed to never raise them again unless for the safety of Berk. Azriel's parents where some of the first to die of the strange sickness before it started to spread rapidly. They died when he was 18. Azriel has a crush on Katla.
Doubleshock . Skrill | Male | Azriel | Epsilon . [ Temperamental, Fierce, Protective ] -x-
NightFire Double is a slightly larger male Skrill. He is also oddly colored compared to most Skrills. He is more silver in color rather than purple but has some soft purple details all around his body. His face wears a purple mask, his sides have stripes and the segments of his wing are the same soft purple color. His eyes are a deep purple color. As a young hatchling, he was separated from his parents during a violent storm. He was pushed aside and eventually found his way to Berk where he saw a man sitting on a cliffside grieving in the middle of a thunderstorm. He landed near by but the man paid no mind at first until lightning struck the small dragon. The man saw the dragon and stood which scared double. Double ran into the forest and was followed by the man. He was hit by lightning again and this time cried out for his family. When no roars came back the dragon admitted defeat. Azriel didn't harm the young dragon but instead petted him telling him, "I too have lost my parents. But I'm not alone like you...Why don't we change that?" He said before he took the young Skrill home where Double stayed. Double became very protective of the Thornburn house and forge. After the incident and Double's wing being damaged, he was unable to fly, until Azriel, with the help of Orrik's creative mind, was able to create a fake wing segment that is screwed into the bone and allows the skrill to fly once again.
Orrik James Thornburn . 21 | Male | Bisexual leans Male | Ora | Claymore | Troupe . [ Outgoing, Loving, Pure-hearted ] -x- NightFire Orrik is a bright and outgoing person. He is not nearly as tall as his elder brother but still stands at 5 foot 7 inches. He is of an athletic build and a fair amount of muscles though not at many as his brother. Orrik is a slightly lighter shade than his brother and has shaggy copper- brown hair. His hair is most often pulled into a ponytail so the mess stays out of his face. He has freckles covering his face and bright blue eyes to watch the world in wonder with. He wears a loose green shirt with a weapon holster over his chest. His pants, much like his shirt, and personality, is loose. He wears lace up combat boots, but sometimes forgets to lace them. Orrik is a genuine person. He tries to see the good in everyone and loves to be the person to cheer people up. He wants everyone to be happy and have fun. He's not always the brightest but does try his hardest. He has a big heart and loves all creatures, humans, dragons, anything in between. Orrik has a soft spot for babies and he finds them absolutely adorable. Orrik is hard to piss off and always tries to be positive and keep the mood positive. When his parents died, Orrik saw how much it changed his brother and sister and decided to try to remain happy, for their sake. He tried to be the sunrise for them every morning so they felt a need to be loved. Orrik had gotten lost in the woods one day when he was out gathering wood with his brother and on his way of trying to find his way home found a female Thunderclaw who was crying over an empty nest. Orrik sat and watched her for hours and when she finally stopped, he walked over to her and hugged her. He sat with her and sang her a song to help her fall asleep. The next morning when Orrik tried to go home, she followed and he just let her.
Ora . Thunderclaw | Female | Orrik | Iotas . [ Gentle, Warmhearted, Motherly] -x-
NightFire Ora is a large, and bubbly dragon. She is a deep purple color that leads to an orange-ish yellow color on her underside. She has bright orange eyes. Ora has a few scars on her face from some small minor battles but nothing hideous. She is a gentle and kind loving dragon. She would never hurt a fly or anything to be honest. Ora lost her first ever clutch of eggs to egg thieves and was found grieving by Orrik. He stayed with her and made her feel better causing her to adopt him as her own in a way. She assumes all of the Thornburn children are her own hatchlings and even some of the others. She will often just randomly pick up one of them and carry them off to snuggle which it is almost impossible to get out of a snuggle with her. She even sees Fenrir and Doubleshock as her babies and will sometimes cover them with her wings in order to shelter them from the elements. However, just like a mother should be if any one of her "babies" gets hurt she will go on a rampage in order to protect them. She once destroyed the Thornburn's house because Orrik and Azriel got into a minor fight over the best way for Orrik to get over a cold he had gotten one winter. Upon hearing the two of them yelling, Ora went into a rage and ripped the roof off the house, pushed Azriel to the side, grabbed Orrik and flew into the mountains where she found a cave for them to hide in. She also one time attempted to burn the forge down when Azriel accidentally burned himself.
Blair Kai Thornburn . 20 | Female | Bisexual leans male | Fenrir| Battle Ax| Knight . [ Stubborn, Proud, Spitfire ] -x- NightFire Blair is short, unlike her brothers, she is only five foot two inches but with that short stature comes a build up of power. She hits harder than her two brothers, but she is still fairly slim looking. She has wide shoulders and wide hips. She is the palest of the three siblings being a couple hues paler than Orrik. She also has bright copper colored hair and brilliant blue eyes like the rest of her family. She is covered in freckles all over her body. Blair has a large scar on her shoulder that she got when she was younger. She wears leather leggings with a bunch of pockets on either side of them. She wears a shoulderless loose shirt with drawstrings in the front that are often not pulled tight. Her hair is normally braided in tight braid on either side of her head until they come into a ponytail in order to keep the hair out of her face. Blair is a stubborn person and will do whatever she wants when she wants. She tends to not listen to her brother’s advice (especially when they tell her to dress...not so manly) or when they try to tell her right from wrong. She is however very proud and will sometimes let her pride get the best of her. She often believes that she has the right to do just about anything because of losing her parents. She oftens does things, whether good or bad, in the name of her family. She tends to let her pride of being a girl who can hold her own over her brothers take control of her. She is als like her older brother quick to go, but she tends to burn longer and have sudden bursts of energy. Blair wasn’t as hurt as her brothers when her parents died. She was still sad an became determined to make her family’s name part of history, but she didn’t grieve like her brothers. She wanted to become powerful in order to help save others from death and pain. She went in search one night, without her brothers knowledge, for a mythical flower that could help cure any pain. She wanted it to give her her brothers so they would feel happy again. She got herself up high into the mountains and almost died from the cold. She was saved by a Wolly Howler who had dragged her to his cave and warmed her with his fire. She stayed with him for a day until she was able to move again and then left in search for the flower. She never did find the flower but almost froze, once again. This time the Wooly Howl took her back down the mountain and through the town until Azriel went to get his sister. The Wolly Howl left her and ran when Azriel attacked. Blair was brought back to full health and once she was better she went into the mountain to find the Wolly Howl. Each week she would visit the beast and bring him fish in thanks for saving her life. One day he followed her home and she kept him since.
Fenrir . Wolly Howl | Male | Blair | Epsilon . [ Playful, Loyal, Cunning ] -x-
NightFire Fenrir, is an average sized Wolly Howl. He is a dark slate color, with a lighter grey color underbelly. He has large patches of his fur all over his body. He is a very loyal dragon who never truly grew out of his “puppy” stage. She he saves Blair it was at first just for food but couldn’t bring himself to eat her, when she reminded him of a lost pup, much like he was. He instead wanted to keep her alive and when he saved her the second time he decided she belonged back with her own kind. He left her in the hands of her pack but when she started to visit him often leaving gifts of food he decided it was time to join a pack one again and followed her home. He has a slight hate for Azriel at times because of Azriel hitting him and chasing him off when he brought Blair home but he is slowly learning to trust Azriel. Fenrir is smart and cunning often stealing food from people if he feels like he didn’t get enough for dinner.
Atlas Douglas 21 | Male| Heterosexual | Stormbreaker | Ax and crossbow| Infiltrator [ Sly, Cunning, Intelligent ] -x- NightFire Atlas is a man of mystery. He stands at 5 foot 7 and an half inches. He has fair skin with shaggy blonde hair and silver eyes. He has freckles covering his face. Atlas is missing his right leg from the knee down. He is also missing his right pinky finger. Atlas is found in tattered rags washed up on the beach. He has a necklace that hangs around his neck in the shape of a sun. It’s the only thing he has left of his home. Atlas has lost most of his memory. He remembers his village being burned down which is when he lost his leg and his finger but doesn’t remember much after that. Atlas is skeptical to trust anyone and will often put up walls around himself before letting anyone in. He is a very smart person and thinks about many ideas that most would call impossible. He is an innovator and creator coming up with new ways and ideas. He is a charming man, who is easy to like and when he talks, he tends to persuade people. He is a bit manipulative and will use it to his advantage. He has a great eye for detail and movement.

Nightfire Stormbreaker is a large timberjack male. He is a dusty grey/brown color with wings that lead to a soft yellow color at the end. He has caramel colored eyes and has a scar on his right side of his face over his eye and down his snout and jaw. Storm is protective of Atlas but also very aggressive, attacking anyone that comes too close, or dares to hurt his rider. After being tamed by Atlas Storm, becomes very loyal to his rider’s commands.

Vincent Riggs

Vincent is hot. He stands stands at six (6) foot four (4) inches and weighs two hundred thirty-four (234) pounds of pure muscle. He has a wide build, with board shoulders, and has very little fat due to his cardio routine. Vincent has a shaved head, because he likes the look, and a clean shaven face, but will sometimes rock the bristle look. He has a sharp jawline with high cheek bones, and thick eyebrows, though they aren't overly bushy. He has thin eyes, hooded eyes that are a dazzling hazel. He wears brown cloth pants and long sleeved white shirt, but will sometimes where a dark brown leather jacket when he's riding. His teeth are white, and straight, which only adds to his hotness as he is almost always smiling. Vincent is strong, fast, and has great endurance for someone of his size. He has great ability with people, easy to become friends with and easy to please. Vincent can be a bit flirtatious with anyone, male, female, or other. But he is about as straight as they come.
Vincent was born in a village across the ocean. His father joined was in the military and one day, he didn't return from battle. Leaving Vincent, at the age of thirteen, to help his mother provide for his four younger siblings. When he turned eighteen, he also joined the village military. One day, when he was 24, he over heard commanders of the military discussing a mutiny. He was chased from the military and told never to return. Out of fear of his life, but more out of fear for what they would do to his family if he did return, Vincent left. He started traveling and soon came to Berk.

Riley is handsome and he knows it. He stands at six (6) foot two (2) inches and weighs one hundred ninety-five (195) pounds. He has a slim muscle build and is in great shape. He has light brown skin, silky, thick, black hair, and piercing gray eyes. He has soft features and looks very non-threatening. Riley seems shy, but really he's just quiet. He doesn't like calling a lot of attention to himself. He has an amazing smile that draws you in, but it's rare to see a genuine one. He has the kind of personality that makes you want to be around him. Despite that he is secretive and though he doesn't show his ego the same way most do, he is very proud and egotistical. Riley isn't one to fight, but he will not back down if he feels dishonored in some way.

[ Protective, quiet, kind ]
Unlike most Titan Woolly Howl, Zyla resembles a regular Woolly Howl in every way other than her larger size and the sharp scale at the point of her wing. She is black, other than her pale under belly, which provides a stark contrast in her coloring. Though, it makes it easier for her to sneak at night and blend into the clouds when she flies.

Petite and conventionally beautiful, Reyna doesn't fit the traditional viking mold. She has surprisingly fair, foreign features and comes across as delicate-looking, a dangerous first assumption. Standing at a meager 5'1, Reyna is not the most imtimidating foe you could face in battle, but she makes up for her small size with the sheer force of her personality. She has shoulder-length blonde hair that falls in gentle curls around her collarbone, and sharp pale blue eyes. She takes extra good care of her hair and skin, seeing them as assets that could be used to gain favor with unwilling foes or potential sources of information, and usually appears very well-groomed. She tends to wear light-colored clothes that bare her back and shoulders, as well as close-fitting pants that are easy to move and fly in. She's also fond of cloaks and capes, and will often wear one when it gets too cold out for her usual clothing. Reyna has a strong and outspoken personality, never afraid to speak her mind. Even when the rest of the village doesn't agree with her, she is fiercely stubborn over her opinions and will argue to her last breath in many cases. This happens more often than not. Being a rather vain person, she takes great pride in her appearance and her reputation, desiring to be respected and listened to by whatever means necessary. This stubbornness can also be a strong suit, however, as it makes her very dependable and trustworthy when she puts her mind to something. If you can convince her to join your cause, she will fight until she can't move anymore, and while this trait is not easily exploitable, it makes it worth befriending her. Reyna ame to the island not long ago, and has been a begrudging member of the village ever since. She doesn't get along with with those in positions of power, and tends to argue more than cooperate. Because of this, she's somewhat of an outcast amongst her peers and struggles to find people willing to deal with her harsh and argumentative personality. She has a personal grudge against Astera, looking down on the Commander. She sees Astera as threatening due to her social skills and emotional intelligence, as Reyna herself lacks both of these skills, and is deeply embittered by Astera's friendly and charasmatic personality. Feeling as though she has been effectively exiled from the rest of the village, she seeks to bring others down to her levels of bitterness.

Standing at 35 feet tall, Luna is among the larger of her pack. With two sets of red-tinted wings, she is built for speed and agility, and the extra wings allow her to pull off extremely quick and impressive flight maneuvers. Her scales are smooth and almost leathery to the touch, mostly gray on her underbelly and head, but she has bright red points that fade gradually up her horns, tail, and wings. Like all Stormcutters, she has a flat, smooth face with wide green eyes. She can turn her head a full 360 degrees around, which can come off as somewhat chilling and unsettling to those who are not familiar with her species. Although Stormcutters are traditionally known for having sharp but delicate claws, Luna's claws have dulled with her hybrid nature, and she's lost the dexterity that Stormcutters are known for. She doesn't seem to mind this, however, and takes more pride in her flight abilities. She wears a deep purple bandana around her left foreleg, given to her by Reyna so that she can be easily spotted even among her own kind. Luna is a very friendly and affectionate dragon, fond of cuddling with her rider despite the massive difference in size between the two. She loves to be pet and praised, and is quite friendly herself, in contrast to Reyna's more abrasive personality. Luna is also very meticulate and observant, and has a very sharp memory. Her quick eyes can catch even the smallest of movements, and it makes her an effective hunter and spy. However, she is somewhat shy and submissive, preferring not to get involved in conflicts if she can help it, and is often too afraid to speak her mind on issues that are troubling her. Raised by Reyna as a hatchling on Reyna's home island, Luna bonded to her instinctually, seeing her as somewhat of a mother figure. Having never known her own family, her relationship with Reyna is unlike the partnership often seen between Berk riders and their dragons, and is more reminiscent of a mentor/student relationship than a partnership.
