Orocan purred softly to her when he saw she was awake. โYouโre such a wonderful female...โ he murmured out of the blue as he leaned down and licked her all over.

Onyx didn't seem the slightest bit fazed by his voice, and turned her head to look up at him. She grinned, licking his chin as he leaned over her. "I am pretty great, aren't I?" she teased playfully, her tail entwining with his own.

Onyx thought about it for a moment. She knew exactly what she wanted to do, but resisted the urge of saying anything. She tilted her head, slightly puzzled. "No, you?" she purred.

Orocan shrugged a little and nosed her some on her side and belly. โI dunno. We could just stay up and watch the stars all night.โ He replied. โMaybe get to know each other better...โ he murmured to her as he nosed her a bit more around her belly and down to her tail.

A small shiver rolled down Onyx's spine as he nosed her gently, smiling shyly. "Alright. The stars are beautiful," she added quietly, looking up at the massive male for a moment.

She smiled warmly, slightly so confused at why it was her with him. Onyx touched her nose to his own before looking back out at the beautiful night sky happily. "You don't understand just how happy hearing you say such a thing makes me."

Orocan smiled and settled beside her. He wasnโt tired, and wasnโt sure if she was or not. So he just stayed quiet and looked at the stars that were coming out. โLove you tooโ He murmured happily. He then turned to look down at her to see if she was sleepy. โAre you tired, my love?โ

She got into position, took careful aim, made a minuscule opening in her mouth, then shot a needle-like stream of water straight at the object, with concussive force, in the attempt to ram it out of his mouth before something happened. He then turned to look down at her to see if she was sleepy. โAre you tired, my love?โ Despite two rests, she indeed did feel tired. Nodding wearily, the female nuzzled him once more before standing and stretching. "Do you have a cave somewhere? I'm not used to sleeping in the open during night..." Onyx explained quietly, her tail flicking as she thought. The black dragon slept deeply, restlessly. She'd only recently lost her father- of course they'd been close, and of course she wasn't thinking straight. The humans- the same ones that had taken her father from her- waited until it was time. "Now, slowly. Quietly," explained a soldier inaudibly, creeping forward with a sword in one hand, a shield in the other. His fellow soldier followed with hesitance, holding the same weaponry. The first took a few more steps, and plunged the sword into the dragon's wing. With a jolt, it awoke from it's 'slumber' and let out a pain-filled roar, turning on the soldiers and opening it's jaws. The dragon released a bright, blue flame that scorched everything in it's path, including the second soldier. The first was only caught by the shield, and tried to stab the dragon once more. However, it swung it's might tail into the human and sent it flying into a tree. It roared once more, with fury, and let out a long burst of flame until nothing remained but ashes. In fear, it ran away into the night."Or at least, not fond of it." |

Orocan looked around slowly. โIโm sorry but I donโt know if a cave big enough to hold both of us...โ he murmured as he nuzzled her head. โBut I can make one.โ He murmured. He took in a deep breath and he spewed out, and the fire that came out started building up a stoney wall and soon a small cave was made around her, covering her head and he formed most of the walls, with only a small opening so air could get in.

Onyx's eyes widened as the caved formed around her. She was quite clearly astonished. "What about you though?" she asked after an awe filled gasp escaped her. The female really didn't want to be alone, and especially didn't want Orocan to be outside unprotected.

She nodded slowly, uncertainly, and frowned slightly. The smaller female flinched slightly at his touch, but almost immediately accepted it and leaned against him once more. "Good," she purred, closing her eyes after making sure he'd be alright.

She smiled at his remark, nuzzling his much larger head with affection. Giving up anything of 'being strangers' that she'd brought up before, Onyx slowly nodded off into a restful and peaceful sleep- her muzzle still pressed against his own.
