π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β Uh oh. Judging by her monologue, Zack assumed that she, in fact, did not have a friend nearby to take her home. He sighed. "No, it's fine, you didn't ruin anything. Swear!" he assured her, waving his hands in protest. "Hey uh...wait here a sec." He turned around and walked back to where he'd left his bat. He packed it up in his bookbag, along with the spare baseballs he'd brought. He would have to leave the machine here overnight; it'd be an inconvenience to whoever got here first tomorrow, but he didn't exactly have time to put it away.
He threw the pack over his shoulder and marched back over to the tipsy girl. She seemed exhausted. How did she think she could actually make it home on her own? "Alright, where do you live?" he asked casually, amber gaze trained on her. "I'll go with you."

Sarah let out a sigh as the drink was slid towards her open hand, taking a sip of it and watching the TV, never minding the comment made by the bartender. It was then that she figured she'd make some kind of comment, before things turned awkward. "Slow day, huh?" She spoke, turning to look towards the bartender. There was currently nobody else in the bar, the bartender and her the only ones at that hour of the night. Surprising, really. Holding her drink, and taking some more small sips of it, making sure not to overdo it, she let out a sigh. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. Not even because of events or anything like that happening, it's just that she could feel it.

"Plus, it's getting really crowded, I'm sure the cops will be shutting the party down soon." She said in a suggestive tone.

And it was true; it had been a mostly quiet shift. It was just a bit ago that it became stressful. "That party that just left, they disturbed the peace. Luckily I haven't had to deal with too much outside of that." Ahh, Julian was starting to get chatty. He tended to do that in general, but also as a form of stress relief, one could say. β½Boopβ½ Finn wasn't looking at Chris, but when he heard the other man announce his departure, his head instinctively shot up from staring down at the bowl of food. He opened his mouth to say something, but Christopher was already leaving.
The entire encounter with that mysterious man replayed itself in Finn's mind. His red eyes, his very realistic-looking fangs, the way he covered his nose when there were two people in his presence. How he didn't eat any of the food here. And suddenly, he was leaving.
Suspicion flared inside him. To any other person, Chris would probably just be seen as a solitary guy who wasn't quite comfortable around others. But Finn knew better. He had been taught better. And because of this, his instincts screamed at him to follow the guy. So he did.
He went a separate way than Chris, so as not to be caught following him. He moved through the crowd of people until he managed to reach the back door of the house. Crisp, chilly air greeted him as he stepped outside into the night. He pulled his jacket tighter around his body, and secured the toboggan on his head. Why did he feel like this chill was giving him some sort of warning?
Fallen leaves crunched as he sneaked around the side of the large house, and he had to take slower steps so as not to make more noise. But finally, he reached the front yard where all of the cars were parked. Peering around the corner, Finn saw Christopher's taller, dark silhouette juxtaposed with the moonlight as he made his way to one of the cars. Finn's green eyes narrowed, watching like a hawk.
And he had been right to, though maybe he wished that he hadn't. Because it wasn't long before he saw the glint of red in the overhead light of Christopher's car, and to Finn's horror, he watched as his suspicions of Christopher were confirmed.
His shoes thudded loudly over the fallen leaves as he ran from his hiding place, revealing himself in the light cast by the moon overhead. This was crazy. But Finn wasn't thinking. All he knew was that Christopher was a vampire, and it was Finn's job to stop him. He had to do...something. He halted in front of Christopher's car, chest rising and falling as he gasped for breath. Though he didn't say anything, his green eyes sparked with accusation as his mind calculated on what he should do. α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ (HOOOOOO BOOOYYYY LES GOOOOOO) Christopher drained the packet; after all the red liquid disappeared he crumpled it in hands. There. That should get him through for a while. Given how thirsty he was, the packet probably wouldn't satisfy him completely. But at least he was safe from causing any havoc at random college kids' Halloween parties.
Or...was he.
His gaze, which had shifted mostly back to green, slowly lifted to find the same boy from earlier. Finn, was it? He was standing in front of Christopher's car, and he had clearly seen everything. Ahh...my mistakes have finally caught up to me, it seems. He knew everything he'd done was a big risk, and yet his wits never stopped him. And now he had a witness to...very condemning acts. There was no point in trying to play it off at this point. What could he say? 'I was drinking a raspberry capri sun?' The look on Finn's face told him he wouldn't buy it. And Christopher wasn't stupid; he knew the mortals suspected the existence of his kind. There was no way this guy didn't realize it now.
There was nothing else to do. Christopher threw the empty packet into the passenger's seat and exited the car. The door closed with a deliberate 'click', and Christopher faced Finn, his dark-clad form tall and menacing. His bright green eyes flashed in the moonlight, a hint of red still leftover from not being entirely quenched. A small drop of blood dripped from his lip down his chin, a sloppy mistake.
Truth be told, Chris hated the situation. He almost never hunted the mortals, his diet almost entirely consisting of the blood packets Brooke stole from the clinic. But at this point, he had no choice. If he bit Finn, he could make the boy forget everything he saw here tonight. There was no way he could let Finn walk away with the knowledge of what he was; it'd put his life and Brooke's in danger. So he had to bite. If Finn ran, he would give chase. He had to.
"I'm sorry about this. I really am." he quietly muttered in condolence, and rushed forward.

β½Boopβ½A gasp escaped his throat, and Finn instinctively threw up his arm to protect himself as the other man's body collided into his. Finn had once been told that vampires had the ability to make their victims forget the night they feasted on their blood. But in that moment of fight-or-flight, all Finn could think about was the fact that he was being attacked by a vampire.
He fell on the ground with a thud, scrambling backwards on his hands and feet as Christopher's menacing form loomed over him. He could see a glint of red in the vampire's green eyes, the sharp fangs that protruded from his mouth, the blood that still traced his chin. If Finn didn't do something now, he could very well be dead soon.
A sharp glow suddenly took on his features. He quickly shifted his body so that he was standing on all fours, his hands and feet firmly planted on the ground. In the next moment, the glow swelled into a brighter light, and his form began to change. He grew taller, his entire body encased in light, until suddenly, the light disappeared, and Finn's human body was replaced with that of a giant brown wolf.
The wolf swiveled his head to glare at Christopher with orange eyes, their heights now equal. Finn's lips pulled back into a reluctant snarl, revealing his large fangs. I HAVE to do this, he reassured himself, before crouching his body and lunging at the vampire.

α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Christopher's eyes widened in mingled shock and fear and he backed away as the boy in front of him was suddenly replaced by a giant wolf. The beast was as tall as he was, with brown fur and glinting orange eyes, like fire in the moonlight.
Right then, it all clicked. the dog smell, the automatic suspicion. Christopher never stood a chance.
Because Finn was a werewolf.
Change of plan, change of plan! The thoughts rushed through his mind as the wolf advanced on him. There was no way he could face a werewolf; he'd be dead in seconds. He ducked out of the way as the wolf lunged past him, strong jaws with glinting white fangs passing an inch away from his ear. Then Christopher took off for the woods as fast as his admittedly-not-well-exercised legs could carry him, not looking back to see how close Finn was behind him.
He didn't know what would happen amongst the darkened trees; his only hope was that he could either get away, or at least take the scene of the fight away from the partying mortals.

( i'm enjoying watching the drama from the sidelines lol ) ( π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β ) .samael. Samael quickly caught onto Adelaide's suggestive tone, raising his eyebrow and a real smile pricking at his lips. "Oh yeah? Where would you like to head off to?" He was hoping that she'd want to head out somewhere... remote... somewhere where nobody could hear her screams. But that was likely not going to happen. Sigh. Guess he'll have to do it the old fashioned way... by dragging her into an alley late in the night and, well, proceeding to do his thing. But either way, he had to make this quick. "There's a greasy spoon down the road, if you'd like." Truth be told, there was one nearby, but... not as close as he suggested it to be. Hopefully she fell for it, she seemed like the type to. ( β½Boopβ½ ) .sarah. Sarah looked at him as she swirled her drink around in the glass, a soft smile on her face. "Yeah, seemed like a rowdy crowd." When she was just getting out of her car, they were making those Dracula faces at her with the raised hands and the bared teeth that you see everywhere, and with the classic "I vant to suck your blood!" line, that to a real vampire seemed ridiculous. Especially when the people doing them were pretty wasted. She couldn't help but laugh at the memory, because of its comedic effect and well... the slight bit of nervousness that poked at her mind. She couldn't help but think, over and over again, what if they, the humans, the mere mortals, were onto something? She just had to shake her head to rid herself of those thoughts. They've consumed her into their endless pits of paranoia many times before, she's not going to let them do it to her now. Looking towards the TV, Sarah began to gently bop her head to the music playing over the radio. It music from a little bit after her prime, but she still found it good anyways. "Anything interesting happen today?" She began to feel a little bit bad, because she wasn't as interesting today as she normally likes to think of herself as. Oh well. Today so far has been kind of the long day for her, so maybe she was just tired.

bullets My character form is done, if you still want to rp ^^ It's fine if you don't though)) Daniel Morgan Werewolf | 18 | Male | Pansexual Description: Daniel is a natural red-head, but when his hair was much shorter it was died black. Now that it has grown out, his natural roots have begun to show. Others have joked that it makes him look like a fox. Besides the unique coloring, his hair is wavy, and long enough to fall around his ears. Height-wise, he is about average, with an athletic build and toned muscles. His eyes are a deep emerald green, with a few faint flecks of brown around the pupil. Daniel can usually be seen wearing a black varsity jacket with burnt orange sleeves--the colors of his school. He also wears converse, and sometimes a beanie or a baseball cap. His wolf form is large, his fur taking on a reddish-auburn hue, and his eyes change from green to deep brown. Personality: Daniel is a bit of a hot-head. He's strong, and usually tries to get his way through brute force rather than kind words. His social character could definitely use some work. If others bother him, he tends to be rude and sarcastic. But he has great ambition, always striving to be the best at what he does. His natural competitiveness and general demeanor makes it hard for him to make friends though. But if you can manage to find his good side, then you'll find no protector more loyal than him. Background (optional): Daniel is a senior and plays baseball at his local highschool. It'd be rare to find him without his trusty baseball bat. He also has a bit of an art aesthetic, hence his experimenting with hair colors. But that's something he doesn't really talk about; the fact that this stone-cold athlete enjoys something as refined as the arts. It's his secret hobby. As for the conflict going on between his kind and the vampires, he doesn't give it much thought. If he sees a vampire, he fights it, simple as that. He's a lone wolf with no pack to call his own, but perhaps it's better that way. [@/draniads]

β½Boopβ½ Finn's powerful jaws clamped down onto empty air, just barely missing the vampire as Christopher ducked out of the way. He skidded to a halt in front of the car, an inch away from crashing into it. Where is he going? The wolf swiveled his head around to see that Chris was hightailing it across the yard, to the street and the dark woods that waited on the other side.
Then he heard a scream sound from behind him. Turning back, he saw college kids beginning to crowd around the front porch, their gasps of awe and horror ringing across the yard to Finn's ears. They weren't seeing Finn--instead, they were seeing an abnormally large wolf attacking what appeared to be a defenseless human.
Finn knew that Riley would be among them, and she was probably terrified. It would be wise to chase this vampire away from the mortals, to keep them safe from Christopher, and also so as not to scare them any more. So he turned back to the fleeing vampire, a threatening growl sounding in his throat as he launched himself forward and gave chase.
Christopher would already have disappeared into the trees by now, but Finn knew that it wouldn't be long before he caught up to him. His large paws thudded against asphalt as he crossed the street. Headlights flooded over his features and a car came barreling down on him, but he made it to the other side before he could be hit. Whoever was inside must have slammed on breaks, because the car suddenly came to a stop.
But Finn had no time to worry about more humans gawking at him. He had to get out of here, he had to chase that blood-sucking vampire out of here, because it was a duty given to him by his pack that he had to protect humans, at all costs. So he bounded through the trees, racing past shadows, looking hungrily for his target. When he finally saw Christopher again, he growled loudly, signalling his advancement.
