Darrius Key didn't remember how he died. He didn't remember who he was when he died. He didn't know why he was stuck on the plane between humanity and death. He didn't understand why he was a ghost and he really really didn't understand why he was now somehow connected to this person who had apparently nearly died. He hung around hospitals a lot, mainly because that's where he woke up after he had died and he really hadn't had much interest leaving. Sometimes he would follow ambulances to see all kinds of gruesome things - which for a reason lost to him - he enjoyed. But ever since he followed this ambulance back, with this person on this day - he hadn't been able to leave the room since. Like some kind of tether connected them. And that wasn't even the worst part - every time he did try to leave, his back would burn and his head would feel like it was going to explode. He learnt very quickly that he wasn't able to leave this person.
