(I can!)
Mintshadow stared at the warriors den with tired eyes, after the rogues killed her brother she had been doing her best to keep everyone's spirits up. Then again, her sister was now in love with a murderer, and her father had been so focused on Fallowberry's kits that she didn't want to attempt to try and speak with him. Her ears fell flat against her head as thoughts rushed through her mind. Stressed was the best word to describe the bengal she-cat. She slowly stood up and decided the best way to get her mind off of everything was to do what she knew how to do best, get attention. Some cats avoided her for her attention seeking ways, but it was what she knew. Her eyes scanned the camp and her tail swayed smoothly back and forth as she searched for an unsuspecting tom. Her eyes landed on Hedgehogtuft, the tom may not have been the prettiest but that had little affect on his ability to give her attention. Who was she to judge anyway, her mother was beautiful and she had been a terrible cat. She approached the warrior and gave a happy smile "hiya!"

Hedgehogtuft physically startled, as he had been sulking in thought at the side of camp, and not many people approached him. Looking up with his wet, milky eyes he saw it was Mintshadow, her fur as glossy as ever in the sunlight, though what everyone caught his gaze for was how beautiful their clear eyes were. Immediately he became a little more self-conscious than usual in the presence of such a pretty cat, tilting his face to the side. "O-Oh! Hello Mintshadow, does someone need me for something?" He meowed politely, his M's very softly pronounced.

(could you start hawk? )
Mintshadow sat next next to the tom and she sat up tall, her tail wrapped neatly around her paws and she happily shook her head. Her ears sat attentively at the top of her head, alert to engage completely in the conversation. She spoke as if the camp wasn't in a dreadful state, she had learned the more excited she seemed the more other cats relaxed. "No, I just wanted to talk to you!" she exclaimed, looking at him she tried to decide how he was. Some cats grew uncomfortable with her flirting so she was going to take this one slower, not wanting to scare away a potential friend.

Hedgehogtuft also straightened up, his tail draped out stiffly beside him, and made what may have looked like a concerned face at Mintshadow. He hadn't really spoken to her personally before, though he did know she was almost as social as she was put together. Maybe something had happened? Though, he had no family in the clan. Either way, he still felt an awkward warmth to his cheeks and did his best to smile, albeit crookedly. "Oh, alright. Erm, how are you? I found something quite strange in the snow today." The tom attempted nervously, looking at the bengal fully.

Rain returns from his training session with Ajax. He didn't look to happy and appeared to have a scratch or to on his pelt. "Angry, overbearing mousebrain." He muttered as he moves to the warriors den. Rain still wondered why he got matched with the meanest rogue.

Mintshadow glanced at the entrance to camp, not wanting to be honest on how she was. She wasn't very well, in fact she was more stressed than ever. She knew she couldn't say that, though. She wouldn't put that pressure on another cat so she just kept her happy body language and she kneaded her paws gently against the earth. "I'm doing alright, what did you find?" she asked in a gentle tone, tilting her head to the side to try and look cute. She had always been one to earn attention, of course she did it subtly so that cats wouldn't call her out on it. She had been this way since her mother had left her alone because of her and her siblings imperfections. She liked talking to other cats, even without the attention.

Silentpaw noticed her brother and she bounded over to the tom, when she noticed his pelt her ears fell and she nodded to it, unable to speak to ask him what was wrong. She knew her siblings understood her better than the other cats, but sometimes they didn't understand her as well.

Hedgehogtuft blinked wetly, his ears perked. "A fully intact flower! Not even wilted, like it had just bloomed right there in the snow, in this kind of weather? I could hardly believe it." He seemed very enthusiastic about this one silly thing, especially with the clan in such a dismal and dark state. The mottled tom leaned in a bit conspiratorially. "You know, I think someone along time ago told me about a place where herbs and flowers bloom even in blizzards, do you think that could've been proof that it's real? Hedgehogtuft asked her genuinely.

(hey I just wanted to let you know I'll be a bit poofy as our bordering clan, Lightningclan, is having a trivia night and I'm a judge so I will be helping with that!"
Mintshadow blinked and her eyes lit up with happiness at his words "really?" she asked, now surprised at his discovery. She thought carefully about his question before she responded "I think it's possible! Maybe one day one of us will find a place like that! You should tell the kits about it so they can look and tell their kits." She stopped to take a breath as she had ranted a bit longer tha she had expected.

Rainpaw lifted up his head and purred softly. "Hey Silentpaw, don't worry I'm fine." He said smiling softly at her.

(Sorry for the late reply, had to do finish something quickly. He's actually talking about the arctic, since they do have flowers that grow even in the cold!)
Hedgehogtuft gave her a funny look again but still smiled, it felt like someone had rolled a weight off of his chest because this wasn't going as terribly as he thought it would. "Maybe I will, and maybe we will!" He meowed brightly, recalling the full story vaguely. "It's supposed to be very far away, to the left of the direction the sun sets in leaf-bare, and to the right in green-leaf." He sat up and looked at the sky. "But the days there are supposed be endless in the warmer season and almost nonexistent in the colder, so that the sun shifts between never setting and never rising for moons." Thinking about it now, it was told to him a long time ago when they were still traveling between territories, most likely by the medicine cat at the time, since that was the cat he was with most while growing up. "Maybe a long time ago, one of us went there, and that's how we know it exists..."

thanks! no rush btw, take ur time )) Duskwish trotted through the entrance, returning from a small walk. She spotted Quailtuft looking flustered, his flicking tailtip swishing leaves around. "Hey," She purred while approaching. "Are you okay? You look tired." The she-cat settled next to him and neatly curled her feathery tail over her paws.

Finally she shook her head and shivered at the thought of the sun not rising for moons. "It seems kind of intimidating if the sun would set for that long. I would hate trying to tell what time of day it was!" she exclaimed with careful wording. She quickly shook her pelt before she began grooming it so that it kept up it's sleek look. She thought about this place he was talking about, she had traveled many moons as she was a senior warrior, even if she had the personality of an apprentice. She had never seen a place like he spoke of, but if the flowers bloomed even in the cold moons of leafbare, perhaps it was a beautiful place.

"I'm fine." She replied. "I haven't eaten all day, but there were no signs of prey when I was out." Duskwish smooth a ruffled patch of fur on shoulder, half-closing her eyes calmly. "I heard you got into a scrape with a rogue the other day." She meowed causiously between laps.

Hedgehogtuft nodded, "Yeah, though I think a night that long might be very pretty." he said wistfully, idly fidgeting with his paws and flicking his tail. "We'd never get a curfew, and then going out so late wouldn't be so weird anymore." He tied to joke, glancing at Mintshadow, no longer trying to hide his scarred face. "The stars could be our sun instead, instead of one we could have hundreds of little lights, as well as the moon, to guide ourselves." The tom sighed, sinking onto his stomach and feeling the cool chill of the earth seep into his bones. Sometimes he felt that the Sunclan territory wasn't so fun anymore, especially with everything happening, everything had become dull and repetitive after a few moons passed. He missed seeing new things.

Duskwish nodded in agreement, glad the Clan had a sensible warrior like Quailtuft. "There was no prey I could scent, but I didn't go too far." She replied. "Should we go look for some soon?" The she-cat suggested before standing up to stretch.
