(If I need to do a correction on my post then please go 'head and tell me. Cuz here it goes!)
Spit landed on the sand as dirty bare feet glazed the pure white sand. It was man, or he was actually a young man in his early 20's, though now under the newest influence of pirates dominating the island. It was something he spent years upon years defending, along side his dearest champion Peter Pan, but now, drown against his will and like a dead grip, he fought along side them. As if he was cursed and doomed to serve what he despised the most in his heart were pirates. It was quite unfortunate and each morning of a new day was a search party of capturing children that have recently surfaced children upon their beaches.
Shorts, a nickname that was given to him. Admittedly, he doesn't recall what his original name is when he first came to the island. Since he was one of the Lost Boys that have grown up, he actually still had those childish features. Such as the icy blue eyes, a wild and messy dirty blond hair. His skin was dirty and had scars that looked like fresh wounds. Shorts worn ragged clothes that wasn't his and sometimes was too sizes too big. Even based on his appearance, he was one of the quickest pirates in the crew and normally was sent to capture children that have recently come to the surface of the beaches. This has been happening for a while and it's unexplained why this was occurring. Hell, the magic behind this place wasn't making any sense anymore. As weapons and placed upon his belt equipment, he had a hunting knife, a flare gun, and a neatly tied rope to capture children if there was more than one to take back on the ship. Since other stuff like these come to the island, water sourced, it meant the pirates took advantage of it.
Him and his small crew of pirates came with him almost every morning. Since he was the first to approach the beach, he scanned the area only to see nothing. He reports back to his crew while he advances forward. "No one seems to be here mates."

The children had reached the edge of the jungle, and Oakley had noticeably slowed in his happy skipping as the shadows cast from the jungle's canopy raced up to meet them. Eventually the boy came to a nervous stop, and since he was holding onto the hands of the girls, they would soon come to a stop as well.
It was dark in there. The morning sun had not yet had the opportunity to shine its light into this thick expanse of trees, so the jungle appeared gloomy and eerie. Oakley gulped, his hesitance apparent in that he didn't want to walk into the scary darkness. But he couldn't act scared. Not in front of the others.
He glanced behind him. Just one glance in the direction that they had come from--and suddenly his anxious brown eyes were widening in surprise, and perhaps relief. "Guys, there's other people here! Adults!" he turned around and pointed past the other children in the direction of the beach, where several adults were walking. They prowled over the sand, almost as if they were searching for something. But Oakley was too excited to notice.

Ellie turned her head at Oakley's exclamation, looking towards the beach. He was right! There were adults here! Maybe they would know what to do. "Yay! We're saved!" she giggled cheerily as she let go of Oakley's hand. She then began to skip away from the group in the direction of the beach, a naive grin on her face.
Zack turned his head as well, but wasn't met with the same relief as Ellie and Oakley. They didn't seem very friendly; for all they knew, those mysterious adults could have ill intentions. "Wait, Ellie..." he warned, reaching a hand out, but the younger girl didn't seem to hear.
At that moment, he froze. He could see ragged clothes, what appeared to be weapons, and the weirdest thing of all: one of those faces looked familiar. Really familiar. Spencer?! he thought, scrutinizing her face. The woman was still far away, and appeared quite a bit older than the Spencer he knew, though of course she would be. But...Spencer had been missing for years. His family had given up all hope of ever seeing her again. It probably wasn't her, just someone who looked similar. Or maybe he was seeing things. It just didn't make logical sense for that woman across the sand to be his long-lost sister.
But those people looked dangerous. "Ellie, come back. It's not safe!" he tried to call out to her, but she just kept skipping. And Zack's legs wouldn't move.
Spencer stalked forward until she was at the other pirate, Shorts', side. Her right hand absentmindedly thumbed over the handle of the rapier attached to her belt. "I see. Damn shame." she mused, sharp gaze scanning the beach alongside her companions. "Better luck tomorrow, I guess."
"Better luck tomorrow, I guess!" A small, tinkling voice echoed, followed by an obnoxious giggling. Without even looking for the source of the voice, the pirate immediately huffed and swung her hand beside her head, swatting away the little blue fairy- "Uff." Another small voice laughed heartily at her other side, and Spencer groaned. "Ugh, can you two stop bothering me for like, five minutes?"
The other fairy, an iridescent one, zoomed to the front of her face and gave her a smolder. "But it's so much fun...and besides, you can't lie. You like having us around. Especially me." That last comment earned him a smack as well. Ugh.
It was then that her eyes caught movement towards the jungle. It appeared that a small blonde girl was making her way towards them, and with them...huh? Could that be... Memories of her little brother flashed through her mind. But no. There was no way it'd be him. The odds were just to small. And besides...he didn't matter anymore. Not him, not her family, not any part of her past. All of it should just be locked away in a big metal safe and tossed into the ocean, to sink beneath the waves and never resurface again. She quickly elbowed Shorts to get his attention, and pointed to the young girl. "Look there." she said. "Perhaps there are one or two."
(WOW this was long...sorry if it's overwhelming lol)

Shorts felt the nudge and gazed over at the source where his leader was pointing. Perhaps she wasn't Captain Hook, but she certainly held the same importance overall. She was crafty in her skills and she was clever than most pirates on their ship. That's for sure. A wicked grin shaped his lips as he spotted the girl approaching them. "Good eye milady." Shorts throw a compliment towards Spencer's way and turned to face the others. Getting close where they can hear him whisper. "She an easy one. If we pretend we're her friends and helping her she'll tell us if she has friends with her or not." He said, though he already knew, at least if Spencer pointed out there was movement in the jungle, there was more than one child washed up on shore and it was guaranteed they were going to take someone. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Since Oakley was trailing the girls along, it caused her to mostly follow him until he decided to go back to the beach. Emily didn't directly lift her head out to see what was on the beach, but there was a few peaks here and there with evergreen leaves to see some features. Such as there was other people, they had weapons, and they knew exactly this location. It was in their mannerism as she can analyze the situation at hand. Plus she had a bad feeling about it. If the facts weren't good enough then her mother always told her to go with that gut feeling. "Oakley please!" She begged him quietly while loosening her hand away from him and trying to catch his.
Immediately, when she watched Ellie leave, the feeling became worst. What would the people do to her? "It's too dangerous." She continued to whisper. She noticed a far off glow that hovered over the two folks and it moved around. That was strange though. What are those? The features were too far to see in detail.

Oakley was ready to follow after Ellie, but paused when Emily spoke her concerns. He turned to look at her, an apologetic smile on his face. "You really think it'll be dangerous?" he said softly. "Ellie seems fine." He glanced back at the pirates, watching as Ellie ran up to the strangers. "Maybe those people were looking for us. They'll probably take us back home." He smiled at Emily one more time, giving her a little pat on the shoulder. "If you don't want to talk to them, then you can stay here. I'll go get them." Then he turned his head to face Zack. "I'll be right back, okay?" Then he jogged after Ellie, leaving Emily and Zack behind under the shadow of the trees.

Zack watched in worry as Oakley jogged away to join Ellie. He had a really bad feeling about this; those adults could hurt them. It looked like one of them was carrying a sword! Perhaps I should go out and stop them, the braver part of his mind supplied. But then he saw that the strange people were already walking towards them, and thought it best to stay out of sight for now.
"Emily Darling." he whispered, not noticing that he was still using her full name. "This way." He backed further into the jungle, trying to keep an eye on the other children. He hoped nothing bad would happen to them. It something did...he felt it would be his fault.
In a moment, the strangely familiar teen Spencer saw was gone. Weird. It must have been her imagination. From where she was standing, she could only see one other child emerging from the trees, and it certainly wasn't her younger brother. I thought I would have forgotten him by now. There's no reason why I should see him in another's face.
Shorts's plan was a good one. Children were so unbelievably trusting, still at the age where they had the delusion that all adults were kind, good people. This would be simple. "Look alive, boys." she told the pirates. "And wipe that ugly grin off your face. You'll scare her away." She then placed a hand on her hip, and raised the other one to snap her fingers. "Pearl. Julian." The two mentioned fairies stood at attention, floating in midair with their silver gazes trained on her. "Yes..." "...Ma'am?" they said, finishing each other's sentence. Spencer flicked her hand towards the children. "Go sell it. You know I hate pretending." She didn't even need to explain. Any child would trust a fairy. Spencer, on the other hand, could sabotage the entire plan with her ill demeanor.
Each fairy placed a tiny hand on their head in salute. "You got it, chief!" Pearl announced playfully, while Julian smirked and replied "Only if you watch me closely." The two fairies floated away, pushing each other on their way to the children.

Shorts soften his grin and ended up chuckling at Spence's responses. If a morbid humor fits then it was comedy gold here. At least a little. He ended up holding still and letting the fairies do their work. He'll be the person to grab them soon enough. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emily watched in horror as the gut feeling inside her stomach felt like it was twisting. The feeling was worst and she had to cover her mouth with her hands as she watches helplessly. She slowly turned when she heard Zack's voice and her heart dropped for a moment. "I'm really scared for them." She whispered her confession to him. "Are we going to stay hidden while keeping an eye on them?"

(Sorry this post is kind of garbage, but I just got back and I'm a bit tired ^.^; )
Oakley managed to catch up to Ellie as he jogged down to the beach in the direction of the adults, looking the strangers up and down as he went. It soon came to his attention that they did, in fact, have weapons, and very odd ones at that. And with their characteristic swagger, their stance, and choice of clothing, Oakley couldn't help but get a certain storybook vibe from them. Who were they? And would they really help them? He didn't really have a choice but to try and talk to them, if the children were going to find out what was going on, and where they were.
Oakley stopped when he saw two strange glowing things fly into his view. He stared, cocking his head to the side with a confused expression on his face. "What are those things?" he wondered out loud. They looked like fairies he had seen in movies, and read about in fantasy novels, but there was no way they could be real, right?

(Ahh yes it's one of my favorites movies like, ever)
Zack glanced at the girl beside him; she seemed really scared. Zack was too, but he tried not to let it show. There were a lot of thoughts swirling around in his mind at the moment, one being that familiar-looking pirate. For now he was mostly concerned about Ellie and Oakley, and what to do if something happened. But the optimistic side of him tried to supply that everything would be fine, that they were just strange-looking locals and they would probably give directions to the nearest town or something. "I guess we've got to now." he answered. "I won't take my eyes off of them." He looked back towards the beach, and saw...lights? Two of them, glowing in the distance over their friends' heads. He didn't even know how to process that. "Everything will probably be alright...I think..."
As Ellie drew closer she noticed that these weren't normal adults she was used to being around. They were dressed really weird- some were in rags, one of them had a large red coat. She didn't even notice the weapons strapped to their belts. To her, they almost seemed like...actors! They must be doing a play! A pirate play! Nevermind that they were on a beach with no audience, that didn't register to Ellie.
She heard Oakley approach behind her, and what he said brought her attention to the two glowing figures above them. "Woah!" she exclaimed, unsure if what she was seeing was real. "Are those...fairies?!"
"Oh, look Julian, they're so cute!" The blue one cooed as she floated closer, her hands balled into fists against her cheeks. She zoomed right in front of Ellie's face. Her short hair was a light blue color, which Ellie had never seen in person before. She was wearing a little blue dress and her wings looked like a large butterfly. Ellie blushed at the compliment, unsure of what to say.
The shiny iridescent one, Julian, took the liberty of landing on Oakley's shoulder. "You're right." he purred, folding his arms and scrutinizing the freckled boy's face closely. His shiny hair was pulled into a long ponytail, and his dragonfly wings beat continuously, reflecting light."I'm Julian." he greeted with a charming grin, "And the annoying one is Pearl. You are?"
Spencer watched the fairies do their magic, metaphorically speaking. She still wasn't entirely sure why they hung out with her so much. It was like they were attached or something, determined to bother her at every possible moment. But they had their uses at least.
She leaned in close to Shorts and muttered in his ear, "Be ready. Don't mess this up, or it's the plank for you." It was an empty threat, really. Not that she would ever admit it.

(Garbage? Hell, no. Neither one of of you produces any bad work when it comes to writing because all I've seen is one of the best in the RP flow. I've been writing for RP's for seven years and so far both of your crafts are one of the best I've seen.)
Although she was trying her best not to show fear, she wasn't doing too well, her hands shook with the thought of the other two getting hurt. With a deep breath, through her nose, so no one would hear her. It cleared her mind perhaps only for a little bit. She stared back at Zack with her lip tightly closed and nod her head. "I trust you, Zack." Emily said as if it was a promise to him, even though it wasn't the right wording for it. She still kept the message to him in a whisper.
She hoped that 'maybe' they were wrong. Perhaps the adults that looked like pirates were really there to help them. Right when the doubts were mentally hovering over her she glanced over her shoulder and peaked between the giant green leaves where she could keep an eye on everyone including...the fairies. This made her eyes widen.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Aye." Shorts replied to Spencer's threat in a casual sense. He didn't take the threat too seriously and decided to input his opinion gently. "I think your winged friends might be able to lure the kids here. If they run, then I go chase them. We don't want to scare our other targets away if there are other kids on this island besides these two."
Yes, he could definitely agree with the plot Spencer has summoned, though he did insert a small suggestion to wait and see what might happen. Looking friendly was key, for now.

Oh my gosh dreamgurl42, thank you ^.^ But you're really good at rping too! And thank you Boop, I always appreciate your aggressive support XD )) Oakley's mouth gaped, wide-eyed as the two shimmering fairies approached them. There was no way these things could be real, right? He watched as the silver fairy landed on his shoulder. He said his name was Julian, but Oakley wasn't listening. He was too busy wondering how on earth this was possible. Ignoring Julian's question, he reached an arm around and snatched the fairy right off his shoulder, clutching the tiny person in his hand. "Wow," he breathed, gazing wondrously as the fairy's iridescence glinted in the sunlight. "I must really be dreaming right now. I never thought these were real!"

(Thank you :,,) I reuse a lot of my characters for different plots so I've had a lot of time to form their personalities and understand them. And I have a habit of throwing too many into a plot, so it can get a little convoluted lol. But I design them to work off each other and create a dynamic, so it's entertaining to write and read and AAAA I'm rambling...anyway thank you so much I appreciate your words and hey you're a lot of fun to rp with!! I like your character Emily, and the personalization you've given to Shorts!!) Zack wasn't sure he was worthy of the words Emily Darling said to him (lol I'm just gonna make it a running joke that Zack always refers to her that way), but he nodded anyway and kept watch on the beach. One thing he wasn't certain about was...what would be the plan? What would he do if something happened? What...was he even expecting to happen? And what could he do?
Spencer gave a slight nod at Shorts's suggestion. "Sure." she agreed shortly. She waved a hand to get one of her fairies' attention. Pearl caught the gesture and turned to glance back at the pirate, and Spencer tugged at her ear, a sign to hurry the hell up. She didn't want to be here all day playing nice with some dumb kids. It was time to move things along.
Julian huffed as the boy picked him up. He hated when people did this, it was suffocating and he preferred to float freely, thank you very much. His wings beat faster as his irritation spiked, causing more sunlight to glint off of him. "Yes child, I am very much real, now would you kindly let me go?" he tried to assert calmly, his tiny hand beating against the young boy's finger.
Pearl nodded at Spencer and turned back to Ellie, smiling sweetly. "Yeah, so I'm Pearl, what's your name?" she asked, fluttering around the young girl's face. Ellie's eyes widened in amazement. There's no way this could be real! "I'm Ellie!" she called out excitedly. The blue fairy extended a small hand in greeting. "It's nice to meet you, Ellie. Say, you're lost aren't you? Do you wanna meet my friends over there?" she pointed a thumb over her shoulder, at the pirates standing by. "Yeah, sure!" Ellie giggled, and extended a finger to Pearl's outstretched hand.
"Hey Oakley, let's go meet their friends!"

Oakley stared at Julian in his hand for a moment, as if he were in a daze. His mind was still reeling at the fact that he was seeing literal fairies right now. But he didn't really have time to process that, now did he? Because Ellie was telling him to come along, and the fairy he was holding was demanding that he let go. The boy complied, opening his hand and releasing Julian from his grip. "Sorry," he murmured an apology before following after Ellie and the blue fairy.
He looked at the adults that appeared before him. One was a mean-looking woman, wearing a strange red coat and a scowl that seemed to be permanently set into her face. Another one of the adults appeared to be wearing oversized shorts, and he looked dirty and rugged, but he at least seemed to have a friendlier look to him. Oakley's attention naturally gravitated toward the person who was actually smiling.
"Hello," he greeted, forcing a brief smile on his face. Something seemed off about these people, and coupled with the fact that they were in a strange place under strange circumstances, Oakley's usually optimistic attitude was beginning to turn into worry. "We ended up on this beach and don't really know where he are. Could you help us?"

( โฝBoopโฝ, No, you ain't rambling. I love when people talk about their characters. Lol! At least you write with your characters and know how they interact and that's the best quality a writer can have on their characters. And you're welcome I try my best, though both of the characters I have for this RP are new. So I don't have the same advantage as you and แดแดสสแดแดแดแดษชแด. And yes. Go 'head call my character by her whole name. I could imagine if she did like including her middle name then it would be a longer introduction wouldn't it?) "Good morning you two." Shorts greeting the two kids like he recalled his mother used to press him to do. Being a child in the 1950's in America he was the product of certain respects and being polite during introduction. Although he been away from home for many years and doesn't even recall his mother's voice, the lessons she taught at home never leave his memory. He stood up straight and kept his hands on his sides. His icy blue eyes landing on both of the kids and a small genuine smile was presented. Not that their actions were good, but sometimes he didn't mind carrying out a conversation once and a while. "My name is Shorts. Not really, but that's the nickname my friends give me. And yes. Of course, we'll help you! But before we can help both of you is there another group of kids that were with you? It'd be best to help all of you together."
------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was like her heart was pounding her chest like a drum and she needed to keep her mouth covered in fear she would make a noise where her and Zack would be discovered. Though the sight of fairies perplexed her. Certainly, she was scared, her friends were in danger, and yet her mind was still working. Her mind never stopped analyzing and comparing certain things and this was one of those times she couldn't help, but to connect the dots that they were possibly in Neverland. What other places would there be pirates, fairies, and a beach like this? Still she knew she needed more evidence before making such a claim. Emily glanced back and forth to Zack and the beach. Before reporting back to him she lowered her cupped hands off her lips and carelessly carried her hands on his arm. She didn't realize she was touching him when she whispered to him. "You're probably going to think I'm crazy, but it looks like Oakley and Ellie were just talking to fairies. Besides fire flies what glows and has wings especially during daylight and has specific colors?"

(huehuehue)
Ellie finally got a good look at the pirates in front of them. There was a much kinder looking one talking to them, while the woman was silently hanging back, arms folded across her chest. Ellie felt Pearl's grip on her finger disappear as the two fairies floated above them, looking down on everyone with unreadable expressions on their tiny faces. Ellie didn't really understand the change in demeanor, nor did she acknowledge it. "Yeah, we do have a couple of friends. We all woke up on the beach together."
Zack was watching the beach carefully, when suddenly he felt Emily Darling's hands on his arm. "Fairies?" he questioned, an eyebrow raised skeptically. That's certainly what the floating lights looked like. "But that can't be right, fairies aren't real." As far as he knew, fairies weren't real, but that didn't explain what he and Emily were seeing right now. "Huh. Maybe this is a dream, after all."

Oakley eyed the two adults, his gaze drawn towards the equipment they were carrying. The man seemed to have a knife, some kind of gun, and a rope attached to him. The woman was holding a strange sword. Like fear creeping up his spine, Zack and Emily's warnings were brought back to mind, and it was like something snapped inside him.
All of a sudden, Oakley didn't want to be around these strange people anymore. He didn't feel safe.
"Um, what she meant to say was..." Oakley stammered a bit, after Ellie was done talking. "It's me. I'm the friend that washed up on the beach with her." He looked at Ellie with a worried expression, hoping that the strangers would believe his lie, and that Ellie was smart enough to catch on. "We should probably go." The boy grabbed Ellie's arm and gently tugged. He wanted to leave.
