Flashstrike let out a soft purr. "Aren't you excited to be a mother though?" He asked, looking at the Queen before he took another bite of the rabbit. "I can't wait to be a father someday, and I don't even have a mate yet." He admitted, he had always been a hopeless romantic.
Scruffystar froze at his suggestion. "No." She said quietly. "We're not bad off enough to start accepting kittypets and loners like Thunderclan does." She decided, dipping her head to the medicine cat. "I will leave you to work.. Let me know if Starclan does say anything." With that, the small she-cat turned away, slipping out of the den.
Icespark bounced up and down as she nodded. "I'm ready! I'm going to be the best Warrior ever!" She said eagerly, letting out a purr as she looked up at her mentor.
Dewpaw settled in, wrapping his long tail around his paws before staring down at the waters. He tried to let his thoughts go, but his mother's words about always paying attention, you don't know who could abandon you when, or who could backstab you, ran through his mind.

WindClan Doeshine tilted her head slowly from one side to the side, something she did when she was contemplating. "I am ready, knowing that I'm soon to be a mother delights me. It's just that I'm not used to being cooped up in a small area, unable to do anything. A price to pay I suppose." Her last words had double meaning in her mind, and she held back a laugh. She'd been a romantic too, a foolish one at that. The queen had always been thankful that no one ever pried about her situation. She'd been close with enough cats in the clan that there was speculation, but no tom ever came forward to claim the kits and none asked each other about it either. Doeshine hoped all her kits looked enough like her that no one would ever suspect they were mixed blood.
ShadowClan Spiderstep dipped his head in return. "Of course," he replied as Scruffystar walked off. His green eyes looked at the sky, suddenly weary. Why hadn't they offered any guidance about the size of the clans? Never had he known all four to be so small, surely something must be up.
ThunderClan Cherryblaze laughed and headed out of camp. She turned her head back to Graywhisker, "Do you want to join?" On the way to the training site, she decided to quiz Icepaw. "If an enemy comes at you from above, what will you do?"
RiverClan Fogtail took a moment to see how the apprentices were doing. Spottedpaw was fidgeting, though that was nothing new, and Dewpaw... "Something wrong Dewpaw?" the warrior asked.
((Sorry, I tried to wait for Adria so we didn't leave her behind but it's been a good few days. Also I think Doeshine's mate was a passing loner who -of course- swept her off her paws and then left her brokenhearted.))

(No! You're cool, I get why. I feel like they've both left us. I'll wait another week before removing their cats.)
Flashstrike let out a soft purr at Doeshine. "I know I'm not your mate, and I'm too young to even think about being that.. But I would like to play with your kits once they're old enough.. Maybe I'll even be allowed to mentor one of them when they're six moons!" He said cheerfully. "If you think Rainpelt will let you leave camp, I'd be happy to accompany you if you need to stretch your legs," he offered after.
Scruffystar slipped out of camp and into the forest, she needed to escape her worries and the clan for a few moments.. And hunting was the only way she knew to do that.
Graywhisker nodded. "I'd like to see what my daughter has been learning." He said, following after the she-cats.
Icepaw looked up at Cherryblaze. "Roll onto my back and dig my claws into him?" She asked, flicking her tail nervously. Her father following behind made her more nervous than ever.
Dewpaw looked up suddenly to look at Fogtail. "I'm fine, Fogtail.." He said softly. "It's just hard to get some thoughts out of my mind."

Hollypaw ;; { @ anyone - thunderclan camp }
Only just emerging from the apprentices' den, Hollypaw's green eyes were still blurry with sleep. She didn't realize how late she'd slept into the morning; apparently nobody had bothered to wake her up. The short-legged apprentice gave a stretch and a huge yawn, showing off her thorn-sharp canines. The marbled tabby looked around for her denmate, wondering where the lively she-cat had gone off to. It was always a mystery what Icepaw was doing, but Hollypaw didn't mind. The apprentice enjoyed doing things on her own, anyways. With a flick of her tail, the small feline trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, stomach growling at the sight of the heap of prey. Grazing it over quickly, Hollypaw selected a plump-looking vole before heading towards the edge of the camp to eat alone.Emberstep ;; { @ anyone - thunderclan camp }The morning was nice and cool that day, allowing Emberstep to go on an early walk to start the day. He had stayed within the territory, not wanted to cause trouble along the borders. Clan tensions haven't been that bad lately, but it only took one mishap to start a quarrel. Having returned not too long ago, the dark ginger Maine Coon was just finishing his morning meal, polishing off the bones of a squirrel. The long dawn walk had worked up an appetite for the large tom. His surprisingly blue gaze traveled languidly around the camp, observing what everyone else was up to. Plumbird ;; { @ anyone - windclan camp }Plumbird was just returning from a solo hunt that morning, bringing home a large hare for the clan to share. The dark grey Nebelung had already eaten to stock up on energy before her expedition. She was pleased with her kill and admired it a little as she set it down in the fresh-kill pile. She noticed a few leftover sparrows from the day before that were looking s little sad, so she decided she would go discard it. She lifted the stale prey in her jaws and headed back out, wondering where she would dispose of the birds.Lavendersong ;; { @ anyone - riverclan territory }Since the herb store was running low on a number of things, Lavendersong decided to take the time to gather that morning. Nobody had sent out hunting patrols to disturb her yet, so it was the perfect opportunity to get the most of it done. So far, she had collected some coltsfoot, feverfew, and nettle. All she needed now were juniper berries, marigold, and some oak leaves from the ThunderClan border. She wasn't worried about going towards the clans' borders - she was a medicine cat, afterall. If anything, the other clans would respect the RiverClan healer.Drizzlepelt ;; { @ anyone - shadowclan camp }The Russian Blue was still curled in his nest, exhausted from the night before. He had been out on the dusk patrol, which had lasted for much longer than needed. He and his patrol-mates had been goofing around, at the cost of going to sleep later than normal. Usually it wouldn't bother Drizzlepelt so much, but he hadn't been sleeping well the past few nights. He kept having strange dreams he couldn't explain, with all sorts of wild scenarios that always ended the same. In the dreams, he kept meeting a mysterious feline, whom he knew nothing of. But somehow, he felt connected towards them. The visions were so realistic, the tom would often wake up confused and thinking it was all real.

"Nice catch." Greytalon called out walking over to Plumbird. "Did he give you any trouble?" He asked using his paw to point at the rabbit.

Plumbird ;; { Hawkeyes258 - windclan camp }
Plumbird had nearly left the camp when she heard someone calling to her. Her ears pricked and she turned, seeing Greytalon padding over to her. The she-cat dropped the sparrows back onto the ground, not wanting to talk with two birds in her mouth. Her gaze followed his to her catch and she felt a glimmer of pride. "Thank you," she mewed with a grateful dip of her head. "And not really. Not anymore than a normal hare would." The Clan's form of prey was a rather aggressive one and rabbits and hares usually fought back when being attacked. She had managed to surprise the creature and avoiding most of the struggle between her and her catch.

WindClan Doeshine smiled warmly at the younger tom, "I'm sure my kits would love to play with you when they're old enough." The sudden thought of getting exercise excited her, and the cat stood. "Please, that sounds wonderful. I'll go find Rainpelt," she said, feeling more like an apprentice taking their first trip out of camp. Not remembering the last time she saw Rainpelt, she poked her head into the medicine cat's den to see if he was there.
Whisperstar came back to came with her one rabbit in tow, dirt and grass still covering her mottled pelt. She placed the rabbit on the pile, nodding to Greytalon and Plumbird before slinking off to sit in front of her den.
ShadowClan Spiderstep sorted through his herbs, counting his stock over and over. He was nearly out of burdock root and deciding on if he needed to get more. The brown tabby stuck his head out of his den to see who was around. When he caught the blue fur of Drizzlepelt he called out to the warrior and started walking in his direction.
ThunderClan Cherryblaze cocked her head to the side when Graywhisker spoke, but said nothing. She supposed Icepaw would feel like a daughter to him, with all the time he spent with her after bringing her out from who knows where. The connection was probably stronger than what she felt to the young apprentice even. "Good answer," she praised. "Now what if a cat were to..." As she trailed off, the ginger-and-white cat bumped into Icepaw in an attempt to unbalance the smaller cat.
Feeling a slight chill, Oakclaw padded out to the main area of camp. He found the best patch of sunlight and stretched his old muscles before sitting to groom himself.
RiverClan In a sagely manner, Fogtail nodded his head. "Some thoughts are too loud, especially when they're the voices of others," he said quietly. He knew Fishfur could be a little intense when it came to her kit, and even if she meant well it could be hard on him. He'd been trying his best to unburden the young cat while he mentored him, but he knew it might take a while.
Spottedpaw let out a bored groan. "I'm gonna see if Fishfur is up, maybe she'll take me patrolling today. Good luck Dewpaw," he called, already leaving the two in hopes of finding his mentor.
((Should we do anything with ShadowClan? Nettlepaw is gonna need a new mentor, and I just realized the title of this is that it's a romance based roleplay, but all we have are two couples that are split lol.))

As Doeshine headed into the Medicine Cat's Den, Flashstrike waited by the camp entrance, stretching out his long orange legs as he waited. Rainpelt's den was empty, the mediecine cat having left at dawn to go gather herbs on the moor. Graywhisker watched the two she-cats quietly, his tail flicking happily as his daughter answered quickly. As Cherryblaze bumped into Icepaw, she tumbled to the side for a moment before she swiped at the she-cats paws in a feeble attempt to defend herself from the larger she-cat. Dewpaw noddded slightly at Fogtail's words. "I know my mother means well." He said, standing up. "But I'm getting older. I don't need her treating me like a sick kit." His tail lashed angrily. As if on cue, the sleek black she-cat slipped into camp with a trout in her jaws. She flicked her tail in greeting to Fogtail and Dewpaw before she dropped her prey and turned towards her apprentice. (We should! I don't know what yet. I might make a couple more cats to help fill in the clans if needed. Haha. We can make some new couples though. ) (Also. Sorry, I was like super sick and then stressed out over life.)

((Oof, sick and stressed are two of the worst. Glad you're feeling better. Also it's fine to me, I actually haven't been on bc I've been so tired from work. Still getting used to working mostly early mornings into the afternoon. I think at least for now Cherryblaze will have a crush on Plumbird? I didn't think about putting my cats closer to the age of cats in their clans, whoops. Spottedpaw could have one of those "they're so cool" crushes on Pebblecloud. I'll also probably make more cats later, that way we can also fill these clans out more too. Poor things.))
WindClan Doeshine looked around the empty den and let out a small huff. She turned and went back to Flashstrike. "He wasn't there, must be out getting more herbs," she told him. Her cream colored tail flicked. "Well, I'm not a kit who needs permission I suppose. Let's go, we'll just stay close to camp," she decided. And with that, the plump queen wobbled her way out of camp.
ThunderClan Seeing her apprentice's leg stretch out, Cherryblaze hopped up slightly. "That was great!" she exclaimed, laughing. The orange and white cat gave Icepaw a toothy grin. She was a pretty sturdy cat, her large stature being some proof of that. "Next time, be bolder. Don't be afraid of hurting me while you're practicing."
Finally they were in the training area. Cherryblaze walked across the clearing and turned to face Icepaw. "Alright, today I want you to practice two on one. Sometimes you won't have a clanmate near enough in battle to help you, but your opponent might and you need to be prepared for that." She gestured to Graywhisker with her tail. "I'll need you to ambush her while she's fighting me, is that ok?"
RiverClan Knowing there wasn't much to say that would help, Fogtail nodded. When Fishfur greeted them he flicked his tail in return before standing. "Come on, we'll go explore the territory today. See what we can find," he told Dewpaw.
Spottedpaw dipped his head to his mentor. He bounced from paw to paw. "So what're we going to do today Fishfur?" he asked as excitedly as he could while holding back a yawn.

(It is! Oof. Mornings are decent shifts to work but getting up sucks.)
(I'll make some more cats later too. Honestly, Pebblecloud and Spottedpaw aren't too far off in age that once he was a Warrior they could become mates. Graywhisker will totally try to get with someone else at some point. Probably from another clan. I keep hoping more people will join too.)
Flashstrike || Windclan The orange warrior nodded, following her out of camp, keeping an eye on her as they began their walk. He padded at the side of the Queen, shortening his stride to match hers. "If something happens, I'll protect you." He said with a purr and a soft nudge.
Icepaw | Thunderclan Icepaw purred happily as Cherryblaze seemed happy with her and she flicked her tail happily, glancing over her shoulder at her father who nodded his head approvingly. She nodded at her mentor. "Okay!" She said eagerly, her eyes glancing between the two larger and sturdier looking cats. It was obvious her mother had been small and slender.
Graywhisker | Thunderclan Graywhisker nodded to Cherryblaze. "Of course," he said, moving a few steps away, prepared to ambush his daughter when she was fighting Cherryblaze.
Dewpaw | Riverclan
The apprentice shook out his pelt, padding at Fogtail's side quietly out of camp. "Why does she treat me like I'm still a kit?"

((Yea that'd be a good idea for when they're older. Oh Graywhisker, going off to break more hearts lol. You'd think more people would, we aren't too far along for newcomers. And I think we're great :c ))
WindClan Doeshine purred in return, "You're going to make some cat happy one day Flashstrike." He was indeed such a nice tom, it was a shame no one had spoken up about having interest in him, or the other way around. Still, he was young and had time to find a mate. Even though their camp was just as open, moving farther around felt freeing. The queen wasn't sure how much activity she should have this close to the end, but the desire to feel the wind in her fur grew too strong. The she-cat suddenly took off in a quick sprint and relished in the breeze before her muscles started to protest. Even then she couldn't stop a small laugh from bubbling out.
ThunderClan "Great, now let's begin," Cherryblaze said as she crouched down. Without waiting to see if Icepaw was prepared, she darted toward the smaller cat. To start the first part of her test, Cherryblaze shifted her weight and swung to the left. Though her movements were fluid, she hadn't been careful enough to see the small debris that got under her paws.
RiverClan Fogtail suppressed a grimace. "I can't say exactly, having never had kits myself, but I remember that Fishfur was supposed to have two kits. She'd gone out to stretch her legs close to when she was due, and when she came back it was only with one kit. I'm sure it's the loss of your sibling that keeps her worried about you," he explained. Then he gulped, not really sure if it had been his place to tell the apprentice this or if he had already known. In order to their minds off the subject, the warrior took in a deep breath. "Can you tell me what prey is nearby?"
