{ Fort, she’s giving birth out in the territory. :/ If you want you can go back and read through, it’s pretty clear all the way through. Not sure where it all starts though ^^’
Heya guys! And don’t worry, Frostedstar has just begun to give birth, and a fox attacked them lol. She couldn’t make her way back to camp so it’s out on the middle of nowhere.
Anyways! I’ll try to get on later today, looks like it will be a long day at work though. I’m excited to hopefully get the plot rolling! }

{ I hope this is okay, haha. I glanced over the posts, more than deeply read them - but I got the gist of it. }
LittlefootVerglasClan Territory The Fox Fight She did not look behind her to ensure that the others were following - the scent of Clanmates mingled with the scent of the fox and her heart skipped a beat. Littlefoot sped up, kicking up snow behind her and moving faster than she had in her life. An achievement, considering the races she'd run as an apprentice. The sight of russet fur caught her first, before the pelts of her Clanmates caught her eye and her breath caught in her throat, teeth already bared before she approached. It felt like time slowed as her claws unsheathed and she watched the fox, her eyes narrowing. Think fast, she thought, will you be a coward and simply yowl, or are you going to be brave? More than anything, she wanted to be brave. She watched its jaws snap and adjusted her course. Wait for an opening. But she didn't have long. When she saw the opportunity, she flung herself at the fox and slashed before bouncing away as quickly as she could, barely escaping its gnashing teeth. She darted over to Pineshade, ears flat against her skull and eyes widened. "A-are..." she couldn't find words, and instead she arched her back at the fox, teeth bared and a low growl in her throat. Littlefoot doubted that it wa very intimidating - but she had to try. "A-is...is everyone...is everyone okay?"

Fox & Pineshade | Frostedstar, Wolfmane, Littlefoot, etc.The fox pressed its haunches against the cold bark of a tree, ears flat and head low as he gaped threateningly at the surrounding cats. His teeth snapped and clacked against the air between them. Frothed saliva, driven by both hunger and indignation, dribbled into the mixture of blood and foam matted into his chest. Outnumbered by his presumed prey, the fox battered his paws at the animals around him as his teeth snapped and gashed at everything within reach. Just as he'd forced an opportunity for escape, the bloodied canid's vulnerable throat was open for attack. Distracted by the other hissing and scratching warriors, the fox was battered to his side by a flash of brown tabby fur. Whipping around to face the new foe, he realized that it was already out of his grasp. Seething, the fox lunged for the white and orange splashed cat hanging off the side of his face, then the large grey one, and the other female that he'd just thrown off of his face. Launching himself through the barricade of fur, teeth and claws, the fox tried to flee, blood splattering from his sides as branches ricochetted around him.
Pineshade thudded on his side as the fox ripped free from his grasp. His mouth and chest fur were matted in a thick red swath, but the blood was rank and smelled of canid. The large white and orange splashed tom kept his claws unsheathed, but teetered on three paws; he favored one hind leg. Spurts of his own blood dripped in rivulets down his tendon. Pineshade watched in awe as a flash of tabby fur lunged at the fox and artfully darted out of its reach, teeth snapping on thin air behind the shecat. Recognizing Littlefoot, he let out a sigh of relief. They needed all the reinforcements that could get. "Frostedstar .... kitting..." Pineshade said, his voice interrupted as he caught his breath. "She's.....Unconcious. The fox is on the defensive now, we have to chase it over the border!" The tom said, turning his green eyes to match the smaller warrior. He faltered for a heartbeat, growing weary as loss of blood sapped his strength. They needed to act quickly.

Littlefoot VerglasClan Territory Speaking to Pineshade [Tekoa]
Her eyes were ablaze as she watched the fire, but they softened as she looked to her fellow warrior. Worry clouded her gaze and she stepped closer before looking towards the fox. It was retreating - but Pineshade was right. It needed to leave the territory. Frostedstar's kitting sounded like a problem, but she could smell Gracklefur and that had to mean that the leader was in good paws. "Are you...are you fit enough to chase it?" she asked, "you can - you can stay, if not. I'll be okay to chase it."
She stayed beside the tom, glanced to his paws. He's hurt, she thought, gaze flicking up to his face again. After a couple of seconds, she hopped forward, tail bushed out as she prepared to chase. Her claws remained unsheathed, her teeth bared as she crouched and wiggled her haunches, preparing for the chase. But she waited for Pineshade's response, because she didn't want to leave him behind if he wanted to come - and didn't want to pressure him into chasing, either. If he was injured, he was injured. There was little that could be done for now. { This is the closest I can find to what Littlefoot looks like! }

Aaaaa, she's so cute oml x3 ^^ )) Fox & Pineshade | Littlefoot, + openPineshade looked over his shoulder at the pretty little shecat, determination numbing the pain in his leg. Or, more likely, shock still prevented him from feeling the full extent to his injuries. Whatever the case may be, there was no way in Starclan that he'd let Littlefoot chase the fox on her own. He knew she was more than capable to hold her own against the beast, but wouldn't forgive himself if she got injured while he remained stagnant. "I'm fine," Pineshade replied, a reassuring smile brightening his stricken features. "It looks worse than it really is." He wasn't lying, his pelt was a stark contrast against the dark red oozing from his wound. It looked more severe than it really was, but the tom was going off of adrenaline. The second he rested, it would bloody hurt, no pun intended. "Go, you're faster than I am. I'll be right behind you!" Pineshade said, unsheathed his claws and bounding after Littlefoot. His striding was lopsided and awkward, but he managed to keep a steady pace. The thundering paws of the fox where still close, but the longer they waited the farther it progressed. If it wasn't chased off of the territory, it could circle back in the future.
The fox tore through the forest on swift paws, his bulky figure surprisingly agile as he outpaced the cats behind him. Knowing his head start wouldn't last long, especially if the daft little creatures dared to give chase, he pushed through the undergrowth as quickly as he could. Rounding a snow drift, he spun on his haunches and glowered in frustration at the red pawprints marking his trail. Chest heaving, with lungs that felt ready to burst, he skulked around the wooded foliage in wait for the felines tailing him. Thick blood dribbled down the side of his muzzle, compromising his nose with the stench of iron. it leaked into his mouth and matted the wounds crosshatching his pelt. Chirping with vexation, the fox panted accusingly at the cats as they came into focus. This much energy exerted on the filthy little creatures was appalling. They were his prey, they should be running away from him, no the other way around. A spark of vengeance gripped his stomach. No, his teeth yearned for one last rip of flesh. The fox gaped his maw and circled back towards the cats with a stubborn vigor etching his crazed green eyes.

{ ^^ I enjoy the innocent face in the pic, aha. }
LittlefootVerglasClan Territory With Pineshade [ Tekoa] Littlefoot darted after the fox with a rapid pace and her eyes focused after it. If she lost sight of it, her nose would show her the way - though the sounds were loud enough. She knew that the prey would be scared away from this path for the rest of the day - the stench of both fox and cat would be...too strong. I'll do some hunting on the way back, she told herself, to give herself something to look forward too. The feeling of running was a freeing one. Wind in her fur and the world a blur beside her, it reminded her of all the hard training she'd put in to refine her speed into something controllable. Now, it was being utilised. She could always see the fox ahead of her, which was both terrifying and exhilarating. This was truly happening, and she could only hope that no harm would come to her Clanmates. When she lost sight of it, it wasn't a worry. She could continue to follow the scent and followed the trail of red, her nose twitching as she hared along. The molly realised that the crashing and crunching had slowed and was no longer getting further away - but she was too fast. As she tried to stop, she skidded and slipped, landing on her side and flipping as she slid towards the fox. Her claws dug into the ground and her tail bushed up, a vicious hiss escaping her as she stared at the large beast, eyes widened. It's so big, I didn't realise. She thought, sides heaving as she tried to regain her balance, I got a little cocky. Let's hope it doesn't take advantage.

Fox & Pineshade | Littlefoot, + openThe fox narrowed his eyes, one ear to the ground as he listened for paw steps. He vexed in anticipation as his ruse unfolded. One of them was quite the tracker, so it seemed. Lurching backwards on his shoulder blades, his teeth bared viciously as the pair swung into view. A little tabby brown cat raced towards him, going at such a fast pace that it caught the fox off guard. Looming over the feline, the russet canid watched in fascination as it skidded towards him with a spray of snow. Launching forward with malicious intent, his teeth gnashed the air; frothy saliva catching in an arc of red and translucent white. Before he could sink his carnassial and incisors deep into the vulnerable cat's flesh, a heavy weight slammed into the crown of his skull. The fox recoiled, positively seething at missing yet another kill. White and orange fur blurred his vision, as did the familiar taste of a wound he had just recently inflicted.
Pineshade was a few badger-lengths behind Littlefoot, his injury and larger size causing him to fall behind the speedy warrior. Just as he'd skirted the bloody snowbank when the fox came into full view. Sharp teeth glinted against the sunlight as it launched itself at the tabby she-cat, jaws agape and frothing with malicious intent. Feeling his blood boil, the white and orange splashed tom flung himself against the animals head. The sound of bone hitting bone ricochetted through his body with jarring impact. The momentum sent both tom and fox bowling over, he scrambled and kicked out his legs as the foxes face landed on top of him. Restricted, panicked, with his heart thundering in his chest; Pineshade sunk his claws deep into the fleshy skin of the beast's ear cavity. Pineshade screeched, grappling with the fox as he quickly lost the upper hand. His hind leg smeared a swath of red as he was pressed into the snow. Just as he was about to loose hope, the foxes' weight lifted.
The fox caterwauled as he was bowled over into the snow. Shaking off the white and orange cat, he smacked it away with a bludgeoning blow from his paw. Fed up with these cats, who apparently had a death wish and no knowledge of predator hierarchy, he fled. This time he wasn't going to stop. For all he cared, the fox wanted to get as far away from these warrior cats as he could. Even the fat ones packed a punch, he thought bitterly as the white and orange one tumbled away from him with the grace of a constipated toad.

LittlefootVerglasClan Territory With Pineshade [ Tekoa] Visions of her life flashed before her eyes as the fox, body frozen and eyes widened as she stared into the depths of the fox's maw. She couldn't move - she didn't remember how to. Littlefoot remained on the ground, tensed in pure fear. When death didn't come, however, she dared to bring herself back to the present - only to see the scene unfold before her. Pineshade, she thought, scrabbling desperately to her paw as she watched in growing horror. Worry darkened her gaze and she rushed towards the two, claws out and ready to attack...but it seemed that the fox had given up, as it fled the scene. Though tempted to follow it, they were close enough to the border that she could leave it. Instead, she redirected her attention to the other warrior and hurried to his side, tail still bushed out and fur still risen. She felt like a frightened kit. "Pineshade..." she mewed, voice thin. "I'm--I'm sorry, I didn't think, I didn't..." What excuses could she possibly have come up with? None, really. She'd been confident that the fox wouldn't turn around and had underestimated both her own speed and the lack of traction on the snow. She took a deep, shaky breath and pressed herself down to the ground next to the tom, scanning his body quickly. "Where--where are you hurt? Are you okay?"

(Also, I've had an idea I've been playing with for a while in regards to what will be my next clan, and where better to ask about it than here?
It is a clan whose beliefs in starclan are a lot stronger than most, in that ghosts and spirits have place in day to day life, and those with the strongest beliefs are able to converse freely with these ghosts. but the clan is lead by a leader, whilst he believes in starclan, the hardships he has had in his life have lead him to lose faith in their power and the extent to which they are good. and when the clan's interactions with these ghosts become fewer and far between, and the dark spirits [effectively dark forest cats] begin to become more and more occurent, the clan begin to believe it is the fault of the leader. I was also playing with the idea of this clan either being set on a moor, or by a loch.)

Just responding to nite, a timeskip would be great! ^^ )) Also, that sounds really interesting Velv!))
Pineshade | Littlefoot (@aconite )Pineshade tumbled sidelong into the snow, head over tail, before shooting upright in a dazed stupor. Ears ringing from the foxes' final blow, the white and orange tom stared blankly as he regained his bearings. He was never a graceful cat nor was he the most talented fighter. The tom stared at his paws, sheathing and unsheathing his claws as he examined the damage. A wretched out claw, sore muscles, and bitten leg. Not bad for a fox fight, Pineshade thought, feeling rather proud of himself. Some battle scars would do him well.
A concerned meow brought him back into the present. Pineshade blinked as Littlefoot came into focus, the lithe brown tabby was a refreshing sight to his sore eyes. Slowly picking himself up paw by paw, the tom dawned a goofy grin- as he tried to hide the twinge of pain scissoring up his hind leg. "No need to be sorry," Pineshade responded, trying his best at a soothing tone of voice. "I wasn't thinking, either. Did you see how hard I hit that thing on the head? Yeowch- My ears are still ringing." Humor being his defense mechanism against pretty much anything, the orange splashed warrior tried to seem unfazed. Touching his muzzle to Littlefoot's cheek in a reassuring gesture, Pineshade pulled himself out of the snowbank. "I'm fine, really. You don't have to worry." The warrior put all his weight on his hind leg in order to prove his point, but it almost buckled under his weight, earning a grimace from the large tom.
