(Okay, awesome!)
Haresky had been watching Cedarwisp and Stormchaser from the other side of camp, smiling fondly. He loved his sister and approved highly of her choice of mate, but he sometimes couldn't help but be slightly jealous, seeing as he hadn't managed to find a mate, himself. The curly-furred Tom rose to his paws, taking note of the stiffness in his joints. He certainly wasn't an apprentice still, but he was nowhere close to retirement. He'd have to visit the medicine den about that later. Haresky walked over to his sister and brother-in-law, purring kindly at their activities. "Affectionate as always, I see," He purred slightly teasingly.

Cedarwhisp | Camp | Stormchaser (@velveteenwolf ), Haresky (Sparkly ) Cedarwhisp anchored herself in an upright position on her haunches, freeing both of her front paws for optimal damage. However, in this case the 'damage' inflicted was feigned swipes at the tom's ears. The honey brown warrior laughed as dust covered Stormchaser's pelt, and grappled with the stormy warrior as she tried to roll him onto his back. "Thou shall follow the rules or feel my wrath," the golden-accented tabby repeated, her tone growing monotone and wooden in jest. This moment of carefree affection was short-lived, as her ears grew hot when she sensed someone approaching. Missing her mate altogether, Cedarwhisp careened to the side and toppled over. A cloud of sandy-dust caught the wind and billowed from where she had contacted camp's flooring. Blinking the dusty haze from her eyes, the warrior's whiskers twitched uneasily. This is not the way a mentor should act, let alone a warrior, she thought to herself sourly. Albeit, the scolding was a way of inwardly preparing herself for whoever had caught them behaving this way.
Cedarwhisp's throat caught at the sight of her elder brother. Yet another thing he could teasingly hold over her head. Shaking out her honey brown pelt, she proudly picked herself up and quickly licked her chest fur flat. "Oh, hey Haresky!" Cedarwhisp said in greeting, crinkling her nose at his comment. " Pffft, what? No...We were, er- sparring together to keep our skills sharp. Isn't that right, Stormchaser?" She turned to catch her mate's eye, looking over the tom as she sought out backup. The giddy look on his face, dust-covered and handsome stormy charcoal fur made her heart swell. Sighing, Cedarwhisp returned her attention to Haresky. "Alright, you caught us," She admitted, then asked, "How are you doing today?"

"I'm doing quite well, personally," Haresky mused. "I haven't been out of camp yet, but a quick border check or hunting session later can easily fix that. How about you?" He asked, tilting his head to one side. His right ear flopped down - he had injured it a little while ago, and now, if he tilted his head, it was too much effort to bother keeping it pricked like he did on his left side. Hopefully, it'd heal at least a little bit soon enough.

Having smelled her mates familiar scent and heard his paw steps before he had even spoken, a grin soon split across her midnight black expression, soon lifting herself though with some difficulty onto her usually deft paws. Thunderblossom turned around to touch her nose to his cheek in delighted greeting. Soaking in the scent of the moors that clung to his pelt, a smell which by now had begun to feel more like a distant memory than it did a place she had once known. She ran her muzzle though his fur with a bright smile, ecstatic to see the tom she loved.
It felt that they never had the chance to share on another’s company anymore, and whilst Thunderblossom had never been one to especially pine for company, she was beginning to feel the ache of missing his presence. She understood he was busy of course, but it made her sad all the same. So it was these moments that she tried to bask in the most.
“Good afternoon,” the purr rumbled from her much smaller frame as she rubbed her head under his chin. “I slept ok, thank you,” but how she was feeling wasn’t the priority. “How was hunting? How are the moors? Any issues? Any problems?” Her paws ached to get out of camp and stretch again, but she was all too aware it wasn’t likely to happen any time soon. { WILDSKY; camp with Thunderblossom -- @velveteenwolf Wildsky inhaled deeply as Thunderblossom ran her head underneath and along his muzzle, her scent curling in thick waves around him. Due to how much time she was spending in the nursery, she now smelled of milk, down feathers, moss, and blossoming flowers. He felt like just a few moons ago she smelled of the moors and nothing else from how much time she spent running around on patrols. But now that she was pregnant with his kits, he wanted nothing more than her and his kits' safety, so he was fine with her staying in camp most of the time. However, that didn't mean he didn't miss her. He tried to be in camp and with her as often as possible, but that was becoming an increasingly difficult task. With Hawthornstar losing his willpower, Wildsky was left to perform both leader and deputy duties. It was almost more than he could take. Wildsky laughed a bit at how nosy his mate was being; he couldn't imagine being in camp was very exciting, though, so he didn't blame her. "No issues, love," he reassured. "Hunting was fine, prey is running well today. I bet you can't wait to get back out there. I know everyone misses you on patrols."

The stormy furred tom had rather been enjoying his little game with his mate, but he knew it would all too quickly come to a halt as he heard the familiar voice of his brother in law sound from a few foxlengths away. Sitting up though the grin still lit his expression, he lowered his head to quickly swipe his tongue across his dark grey chest in an attempt to regain some form of dignity before looking up. Watching his mate with laughter still brimming in his gaze as she quickly sought to make excuses, whilst he might not have been the face of elegance in that moment the thing that shone through the most was his affection for the equally dust covered golden shecat at his side. But it was apparent that her attempt to make excuses would have struggled to convince a newborn kit. He brushed against her with a chuckle, “But of course,” he said playfully, knowing full well that Haresky wasnt remotely believing what she was saying. “Sparring, nothing else. In fact I cant stand your sister, I was trying to kill her,” Stormchaser’s grin gave him away more than enough as he pressed close to her. Amusement only furthered when she at last gave up and admitted the horrific crime they had committed, playing.
“Good to hear it,” the storm coloured tom cat responded in regards to Haresky’s comment, stretching out in the dust beside his mate. Apparently deciding if he couldnt clean himself, he might as well become one with the dust rather than try to fight it. “I’ve been alright myself,” he added with a grin, knowing the question likely wasnt directed towards himself, he was fond enough of the tom he considered a brother in law. Not that he knew Haresky all that well to be able to comment one way or the other. “I managed to show this sister of yours what a true hunter looks like, gave her some tips.” He teased, touching his nose to Cedarwhisp’s with a rumbling purr. ————————————————————————
Listening intently, as a kitten might have done when being told a story by an elder. The midnight black warrior queen tilted her head from one side to the other. Knowing that even if there had been skirmishes or battles, the tom cat likely wouldn’t have been truthful with her as to avoid stress. These days it felt like no one was honest with her, as though pregnancy made her incredibly weak willed or paranoid. But she could taste no lie on the air when he finished speaking, hence decided that for now Wildsky had spoken the truth, and accepted it as such. “Its good to hear,” she responded with a smile, lowering her nose momentarily to pull a burr from the soft fur of her underbelly and drop it to the side. “A fox close to camp wouldn’t be all too helpful right now,” she purred. Excitement bristled from the young queen in regards to the close birth of her kits, even if she was surprisingly young to be baring a litter, it was apparent to anyone that she anticipated their arrival with great joy. Even if there were dangers attached to it considering her age.
“But even the most mundane of patrols or hunting sessions is far more exciting than being imprisoned in the nursery all day,” she grumbled but with a chuckle all the same. As much as she hated it, she knew it was for the best. But she simply wished she could at least rid her legs of the itch to run and stretch, she wasnt a lazy cat by nature. “I think the elders are allowed more freedom than me!” She exclaimed.

Welcome back Velv ^w^ ))Cedarwhisp | Camp | Stormchaser (@velveteenwolf ), Haresky (Sparkly )Cedarwhisp rested onto her paws, smoothing her chest fur with a few swift licks, then flicking Stormchaser with her tail-tip in response to his hunting comment. The warrior's honey brown pelt once again was covered in sand, albeit she didn't care in the least. Golden-accents muted under the thin coating, she rolled her shoulders elastically to shrug off the covering sand. As the cloud of dust settled her sea green eyes cleared of the haziness between the trio. It warmed her heat to see the two toms interact with each other, especially since she was close to her brother.
"You should've seen Stormchaser this morning,"Cedarwhisp mentioned, her tone rasping over affectionately. "I don't know who's a faster swimmer, but I'm almost completely sure he jumped in the Loch after the fish." The tabby turned her attention to the stormy warrior beside her, eyes bright with amusement and adoration.

Sniffing with playful disgust as he battered her ears with a paw, “Those fish never stood a chance,” he exclaimed, light amusement brightening his gaze. “They were running, or rather swimming for the lives the moment I entered the lake! But it was no use, I was too powerful for them.” He touched his nose to Cedarwhisp’s ear with a rumbling chuckle, surprised at the amount of attention he was receiving considering her usual prude tendencies when it came to being around other cats. “Your sister was a fine hunter herself, of course.” He added, feeling obliged to return the compliment for fear of losing an ear for his cheek.

Cedarwhisp | Camp | Stormchaser (@velveteenwolf ), Haresky (Sparkly )Cedarwhisp smiled, beaming inwardly with pride over Stormchaser's compliment. Normally unbothered by validation or praise for what she deemed responsibilities as a Lochclan warrior, she adored her mate's effort in front of her elder brother. As Haresky was older than her, she constantly would try to prove herself to him, and albeit recently she'd grown out of it- her heart still wanted to make him proud. The honey brown tabby lifted herself to her paws, sending a cascade of sand off of her sides. "We brought back a good catch," Cedarwhisp acknowledged, turning her eyes towards the stormy tom beside her. "And half of The Red Summit's sand with us, if I have to say."
The golden accented tabby smiled, shaking off her fur. Although Stormchaser had already helped rid herself of the reddish terrain, they seemed to be covered yet again. She was in an affectionate mood, and decided that another grooming wouldn't do the pair wrong. Cedarwhisp made a mental note of going to a more secluded space, her eyes brightened at the thought of a nice walk through the territory. As long as they didn't run into any other Dark forest cats, she thought uneasily. The starry-furred clanmates milling around camp caught her eye as she slipped into absentminded thought.

Wolftumble | Camp
Wolftumble's eyes blinked at the invading light that seeped through the den's roof. We should really repair that soon... She thought to herself, letting out a sleep groan. She realized there was a lack of warmth around her, leading her to raise her head and peer around with bleary eyes. Most, if not all, of her denmates were gone... "Mousedung! How long did I oversleep?" She sputtered, a slight slur in her words from sleepiness. She scrambled to her paws, heading out into the camp, not bothering to wash any leftover den debris from her coat. At this point, it was tradition! She already had some leaves and a few small twigs caught in her fur from the day before, she almost looked forward to what kind of things she could decorate her coat with today. The wind got knocked out of her as she walked right into another cat, their head bumping right into her soft-furred chest. She huffed as she stopped in her tracks, looking down to make sure the other cat was alright. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry! Are you alright? I wasn't looking where I was going..." Once she got a better look at them, she realized it was Cedarwhisp. She seemed to have been talking with Stormchaser and Haresky. Oh no, did I interrupt them? I hope they aren't angry...

A rumble of affectionate amusement came from his chest, as he removed a clump of sand from between his withers, the aftermath of his mate’s careless shaking not that he seemed to especially care about it. “Your sister always seems to have an incredible talent when it comes to collecting sand, I’m surprised her nest ever remains remotely tidy for more than a heartbeat at a time. Let alone how she manages to remain somewhat clean herself,” the adoration all but poured from the muscled tom when it came to speaking about his mate. He was shameless in it, and couldn’t frankly have cared less as to what his clanmates thought about his actions. He moved to say something further when they were interrupted suddenly by a familiar scent. Then with a similar suddenness, a cat walking into him as though he had never been there in the first place, pulling a mreow of surprise and amusement from his lips as he caught himself before he could stumble forward.
“Good morning, wolftumble,” his laugh was a good natured one, gesturing for the warrior to settle beside the trio if she so wished. “Did you sleep well?” His whiskers twitched with amusement as did the slight glimmer to his gaze as he shifted ver to give her room if she wanted to. “I’m fine,” the grin continued t9 light his expression. Never one to especially become annoyed by small mistakes, “Are you ok? You look like you work up in the loch!”

Nothing really happened Sparkly ^w^ We could go into the territory maybe? Is it sunhigh yet? I'm lost with what time it is lmao )) Cedarwhisp | Camp | Stormchaser (@velveteenwolf ), Haresky (Sparkly ), Wolftumble (⁻ ⁻ ☾ ᵇˡᵘᵉ ᵐᵒᵒᶰ )Cedarwhisp blinked in confusion as the grey form of Wolftumble knocked into her. Picking herself up, the honey brown warrior gave herself a shake before focussing on the cats in front of her. A faint laugh escaped her lips as her whiskers were creased and bent, hanging from her muzzle haphazardly. "Hey Wolftumble," The golden accented tabby mused, her sea green eyes betraying warmth and recognition of her friend and clanmate. "I'm glad you're awake. Would you like to go on a walk through the territory with us?" Cedarwhisp offered, thinking on her paws as she turning her attention to Stormchaser and then Haresky. Lounging around camp was fine, she quite enjoyed the company of everybody. But the need to do something, anything, was creeping up on her. The she-cat tended to be at her best when constantly busy, but moments of stagnancy weren't a bad thing, as she was learning to not rush herself. She angled her body in order to give a few swift licks over her shoulder, before standing up on her paws and looking ready for an adventure. "We could check out the borders while we're at it, what do you guys think?"

Cedarwhisp | Camp | Stormchaser (@velveteenwolf ), Haresky (Sparkly ), Wolftumble (⁻ ⁻ ☾ ᵇˡᵘᵉ ᵐᵒᵒᶰ )Cedarwhisp rolled her eyes and cast a light flick across her brother's shoulder. "I'm sure we'll be fine on dry land." The honey brown tabby responded, her crinkled whiskers slowly regaining their shape. Drawing her gaze across the group of cats in front of her, the golden-accented warrior felt like a breath of fresh air had washed over her. Or, perhaps it was the breeze making its way across camp. Closing her eyes for a brief heartbeat, Cedarwhisp turned towards the entrance and held back for any suggestions. The idea of being bossy or pushy sat like a pit in her stomach, so she settled onto her hind end once again. Her face twitched for a second while she wondered absentmindedly about the mild, persistent feeling in her stomach that she couldn't quite describe. It was quickly brushed off. She turned to meet her mate's eyes, silently trying to reassure him that they didn't have to go to the summit. Not after earlier this morning, she felt like that had ruffled both her and Stormchaser the wrong way.
"Where do you guys feel like going?" Cedarwhisp asked, her expression brightening once again.
