@angelfur On the other side of Neverland, over the glistening waters of Mermaid Lagoon, there flew a fairy. She zipped and fluttered over the water's surface, curiously enamored by the glass-like reflections of the pool. Light as a feather, she would touch a bare foot to the water, balancing along its surface tension like a damselfly. Then she would hop to the other foot, again and again till she was flitting across the lagoon without even using her wings.
This was an entertaining pastime for Agatha, who so rarely had interesting things to do. It was even more fun whenever the mermaids would try to drown her by splashing large waves of water with their tails. But today, the cruel women were nowhere to be seen. Oh well. Perhaps someone else would come along, to maybe spark the little fairy's curiosity once more. The pirate had landed her ship by Mermaid Lagoon because honestly she needed a break from her sad excuse for a crew. Why did Hook have to get the good pirates and she was stuck with these lousy idiots. "Maybe the mermaids will be here today." She muttered then checking her pixie dust pouch. Still half full, maybe she could spare a bit of it. Deciding this would be the best course of action she grabbed half a handful and sprinkled it upon herself then jumping into the air she easily flew. Pixie dust was hard to come across lately and she was lucky enough to have a pouch.

Zack whipped around to face whatever had just tugged his hair. He certainly wasn't expecting to see a tiny winged person, no, two people, floating in midair behind him and Emily Darling. The blue-haired female who had been behind him let out a jingly giggle, almost sounding like the tinkling of bells. โGot you!โ her tiny voice rang out. The silvery-haired male seemed to zip backwards away from Emily at her outburst. He held his hands up as if in surrender. โMy apologies, darling.โ This fairyโs voice was more of a purr, much like those seductive types Zack would see in movies. I just realized the coincidence of Julian calling her darling, aslfdsd itโs funny to me so Iโm not gonna change it
Zack sputtered a little at seeing them up close. There was no way, right? But here they were, honest-to-god fairies! Undeniably real, wings and everything, talking to him and Emily Darling! โW-what are you? I mean, who are you? What are you doing here?โ The words just tumbled out of his mouth, manners stashed all the way to the back of his mind in his utter confusion.
The blue fairy hovered in place, her butterfly wings lazily pulsating in a frame around her body. She broke into more laughter for a moment before answering. โWhat are we? Isnโt it obvious?โ The one with the ponytail suddenly appeared beside her, and placed a minuscule hand on her shoulder. โNow, dear sister, you canโt answer a question with another question.โ He turned back to the others and drifted closer to them, specifically getting in front of Emilyโs face. โThatโs Pearl.โ he said, motioning with his thumb back to the female. Then he placed the hand on himself, splaying his fingers across his chest dramatically. โAnd my name is Julian. I do hope you remember it, darling.โ He winked then, eyelashes fluttering. (wtf am i doing) He drew even closer to Emilyโs face, just inches away from her nose. โAnd what about you, my dear? I am quite curious.โ
Zack couldnโt even properly respond to that; his mouth just gaped open with no words coming out. He couldnโt believe what he was seeing. Fairies talking to them, joking with them, and was that fairy flirting with Emily?! Just what the hell was going on, here?!
Ellie didnโt protest as the short man tied up her wrists. She at the very least knew better than to provoke these scary adults; who knew what would happen? They had certainly looked serious when they brandished their weapons in front of her. As they began to walk, she quietly tested the strength of the rope, trying to pull her wrists apart. But nope, they were tightly bound. The material was sturdy; it didnโt give at all. Not that she would know what to do if she managed to break free. Would she run? And leave Oakley all by himself? It probably wouldnโt even work, as she might not be able to run fast enough to successfully get away.
She wasnโt brave enough to say anything. She just kept quiet and let Oakley do all the talking, though she listened intently to the manโs response. If heโs only doing what heโs told, why canโt he just let us go? Does he really want to capture us?
Spencer watched the pirates take the children away. โHmph.โ she grunted. Hopefully theyโre competent enough to do that much at least, though I wonโt be surprised if something goes wrong. She turned her gaze away from them, towards the jungle. When she was finally alone, she returned the rapier to its sheath, its job of intimidation done. Though her thumb still caressed the hilt absentmindedly, as it tended to do when she was pensive. She didnโt know how long the fairies would take; hopefully they would return quickly with the children, or at least with reliable information she could use to retrieve them. But for now, all she could do was wait.
Her thoughts drifted to that boy she glimpsed earlier, the one she thought was her imagination. That boy was so familiar to her, and she couldnโt be certain, but he reminded her a lot of her younger brother from all those years ago, before she ever came to Neverland. Her signature scowl deepened, the crease between her eyebrows more pronounced, and she gritted her teeth. Thereโs no use in bringing up those memories. If I look back, I am lost.
And yet, the image of that little boy from her past wouldnโt leave her mind. The laughter bellowing from deep inside his chest as he climbed trees in the woods and swung from their branches. The blinding grin on his face when he hit his first home run in the little-league, and dashed all around the bases as fast as his young legs could carry him. What was his name againโฆ? Zachary. Little Zack. Oh my god, I remember. Her eyes widened and her hand shot up to cup her mouth. No, I donโt want to remember. Theyโre all gone now, Iโll never see them again. She would never be a part of the Hughes family ever again. She was a dangerous pirate who prowled the shores of Neverland now, and there was no way to ever go back. It was ridiculous to even consider.
And yet, what would she do...if that boy was the same Zack? Would he even recognize her, after all these years? How old would he be, now? Could she capture him, like sheโd done countless times with other children?
She didnโt know.
(ooo I just had to put a line from Game of Thrones in there, bonus points to whoever can find it :3 )

(Extremely sorry that these posts are terrible I'm just a little tired) Under someone else's orders? Oakley thought curiously. How many other pirates were here? "Whose orders?" he demanded, wincing when the ropes were tightened. There were so many questions bubbling in the boy's mind, feeding into his worries. But even with all that had happened so far, there was one question that stood out to him in particular, a question which had been laying in the back of his mind since he woke up here. "Where even are we?"
@angelfur A shadow caught Agatha's eye, and the little fairy looked up to see a human flying up above. It soon became clear why the mermaids were missing today. It's because the Captain is here. The ruthless Captain Bloodfeather. There was a reason why she was called that. Agatha fluttered her wings until she was rising from the lagoon, up to Amanda's level. "Hello there, Captain," she said in an amused tone, her tiny lips drawn up in a devious smirk. She stayed a good arms-length away from the human, an intentional choice.

It's such a sight to see a fairy since they have pretty much vanished. Captain Bloodfeather be my name and slaughtering goody goody pirates be my game." She said before just hovering there. "Lucky for you I have a sweet spot for fairies and mermaids. Always loved 'em since I was a itty bitty little girl. Or maybe I just wished I was one instead? Hmm..."

(Thanks guys. NOW one of my characters will probably become aggressive. Muhehehe.)
From afar was a little bit more beach until they all shifted a view of a large ship, The Jolly Old Roger, a pirate ship he used to fear when he was still a child. The ship stood in the shallows of the ocean, where it moved very little, and grey skies loomed over it's presence. Besides the sea's breeze that felt refreshing and salty was now staleness and a little bit of harsh breeze that wiped sand in people's faces or jerked them around entirely. This was Neverland after all. The weather can change in different areas without a rhythm or reason. All three of them were at least 100 feet away from the ship.
Before answering the boy's question he glanced behind his shoulder to check if Spencer caught up to them and fortunately she didn't yet. "Just a regular island." Shorts had to lie about that concept since he was under orders to not tell children where were they. "Pirates, like us, that dominate this area and I take orders from my captain. I also take orders from that female pirate you both meet on the beach." He elaborated as he continued to pull the rope.
--------------------------------------------------------- Given that Emily was extremely naive and never exposed to any dating life the comments and the gestures flew over her head that Julian was throwing at her. The interaction wasn't as enchanting especially to how emotional she was at the moment. Her and Zack witnessed their friends captured, beaten, and fear was a driving force now. When Julian tried again to come close to her face she became extremely uncomfortable and swiped her hand at him. "Do you think we're stupid?!" The frustration tone gotten her to yell a little bit at the small fairies. "We saw what you did to our friends and now you think we're going to fall for the same trick by going back to the beach where the pirates are? Stop pretending we're wazzocks and go away from us."
With that being Emily leaned in close to Zack to whisper in his ear. In all of the stories of fairies they would never work together with pirates, but now this was confusing and scary to her. "We got to go now."

Pirates, huh? Ellie thought as she was pulled along. That explained a lot: the ragged clothes, the weapons, the bright red coat, the very fact that they were so mean! And, apparently, the large ship that loomed in front of them. Ellie had never even seen a ship in person before, let alone been on one. She gulped. I wonder what will become of us.
Perhaps Julian should have been expecting the hand that came flying at him, but with his limited understanding of othersโ emotions, he did not. So he was swatted away, almost out the air, but he did manage to stay afloat. Rapidly fluttering his dragonfly wings, he darted back upwards towards the other fairy. โI must admit I deserved that.โ he allowed. A hand on his shoulder caused him to turn, and he looked at Pearl to see a meaningful look on her face. Julianโs grimace disappeared in turn, replaced by neutrality. He nodded shortly, and they both turned back to the minors.
Zack dipped his head a little to allow Emily Darling to whisper in his ear. She was right, the fairies werenโt trustworthy. He had been starstruck for a moment, just from the shock that they were real. For a moment he had forgotten all about what just happened, namely their friends getting captured. He had to focus!
But what exactly could the fairies even do to him and Emily? Nothing, as far as he knew. โTheyโre not gonna do anything.โ he whispered in return, perhaps a bit brashly. Then he turned to the fairies watching them and placed his hands on his hips in a power pose. โYeah, weโre not naive. You can try all you want, but weโre not gonna come back with you. So you can screw off.โ
He noticed how the fairiesโ demeanors had changed. Now they looked at him and Emily with steeliness, their smiles and goofy exteriors gone. โWell, I suppose thereโs no longer any reason to keep up pretenses.โ Pearl spoke with clarity. She folded her arms in front of her chest. โThis is basically our job. The pirates have us lure children into a false sense of security, so they can be captured. Among other things.โ Julian seemed to copy her motion, folding his arms as well. โYes, but while weโre being honest, I must say I donโt have much loyalty for those brutes. Wouldnโt you agree, dear sister?โ They seemed to share a look, before Pearl responded. โNow that you mention it, perhaps I do agree.โ
โAfter all, thereโs only one reason to hang out with those pirates.โ

(Aww I miss your Peter Pan avvie ) "Just a regular island?" Oakley questioned, a small grimace on his face as the biting winds pelted him with sand. "How did we get here?" Up ahead he could see a big wooden ship, like something straight out of a fairytale. Except this fairytale had apparently came to life, and Oakley had the ominous feeling that he was going to be forced onto that ship soon. He pulled away from the pirate that held him as much as he could, trying to dig his shoes in the sand to slow him down. It would ultimately be to no avail. @angelfur "'Goody goody pirates?'" Agatha repeated the phrase, an eyebrow arching up in amusement. "Are there really any pirates who could call themselves good? Well, at least they aren't as bad as you." She leaned her tiny body back and kicked up her legs as though she were sitting on air. "Nice to see we share a certain...ability." The fairy went on to comment, her pure black eyes moving to glance at the bloodstained pouch that the Captain held. "Might I ask where you got that?"

(That's honestly how I feel when you and โฝBoopโฝ change your profile pictures. I miss the Halloween ones tbh and the Peter Pan thing is probably coming back. I just wanted a mermaid profile.) Shorts pulled the rope when he felt something dragging behind him. Unfortunately, they couldn't stop and he couldn't just let them go now especially when a few pirates could see them coming from the shores. The pirates were either peaking from the upper deck or on the flag poles on the top. what was fortunate was Shorts still had time to answer the children's question. "That's the weird thing about you being here. We don't know how you got here."
---------------------------------------------------- Emily stood in one place and felt rooted to the ground when Zack walked ahead of her. When the fairies confessed what the pirates have been doing to their friends her jaw dropped and her knees weaken. Although she didn't move from her spot, she asked a bit of a forward question anyways. "Y-you mean there are more children here? Where pirates are keeping them captive?"

(I like the mermaid!! and yeah def enjoyed the halloween profile, but now mine's a vampire which can at least technically be considered spooky, right? Somewhat? also this is embarrassing but he actually kinda looks,,,a lot like Julian??? lmao,,,it's a coincidence i swear) So these pirates didn't have answers, either. There really was no good to come out of any of this, huh? They woke up on a strange beach, far away from home and from their families, and no one even knew what was going on. How was Ellie going to get back home? Was that even possible, now that she'd been captured? She hung her head in despair.
Pearl blinked a few times at Emily and cocked her head, sort of looking as if she was surprised but also as if she was debating something. She turned to the fairy floating beside her. "What do you think, Julian? Should we tell them?" A sly smirk appeared on the addressed's face. "Well, why not? We can't take them back with us, so what does it matter?" He drifted forward between the children and the fairies, subconsciously trying to be in the center of attention. "Yes, there are plenty of children here." he began, flipping his long ponytail back. "They seem to appear on these shores all the time. Those devils capture them, with our help of course, and then they are imprisoned or enslaved..." As he went on, his tone decreased in suavity until his voice finally trailed off. His tiny silvery eyebrows seemed to quirk in a slight grimace, and Pearl echoed his expression. "Yeah...that's right..." (Let me know if that isn't right and needs to be changed lol)
Zack reeled back a little at the new information these fairies had, for some reason, so willingly given them. If what Julian had just said was true, then that meant they weren't the only children to wake up on the beach. And apparently this had been going on for a while. And the worst part of all: they were being enslaved! Ellie and Oakley were in their clutches now, doomed to the same fate!
This would all be very important information to remember later whenever they had time to make a plan, but for now one question was at the forefront of his mind. "Why are you telling us all of this?"
Julian shrugged. "Because we stand to lose nothing by it. Whether you are captured or not is...not our concern."(Spencer's gonna take a break while she's waiting for the fairies lol. Just chillin, thinkin bout life)

"Yes none of them are as bad as me self but I grudgingly admit that some pirates try to be good and not all are entirely evil...almost feel bad for them. Sometimes Hook gives off that vibe as well." The woman remarked to the what she likes to consider a compliment because she is bad, the baddest of all. "Oh this little thing? It was from a friend a far long time ago. Him and a few fairies made this item possible." She explain to the little fairy. "Makes travel quicker."

Oakley found it strange that not even the pirates knew how they had gotten here. Well I'M going to find out, and when I do, we're all going to get out of here. As soon as we get away from these pirates. The boy struggled and struggled against the ropes, but no matter how hard he pulled away, Shorts would merely yank him back again. Eventually he had to give up, because the rubbing of the ropes against his skin was getting to be too painful. Oakley sighed in defeat, returning to a compliant yet reluctant walk. He turned to Ellie, his brown eyes round with sadness and guilt. "I'm sorry we're in this mess," he murmured quietly. "It's all my fault."
@angelfur "Oh?" For some reason, Agatha didn't like the fact that Amanda was holding a pouch of what the fairy knew was pixie dust. It made her uneasy, yet curious all the same. She crossed her arms and fluttered a few inches back, increasing the distance between them a bit more. "And who was this friend of yours?" And was this item given to you willingly? was what she also wanted to ask, but didn't.

Her knees weaken and she placed her hands over her chest. For a few moments she was quiet and by glance she looked disturbed. Her mind was processing, but couldn't imagine what the pirates were doing to these children. After she took a deep inhale and exhale, she returned back to Zack's side to whisper in his ear. Fear was found in her tone and she was somewhat shaking. "We got to go to the ship to save Oakley and Emily. Hopefully, we can get the other kids there too. I still don't trust the fairies though."

(Thanks guys. I hope you guys know I care about you too, though I wouldn't want neither of you guys to go through what I'm going through. If it seems like I'm taking a little bit to respond I would recommend to keep writing (if you want to) only because it gives me a reason to keep coming back and surviving overall. Onward to the ship then!) Shorts heard the boy's mumbles, but ignored it. Maybe instead of hearing another person's conversations it was best to let the winds carry out the boy's words. As the crew approached the ship, Shorts continued to pull the rope until he arrived. He stopped right on the shores and called out for the gate passage. Above them a few heads of small children peaked out from deck for a moment before disappearing. Within a few more seconds passing a walking board descended when the lower edge landed on the sand. Causing the minerals to fly in the air and Shorts used his foot to steady the board from the ship to the beach. From the deck some of the children's hands held the upper deck, so they could aboard the ship. Continuing their trip Shorts pulled the two kids with the rope and advanced their way onto the ship. ( แดแดสสแดแดแดแดษชแด, You can go 'head and write for another character that is a Lost lost Boy. Lol! I have a morbid sense of humor. Shorts and the other dude or chick can be friends.)

(In that case, we must let the words flow~
Also sorry if this is a bit incoherent, I've got a lot of tryptophan in my system so I'm writing through a sleepy, unfocused haze if you will)
Ellieโs frown deepened when she heard Oakleyโs words. She lifted her head to look at him, her blue eyes shining with regret. โItโs not all your fault.โ she muttered wetly. โItโs mine, too.โ If she hadnโt gone skipping ahead of the others just at the sight of adults, her and Oakley wouldnโt be in this mess. Ellie learned the hard way that not all adults could be trusted.
As they drew closer to the ship she could see the heads of other children on deck. Weโre not the only ones? she realized. Perhaps the same fate awaited them, whatever that was. She inhaled sharply as they began walking up the board onto the ship; the height made her nervous.
Zack looked at Emily Darling and nodded in agreement. โRight. Thereโs no way we can stand by and do nothing, now.โ he whispered back. He couldnโt just let the pirates enslave his friends; in a way he felt almost responsible for them. He and Emily needed to protect them, to rescue them. And to do thatโฆ He flicked his head just slightly in the direction of the fairies. โI donโt trust them, either. But we might be able to use them to our benefit.โ Turning back in front of him, he spoke a bit louder to the fairies. โIf it doesnโt matter to you, whatโs stopping you from helping us instead?โ
The two fairies exchanged yet another glance, then looked back at the children. Pearlโs lips split into a grin. โAbsolutely nothing.โ

Oakley's brow furrowed at Ellie's answer; he didn't want her to take any of the blame. Oakley should have known not to trust the adults. It wasn't like he hadn't been betrayed by them before. "We'll get out of here, I promise," he whispered to the girl. It was better to provide some encouragement, no matter how dire things seemed, right?
Yet he couldn't help but shudder as the walking board landed on the sand with a loud and foreboding thump. The wood creaked underneath as he placed his tentative feet on the board and followed after the pirate. Oakley hoped he wasn't walking towards his doom.
Already on the deck of the ship was a 16 year old girl, and her name was Alex. She leaned over the edge of the Jolly Old Roger, the wind blowing her short coppery hair around her face as she eyed the new captives. Her eyes were narrowed in subdued anger, but not at Oakley or Ellie. When the newcomers arrived onto the ship, she marched straight over to Shorts with shoulders squared.
"More children?" Alex huffed, more in an annoyed way than angry or scared. Shorts was the one she was most comfortable with, which didn't say much, given that she was also a captive on this ship. It basically meant that he was the one who dealt with her fiery attitude the most.
(I can get a form up for Alex on the interest page soon ^^)

After Shorts reached the end of the board, the other adult pirates aided the young man coming at the edge of the deck and getting their hands on the rope. Of course, they weren't going to see Captain Hook, just yet. Two of the dirty pirates grabbed the two children and carried them on the ship. They cheered and singed for the praises of another set of children. Before they were going to be tied up by a pole nearly violently and with the same rope Shorts used on them. "We may have got her!" One harsh whisper traveled from one pirate to another. The rumor begin to spread about the two incoming kids being 'something' and one midget pirate stared at Oakley curiously. "We might've want to report it to Cap'." Another pirate hissed as one ran off to the cabin section.
Upon the rest of the ship children were chained up children working and cleaning the ship's floors. The children were anywhere from teenagers to very young children; which didn't mean all of them worked above the deck. Busy footsteps were heard below them.
Shorts approached the girl that had a certain tone with him and seemed to produce a smirk. Not that her comment or the context was worth smiling about, but at least it felt good someone wanted to chat with him. He had to look on the bright side somehow. He held his hands up in defense and stood just a few inches over her height that would indicate he only a few years older than her. "It's not my orders Alex." Shorts was short and to the point with his response. He stood in place where his bare toes wiggles, but he wasn't going to move or walk around.
------------------------------------------------------ Emily nodded her head agreeing with Zack's statement as she crossed her arms over her chest. She could feel her bare feet touching and being muddy up by dirt below her. It'll be nice when she could get her feet in water again. "There's one question that has been lingering in my mind..." Emily started, though she stayed by Zack's side mostly in fear something else was in the jungle with them and not trusting the fairies entirely. "Where are we? Is this Neverland?"
(Sure thing! If my writing isn't the best I kinda of rushed this.)

(It's okay!!)
Ellie nodded at the strawberry-blond's words. She could trust Oakley, right? Though their situation seemed impossible now; they were all tied up and on the pirates' ship, and the sight of all these other children chained and enslaved sent her remaining hopes plummeting. Was there really any hope for escape?
Now they were on the ship, their rope being pulled around by other pirates. Ellie caught bits of their conversation, and they confused her. 'We may have got her'...? Who's 'her'? Do they mean me? she pondered. "What are you talking about?" she called out to the other pirate.
"Wha-?" Zack blinked rapidly at Emily's question. What in the world was 'Neverland'? And if this was it...how did she know? Zack just grew more and more confused the longer he was here. And what was even stranger was how much knowledge Emily seemed to possess about this place, despite being certain that she must not have been here before, just like him. He made a mental note to ask her about that later; he needed answers. But for now he turned back to the fairies, awaiting their answer.
Pearl and Julian also seemed surprised at the question; both had dumbstruck expressions on their faces. Pearl recovered first, blinking back into the present and nodding. "...Yes, you're right! This is Neverland." Then Julian cut in, beginning a question that Pearl finished. "Have you-" "-Been here before?"

Oakley looked back and forth between the pirates as they talked over the two children's heads. The bubbling ruckus caused by their speculation was loud and confusing, pulling Oakley's attention in all directions. But one phrase repeated over and over was clear: 'we may have got her!'. The boy turned to look at his fellow captive, who judging from her facial expression seemed to be thinking the same thing he was. They don't mean Ellie, do they? Oakley had a bad feeling about this. He struggled to move closer to Ellie; trying to protect her would be futile, yet it was a subconscious reach for comfort all the same. It wouldn't help, but the boy still felt the need to be in close proximity, whatever happened next.
Alex clicked her tongue in irritation. It bothered her that Shorts was smiling at all this. He may have accepted this type of life, but Alex sure didn't. And she didn't try to hide it either. "Maybe," the girl replied, her green eyes pinning him with a piercing look. "But it doesn't mean you have to follow those orders." She glanced briefly at the two children who were currently being tied up. Soon, their spirits would be broken just like everyone else here. The thought made her seethe with rage, the fire reflecting itself in her expression.

(My fiance and I left my mom's home, or we managed to escape. I'll post more about it later.)
Shorts stared back at Alex, unphrased, and shrugged his shoulders. He was more aware of his reality, where he lived in constant fears like the others on the ship, than she was. He posed a weak smirk towards her. "I suppose you wouldn't mind if my skin has contact with Hook's hand." He said to her in a lower tone and lean closer to her. It's been known on the ship that Hook would kill a mate just by his temper.
----------------------------- The next thing the children knew was the older pirates cheered after one man returned from a cabin run. "He coming!" (Is it alright with everyone that Captain Hook is coming?) ---------------------------------------------
A gasp escaped from her lips and her eyes lite up as she rejoiced. "I knew it!" Emily cheered as she jumped up and down with excitement. Her extremely curly hair bouncing up and down with her. Her gut feeling told her otherwise since she woken up here. However, it was extremely odd Peter Pan wasn't here. Her mind couldn't help, but to ponder.
Finally, she managed to calm down with her smile being wide. That way she could answer the questions they were throwing at here, even though she wasn't willing to be completely honest with the fairies. Yes, she noticed Zack was throwing her a puzzling stare and she wanted to explain, but for now that didn't seem possible. At least in front of the fairies. "No, I just heard of stories about it from a book series back at home." Which she was mentioning more of her mother's Neverland tales that were published a while ago. "Anyways." Emily said, so she could move onto the next part of the questions. "Where's Peter Pan?" She was directing this inquiry towards the fairies.
