He snorted as Dappledstar started to speak, but generally left her in peace. Two new warriors, one new apprentice, prey scarce; nothing that they didn't know already, nothing that they couldn't tell on their own. She was getting restless. Nettlestar looked restless. And then Fallowstar had to open her mouth.
"It is time to leave this place," she proclaimed loudly, causing a ripple of whispers to pass through the cats on the ground. "The journeying cats have come home, and they have found a new place for us to stay- all of us, with plenty of prey and suitable camps!"
Nettlestar seemed to have energy crawling underneath his fur as the clans grew louder, as a satisfied grin crossed the faces of the other leaders.
"All five of us will go-"
"SkyClan will not be accompanying this journey," Nettlestar spat loudly, glaring at the other leaders as they blinked wildly. "You do not speak for my clan. You do not speak for my cats. You mock us, belittle us, and while you have helped others in their times of need, my cats are starving worse than any in your clans. May StarClan frown upon your expedition!"
The murmuring of the other clans reached a pitch even as the SkyClan cats processed the information, backing up into a tighter group at the sudden hissing from the other clans. "Where will we go?" Owlpaw's voice was quiet, body on edge as Birchwhisper and Wrenleaf quickly approached.
"We're going back to camp soon," Birchwhisper murmured softly. "Apparently, StarClan's told Nettlestar and Wrenleaf where our ancestors went when they split off. We'll have to make the same journey that they did."

Meluin nearly slapped a hand over his mouth in embarrassment as he felt a slight blush tinge his cheeks. Had he really just asked her that? It was such a personal question, and yet she answered simply with a smile on her face. His entire form perked up when he registered what she had said. “Oh, Oh! That’s amazing! Do you have a lot of experience? How long have you been traveling? Does this mean you’re mercenaries? How many bandits have you taken down?” He could barely keep the words from flowing out of his mouth like a waterfall, “Have you ever seen a troll? Are there any more of you? Do you guys mind having others with you? If they pull their weight, of course!” He stopped himself with a hand across his mouth, pulling it away to reveal a sheepish smile as he asked quietly, “Am I asking too many questions?” Ears quivering slightly, he wrung his hands in sudden anxiety. Was she going to snap and be angry now? Sometimes people got overwhelmed at his curious nature, but he never meant it in a bad way. It just fascinated him to learned about others and the world around him.

Roleplay Example: Boragepaw grew easily impatient with waiting for Frostedwillow and Gooseberry, who were still talking about meaningless things, or so that's what he assumed. The young tom's gaze met his sister's similar pelt, but in his mind, the two couldn't be anything more than strangers. Daffodilpaw was not his littermate, sister, or denmate. His brooding gaze rested on the pale she-cat momentarily before he turned around, seeing that Frostedwillow was headed in Daffodilpaw's direction. If the white warrior was going to take his sister out on a patrol that meant... oh, StarClan, no.
It was the last thing he had expected for the day and so was a flick of a dark tail, coming from a large tom. Rattled by Hollyshade's swift movement, the cream tabby tom felt a jolt go through his body. A grunt of discontent left the apprentice's maw as he turned to face his mentor. "There you are," he meowed flatly.
In the meantime, Frostedwillow had padded up to Daffodilpaw and the apprentice could still see part of her white pelt in his peripheral. She could hear the loud she-cat asking the cream apprentice if she wanted to go on a patrol as she had ask Gooseberry if she could take the first one out for the day. The deputy had agreed, only if it was more than two cats. In his theory, that meant he, Hollyshade, Frostedwillow, and, dare he say it, Daffodilpaw were stuck together.
"Got a clue of what's going on today, Hollyshade?" Boragepaw asked, pricking his ears up. If Frostedwillow's thundering meows haven't given him a clue, I wouldn't be surprised. Hollyshade may be powerful for his size, but that doesn't make him a smart cat by all means.
Meanwhile, not too far away was Frostedwillow, proposing ideas for his sister. "So, Daffodilpaw. Would you rather hunt, train, or mark the borders today?" the white feline asked her apprentice, bouncing on her paws. "Whichever you pick, we'll have to bring others along with us, so choose wisely!"

The air seemed stale, like nothing had changed in weeks, which was odd considering Scarpaw was standing in the center of the forest, a cool breeze rustling the trees around her. She was alone, and everything seemed bigger than normal. It wasn't odd that things were big to her, as she was a rather small she-cat, but it was like she was a kit again... Scarpaw stepped forward, her paws silent against the forest floor, but then she froze. A crack of a twig off to her left, she turned her head to find a fox staring her down. Her heart skipped a beat. No...No, not again. She thought to herself. She needed to run, she needed to get away, but her paws were stuck to the forest floor. The fox stepped toward her, snarling. The small she-cat lowered herself to the ground, making herself as small as possible as if it would some how deter the fox from attacking. The fox continued forward. Scarpaw knew that she only had a few moments to react before she was going to die, and her body still felt like it was frozen to the spot. She forced herself up on shaking legs, her back arches as she began to step backward away from the advancing fox...it was the wrong move. The moment Scarpaw stepped back, the fox attacked. Out of fear, Scarpaw stepped back, but a single claw of the fox caught the left eye of the apprentice. All she could see was red. She turned to run, feeling the fox's paw catch her side and throw her back. It was happening again, just like last time...She could feel her long, thick fur becoming wet with blood as she tried to push herself to her paws once more. She could hear the fox approaching to finish her, but she was using all of her strength to focus on getting to her paws and running back to camp. That was when she heard it. That familiar yowl. Scarpaw looked up to find a black she-cat with ginger markings running toward her. A she-cat she thought she'd never see again. No, get back! Don't help me. You'll get hurt. Scarpaw thought as she watched the she-cat launch herself through the air at the fox. "Fireshade!" The sound of a tom's voice broke through the growls and hisses. Scarpaw looked up to see a ginger top with white markings running at full speed through the trees. While Scarpaw was watching the tom, she heard the sickening thack of a body hitting a tree and turned back to see that the she-cat had been thrown by the fox. Blood oozed from a wound around her neck, her eyes stared at Scarpaw, but didn't really seem to see her. N-No...No, no, no.
Scarpaw's eyes snapped open, her body seemed cold despite the warm moss around her, and she felt like she couldn't get any air into her lungs. She pushed herself to her paws and padded silently out of the apprentice's den. "It was just a dream." She murmured to herself as she looked around the silent camp. "Just a dream."

Echobounce - Optimistic, full of sunshine, always trying to look on the bright side. Though, she also isn't the smartest, and her cheery attitude and lack of hind sight allows her to easily be manipulated. Reckless. Doesn't think before she talks.
Thornpatch - Similar to Stagwatcher, enjoys a lot of dad humor, is very loud when he talks without realizing it, is quick to talk down disputes before they begin. He takes enjoyment from a hard day of work, and personally likes to bare the responsibility of keeping those around him safe, and well fed.
Dimhaze - Edgy. Edgy. Edgy. Talks in a low, graveled voice that sounds like he was once chewing on some rocks. Resigned posture, dramatic, always quick to look on the dim side of things. Hopeless. Extremely feminine. Is he ironic with his attitude or not? It's hard to tell.
Cloverpaw - Manipulative, self centered, coy, eager for personal gain. There's still a good side in her somewhere, but it was clouded by an ambition to become stronger. She feels like bullying others means that she can't be bullied. She feels that by being the strongest, that makes her the best. Would not turn a blind eye to breaking the rules of it meant she would get something out of it.
Sagepaw - Wishes to become the medicine cat apprentice, but if the position can not be opened to allow two, he will resign to staying an apprentice. Exhibits no spirituality to any one patron, but instead finds solace in all of them, if that is acceptable. Sagepaw is, as the name suggests, an incredibly saintly tom. He seems wise beyond his years. Has a very calm attitude, shows a disapproval of battle, and is overall very graceful. Everything he does, he does for the glory of the Great Beasts, he is very devout in worship.
Featherfall - Paranoid, anxious, and an emotional wreck, though she tries to mask her pain from her clan mates so as to not bring them worry. Three moons ago Featherfall gave birth to a healthy litter of kits with her former mate, but the molly could not produce milk. Her body simply did not make any, even herbs to help the flow did not work. She was the only queen in the nursery at the time, and thus, no others could feed her kits for her. The kits did not survive. That impacted Featherfall, making her deeply depressed, and paranoid of the world around her. Her complete shift in personality caused her and her former mate to break apart. Despite all of this, Featherfall has gotten back into providing for her clan. She masks the depression well, but her anxiety is ever present, even today.
Smoke that Rises on Mountain - Goes by Smoke. Came to the clan as a traveling nomad, with no knowledge of clan life. Acts strangely because she came from a different culture, with it's own body language and way of speaking. Smoke has BPD, meaning that in short, her emotions are very all or nothing. If she's happy she is extremely so, and if she is sad, she is very depressed. Her most common emotions are joy, and anger - sadness she has a pretty good hold on. Despite this, Smoke tries to act calm and collected, as her home land promotes inner peace, and tranquility. But Smoke doesn't seem to have any of that yet.

Morning for Bluerose came as restless as the sun, like some other cats, Bluerose had not slept that night. She stay posted outside of her den, watching the warriors go about providing the camp entrance with a barricade that would hopefully be enough to stave away the pools of water threatening to enter. How could she have slept? Bluerose was the sole medicine cat, if anything were to happen she needed to be the first one there to help. So when morning eventually arrived, and the pitter patter of rain dissipated, relief breathed into her for the first time that whole night. Thank you StarClan, your protection is so greatly needed in this time... She sent a short prayer with a dipped head.
When she lifted her gaze again, her eyes fell upon Howlingstar, who had just leapt from the perch of his den. Bluerose did not smile in greeting, but she did not frown, rather she kept the same emotionless expression as she always did as she picked herself up and began to trot towards him. The smooth rock under paw glided her across the camp and towards him. Only a couple moons ago Bluerose had to deliver the news that his kits were dead... It was the hardest part of her job, she had to be there to watch the anguish roll over the cats faces. She was never good at comforting, so it proved to be... awkward. But to deliver such news to Howlingstar... That was the hardest thing she had ever had to do.
"Good morning." She said curtly as she seated herself beside him, flicking her tail idly over her paws and looking towards the ceiling. Even though he stomachs it well, I know Howlingstar is still upset over such a loss... He won't speak of it to me, though. Ancestors, please bless him with your grace, and mercy. She looked back down again and towards her leader. "The spirits have shown us kindness, this morning. The rain's have stopped, and the storm clouds are being swept away. Things are really looking brighter for FrostClan." She spoke robotically.

Nightwisher - - snowsky and thymeskip look great! i don't, however, think scarpaw is entirely realistic? i don't believe that her parents would have named her scarkit, and it's honestly pretty unlikely that she would have received those scars as a kitten. the dead parents i could probably understand, but i think she'd have at least some relations somewhere like uncles and aunts and whatnot. i hope i don't sound rude, this is just coming from a realistic point of view.
𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 ꕤ - - i love your cats, but i'm not so sure about theifpaw and faithpaw's names ^.^' i don't think that bullying another cat would cause a name to be changed, and faith isn't really a prefix that the cat's would consider, i think. i also have a slight issue with the 'relentlessly bullying littlepaw' part, mostly because ascend wasn't aware that you had decided on that for your character. perhaps the two of you could discuss that and figure something out?
overall, i do enjoy your cats, but these notes are issues that myself and the mods have discussed. i hope i'm not being rude, and if i am i'm sorry, but we would like to keep this clan as realistic as possible ^.^ thank you for your interest in us! |

I would be fine with Scarpaw having siblings, as long as the parents are dead, which is really the only important part. And that it's more or less Scarpaw's fault for that, so that could cause some drama. Thymeskip is gay, so the kit thing really isn't an issue at all. |

As the joining post is pretty basic, and I didn't feel like adding the history to something as basic as a one line description. Scarpaw's father demanded her named be changed from Firekit to Scarkit after she got the scars, as the attack that caused them got her mother killed. The attack that had happened was caused by her sneaking from the camp, and was attacked by a fox. She barley survived it, only due to her mother finding her just in time, and then a patrol of cats jumping in soon after, though not before her mother had received fatal wounds. Scarkit accepted the name change, saying it should happen as well as her owning the consequences of her actions. She never sneaked from the camp after that. Thus the name. Basically it was an event of pure luck and deus ex machina. If that's not a realistic enough explanation, I will happily change the name. I don't think you're being rude at all, just calling out a very obvious flaw. So no worries. |

Ears perked with concentration, Splinterpaw listened with an intensity that made his whiskers twitch and his nose screw up slightly. Watching his mentor's skilled paws work, finding herbs in their various spots seemingly without even looking. His eyes lit up every time his mentor would explain something new, every word he desperately tried to bury in his memory, fearful that he might forget the most important thing if he didn't. Compared to his companion medicine cats, the dark furred apprentice was still rather knew to the world of medicine. And though he tried to keep up as best as he could, at times he felt he made an utter fool of himself. But he wouldn't let that get him down if it cost him his life, being a medicine cat had been his dream for as long as he could remember. And he wasn't going to let a little adversity get him down.
Deep in thought, he seemed not to have noticed his mentor had stopped moving about and turned to look at him. A grin etched into her expression, but it wasn't a cruel one which Splinterpaw was thankful to see. "Do I need to repeat anything?" She asked with a soothing calm to her tone of voice that always brought a warmth to the young tom's chest. "Or do you have it?"
Thinking carefully, he ran everything through his head as best as he could, trying to think of anything he might question or double check, and was grateful to find that for now he didn't. As a result, he shook his head with a bright smile on his own face this time. In response to which the medicine cat only chuckled, "Good, you have worked hard. Go get yourself something to eat," she explained with a flick of her tail in dismissal. Splinterpaw didn't need to be asked twice, it felt like his stomach was attempting to duplicate the sounds of a dying wolf in its attempts to make its hunger known.
Spinning on his hind paws, he was gone from the den like a fork of lightning from the skies. Skidding out of the den, narrowly avoiding stumbling through an older warrior, he muttered a quick apology before bounding on again. Tail high in the air with pride, eyes concentrating on the pile ahead to reap the rewards of his hard work.
