Alex shot Shorts a fierce look, but it only lasted a moment as her thoughts began to collect themselves. Shorts was right to try and stop her, but could she convince herself that? The girl took a reluctant step back behind the taller pirate, yet her eyes stayed trained on the scene happening before them. Her heart was thumping wildly, but not nearly as much as the children cowering before the Captain. It was all she could do to not run out there and make a huge mistake.
Oakley turned his head to glance at Ellie, realizing that she hadn't understood Hook's question. Maybe that was for the best. If she had, what would she have said? Would she have potentially given away Emily and Zack's location? Oakley might have been trusting enough to do the same, had he not already had a deep mistrust in adults. Especially when those adults turned out to be violent pirates. "We're not 'Darling' children, and we don't know any 'Darling' children," he answered the Captain in a defensive tone. His lip poked out indignantly, and he glared up at the Captain with pure loathing in his eyes.

Captain Hook stared at the children for a long silent minute. His mustache curled as his mind ticked. His wild gaze left the children that were in front of him and onto the crowd around them. The pirates backed up and watched him with urge. During these โpresentationsโ it was unpredictable since Hook can kill anyone at anytime. It wouldnโt matter if they were the original crew member or a child especially with pesky children. โShorts!โ He yelped for his present now.
Shorts ran through the crowd. Pushing, and shoving, or crew members heard him coming and moved for him. Less than a minute later he was in front of Hook and visually shaking as he stood. โYes Captain?โ His tone was submissive to the manโs wits and wants.
Captain Hook circled Shorts like a shark in the water until he stood behind the young man. โIs there anything to report that the children said.โ
โSuch as?โ Shorts responded; which he felt the tip of the hook on the side of his neck. It was a warning for him to answer the question quickly. โThe children here said they had friends on the beach.โ
Captain Hook turned to the children. โIs this true?โ

โIโll teach you to fly.โ Emily said after Zack walked away, but watched the others interaction. She stood in the same spot where her and Zack stood for their short discussion. At this point she adjusted her posture where she stood up tall and her hands smooth out her clothes. For a moment Emilyโs brown eyes glanced down to her feet. It was a little bit dirty up where the sand and dirt was in between her toes and up to her ankles. A sigh escaped from her lips while she could hear the exchange and felt the need to hide her toes. Not that it made sense, and yet she knew no one else was looking at her bare feet. Perhaps that made her feel better. Just a little.
When she heard the deals be official she glanced back up at the crew while fiddling with her fingers. โJulian and Pearl, right?โ Emily asked to see if her memory was still good or not. โAre you able to help Zack and I by dusting us with pixie dust?โ

Ellie gulped as the towering pirate Captain turned his menacing glare back on her and Oakley. He was terrifying, to be sure, and for a second she almost blurted out the truth out of fear. But she thought of Oakley and how he was still trying to protect their friends, even though he himself was in extreme danger. I want to protect them, too. She thought, her frightened blue eyes gazing up at the tall figure almost in defiance. I donโt want them to get captured because of me. So, summoning her courage, her trembly voice spoke. โW-we donโt have any friends, sir. Me and Oakley w-woke up on the beach...just us.โ
โPff, youโre more stupid than I thought, trying to lie to Captain Hook like that.โ A voice suddenly cut through the salty air as leather boots pounded against the wooden deck. Some pirates moved aside, making a pathway for the woman as she held a hand to the hilt of her rapier threateningly. Spencer stopped a short distance behind the children, her other hand bracing her hip confidently. A devilish smirk stretched the corner of her lips, and her hazel eyes showed snark. โThere are other children; Iโve caught a glimpse of them. We werenโt able to follow them, but my fairies are tracking them through the jungle as we speak. They should arrive at any moment with information.โ
(I hope itโs okay that I inserted Spencer there, let me know if it messes up anything and I need to change it!)
Silver and blue heads nodded in unison. โYes, it should be quite simple for the two of us.โ Julian answered Emilyโs question, his confidence returning in full shine at the opportunity to impress an audience.
โAlright, so how does this work? How do we fly?โ Zack interrupted, anxious to get moving. His fists clenched and unclenched in anticipation, and he seemed to almost vibrate in place. He was nervous about flying, and perhaps a little bit skeptical, but he also wanted to to hurry up and get to the ship.
โPatience, patience!โ Pearl giggled from the air above him. โFirst, youโll need the pixie dust. Itโs your first time, so be careful and donโt freak out!โ And with that, she floated closer to the blond boy, hovering around his face. A pile of golden-colored powder appeared in the palm of her hand seemingly out of nowhere, and she immediately threw the whole thing into his face, the dust spreading out over his cheeks and his eyelids and up his nose. He sneezed, and at that moment his body suddenly felt much lighter, as if he were a balloon weighed down only by a small stone, or perhaps merely sheer willpower. He lifted his arms slightly and stared at them, and down at his legs. His feet were just barely touching the ground, occasionally lifting an inch or so and then floating back down. โWoah...this is weird.โ he breathed, awed. โNot freaking out...not freaking out...โ he repeated to himself as he tried to keep his feet firmly on the ground, to no avail.
Pearl giggled above him once again, her tiny hand gently covering her mouth. โMan, I donโt get to see this often enough. You should see the look on your face!โ Meanwhile Julian had floated over to Emily, a handful of pixie dust at the ready. โA gift for you, my lady.โ he purred, and sprinkled the golden powder over the girlโs head, much more careful than the other fairy. It drifted down on and around her, much like a light snowfall.

Oakley seemed to slump against the ropes, as though in defeat. He had to commend Ellie for trying to keep up the lie in order to save their friends. But he knew that between Short's testimony and the words of the woman with the sword, no matter what they said the Captain was bound to take their word over the children's. It was no use. However, he couldn't say the words aloud, and instead chose to stay silent as he started down at his feet.
Since Shorts was summoned by Captain Hook, Alex was now standing alone on the deck of the ship with no one to hide behind. And no one to stop her from lashing out. She glanced over as Spencer suddenly made a grand appearance, regaling her account to the Captain with an air of complacency and authority over the lower members, such as herself. Her hands balled into tight fists, the knuckles turning pale. She hated that pirate, who seemed to garner respect from the others just from that sword she always carried at her belt. And the fact that Spencer was basically the Captain's right hand, other than Smee of course.
"How can we be sure you're right?" Alex called from where she was. The girl stalked forward with squared shoulders, coming to stand in front of Spencer with clear hostility in her stance. "You probably didn't see any children at all. I bet you can't see anything over your pompous attitude and that stuck-up nose of yours!" She crossed her arms, and her lips spread into a taunting smirk. "Maybe you're just saying that because you want to look good for the Captain. But I bet if it weren't for that sword you've got, no one here would believe you! So, what about it? I bet without that sword, you couldn't even beat me." Her words were a challenge in the hopes that it would distract everyone from the children, even if only for a moment. And if possible, maybe Alex could knock Spencer down a peg or two while she was at it.

(I didn't realize it was my turn until now. Sorry guys :0) ( แดแดสสแดแดแดแดษชแด , Alright. I do want to ask first before I do it is it okay if Captain Hook ordered his men to go fetch Alex? Since she challenging Spencer for a fight he'll probably want to see that happen later. For now I'm going to reply to the other post with pixie dust and stuff.) Emily was joyful when her suggestion came true and ecstatic when the pixie dust was presented to her that she was speechless. Her bare feet lifted off ground as the pixie dust either absorbed on top of her head or rolled off of her like snow fall. She held her hand out and watched some of the golden dust disappear or sustain on her finger tips. The gold felt like as air and sprinkled like glitter. After all these years of her family members telling her stories about the ability to fly once they were going to Neverland, this was the day she waited for for years. This was something she possibly seen in her dreams many many times only to wake up in her slumber on school days.
Once she woken up from her daze, or what felt like one, she realized she was only a few inches off the ground and her hand was still out. This adrenaline was still live in every of her heart beat from this moment and she focused. Emily twirled in mid air slowly to get the feel of the air around her. After she was placed in one spot again she glanced up. As far as she could tell it was large jungle leaves covering the sunlight. In her curiosity she flew higher and higher when she able to touch the tree leaves and gently was able to push them to one side, so her and the others can start flying out of the jungle maze before them.
As soon as she was able to fly above the leaves, Emily hovered over the jungle and her jaw dropped at the view of the island. Of course, some of them were tall hills where the natives or some of the wild animals might be. Though the rest of Neverland was evergreen or notably tropical like an island would normally be. At this point of the hour it was getting close to the sun setting. The horizon itself was peaking to new colors in the sky. |

(Getting back at it again with the post. Sorry for the delay :0) Captain Hook sneered. Certainly, his patience was running on low. A group of male pirates awaited for the captain's signal and he nodded. With that the large built group of pirates crept up behind Alex only to grab her. While that was being taken care of Captain Hook pressed his eyes back to the children that were tied to the pole. "I am getting real tired of these shenanigans!" His tone indicated that he was close to losing his sanity and his cheeks were getting red with furry. "If Spencer is right then I'll be slashing someone within a few minutes. Shorts!" He called and the young man stood up straight in fear of him striking at him. "Are there more children on the beach?!"
"Yes Captain." Shorts responded quickly without a beat being missed. "Spencer is correct. There were more children, besides these two, that are on the beach."( แดแดสสแดแดแดแดษชแด, You can decide if Alex gets away from those group of men or not.) |

The fairy was absolutely dying of boredom, so much so that even conversation with a bloody, ruthless pirate wasn't out of the question. "And what kind of potion would this be?" she asked in a coy, sweet voice. "You can tell me." She clasped her hands together in an almost pleading gesture, and batted her eyelids curiously.

(yeet alright I do want Spencer to get beat up eventually, so that she loses her status among the pirates and has a reason to join the children and her brother in their escape huehue, but yeah we can fit that anywhere really)
Ellie let out a small gasp at the pirateโs words. She hadnโt expected that pigtail-wearing scary woman to show up then, but because she had, Ellie and Oakleyโs word most likely wouldnโt be enough to convince the Captain. Looking at the boy tied up beside her, he seemed to have given up. That felt...wrong. Ellie didnโt want to give up on her friends just yet. She didnโt want to let them get ratted out. She whipped her head back to face the frightening Captain, eyes hardened with a temporary determination. โY-youโve got it all wrong!โ she squeaked out, squirming against the ropes. โThat lady never saw anything, neither of them did! Because no one was there!โ Her declaration would likely only serve to put her in more danger, but she did it anyway.
Spencerโs smirk disappeared as the coppery-haired girl stalked in front of her, the challenge spoken loud and clear for all to hear. She said nothing, her hazel eyes blinking as she processed the bruteโs words. It was only when the girl had been grabbed by the other pirates that Spencer allowed herself a small exhale in relief, the simper returning to her features. She shook her head slightly to dismiss the encounter, pigtails jostling, and made her way forward until she was behind Shorts. โThis moronic child has a death wish, apparently.โ she jeered, referring now to the young blonde one who had spoken a lie once again. โDonโt worry, my fairies will return with the truth.โ (little does she know just how right she's about to be)
Despite her confident demeanor, the words that bold green-eyed girl had spoken to her a moment ago echoed in her mind.
โSo, what about it? I bet without that sword, you couldnโt even beat me.โ
She had given almost no indication of it, but the truth was, in that moment...Spencer had felt fear. It was true; the only reason she wasnโt taking that girlโs place at this very moment was because of the rapier sheathed at her hip. Without it, well...she was just a thin girl no more than a couple years older than her opponent. She was a nobody. Weak. Helpless. With no friends to watch her back.
No, she wouldnโt think about it. It was beneath her to face that girl, to let her tear the feared Spencer Hughes down. It wouldnโt happen. It wouldnโt.
Zack watched Emily Darling float upwards towards the jungle treetops, and make it look easy on the way. A flash of jealousy and competitiveness shot through him; he wanted to do that too! โHey, wait for me!โ he called up to her as he flailed his arms wildly, trying to make his body go for godโs sake! He heard two tinkling bell-like chuckles from beside him, and he shot a glare at the fairies. โA little help here, maybe? Please?โ That last added word only caused more giggling, as the two balls of light seemed to shake in place. โWhat did I just tell you?โ Pearl chided, floating backwards slightly with her hand over her mouth as if to hide her very obvious amusement. โBe patient. You canโt just force it, you have to drift. Itโs really not that hard. Look, she did it just fine!โ The blue fairy pointed upwards to where Emily had disappeared beyond the leaves. Julian began to fly after where Emily had gone, leaving a small trail of golden dust in his wake. โCome, you wouldnโt want to get left behind, would you?โ he taunted as his dragonfly-like wings beat rapidly, carrying him higher and higher. Zackโs teeth were clenched but he tried to relax, getting a feel for the strange weightless sensation. Soon, almost from just willpower, he could feel himself drifting higher off the ground. He slowly made his way to the treetops, and finally he broke through to meet Emily Darling on the other side.
Once there, he turned to gaze upon what his companion was looking at. โWoah...this is a really nice view.โ he gasped in awe, slowly rotating in place to take it all in. He had never been this high up before, except maybe one time in an airplane. But this was entirely different; they were floating here, without the safety of metal walls guarding them from the sheer height. Luckily for him, Zack had never been afraid of heights. After a moment of gaping at all the beauty, he glanced back at Emily Darling. โWell, we should get going, right? Everyoneโs waiting for us.โ Immediately Julian interrupted with a โFollow me!โ as he darted away in a horizontal direction. Pearl went after him, shouting โHey, donโt you mean follow us?โ The silvery-sheened fairy gave a low chuckle before answering โRight.โ
