Meadowleap had been out and about since the very earliest hint of dawn in the morning, and since then the fluffy chocolate calico had stayed out. First attending the dawn patrol, then later offering to do a bit of hunting in the canyon as well, and well, she hadn’t actually found any prey at first so the adventurous she-cat had taken to bouncing around the canyon in search of something fun to do. It had left her away from camp for the entire morning. Meadowleap probably would have stayed out of camp for even longer as well if it hadn’t been for the loud tumbling emitting from her stomach like some sort of ravenous beast demanding to be let out of its cage.
So, much to her own disappointment, Meadowleap did have to make her way back to camp. But not before she did a little hunting of her own. After all, it only seemed right to bring something back with her, pull her own weight and all that. So once the warrior made it back to camp, she dropped the small mice she had found onto the pile and examined it for something of her own. After a quick examination of what there was to offer, Meadowleap chose for herself a lizard and padded over towards the pool in the middle of the camp and settled down, letting out a pleased purr as she began to dig into her meal. With any luck, she could eat this and head out of camp again. Maybe she could ask Firestar to place her on a patrol. Anything to get out of camp even more. Meadowleap would take whatever she could kept to escape the campsite.

 Dawnwatcher- - - Camp; Meadowleap; 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 Having woken up to an empty nest beside her, the young warrior thought nothing of it. Something she had grown used to with her mate, but she did occasionally feel a twinge in her heart at the absence, not that she would ever say anything. The calico had been on a patrol late the night before and had gotten to sleep past moonhigh and hence had slept in a little longer than she might have usually.
Lifting herself onto slender paws, she stretched out for a moment before slipping through the entrance of the warriors den with a content twitch of her tail. Blinking the sleep from her eyes and to ignore the stinging in her gaze as the bright sunlight lit the orange of her pelt aflame. She cast her gaze the clearing, and soon spotted the familiar pelt of the smoky calico. Dawnwatcher approached with a purred greeting, settling down beside her clanmate and stretching out with a yawn. "Good morning,” the slender warrior meowed. Tasting the scent of the territory in her mate’s fur, but she felt frustration burning in her pelt. Appearing concerned, she asked with a twitch of her ears. ”How are you today?” |

Everything had been fine for Meadowleap until Dawnwatcher approached. Now, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the she-cat...her mate in general. She was a fine warrior and once upon a time Meadowleap had truly loved her. However after the moons went on, Meadowleap found herself slowly but surely falling out of love with her mate. It was a tricky situation considering Meadowleap didn’t want to hurt her nor did she see a way out, however she also couldn’t find that spark that had once existed moons ago.
Instantly tensing up when Dawnwatcher approached, Meadowleap did the sensible thing and crammed as much food into her mouth as she could, trying to gulp it down and finish her lizard within the next few second. This of course was as stupid as anything else Meadowleap might do on an average day and chocked, causing her to cough up the food again and then continue coughing until she finally settled down and forced herself to relax.
Carefully she looked over at the other calico, eyes wide as if she had been caught stealing catnip or something out of the medicine cat’s den for her own purposes. ”Oh, Dawnwatcher...mornin’ how’d ya sleep n’all that?” She asked quickly, flicking her tail back and forth as she examined the other warrior.

(Yeah, but I’d rather let the character make themselves than me force them to be who they’re not. It’s nothing against Dawn or you or their relationship, I was looking forward to it, but Meadow was going for something else so I’m letting her take the wheel here. :3)

(I just have a very strong belief in letting my characters write themselves. I’ve tried to force something with my characters before and it never works out. So now I just let them do whatever they want and I just write it. :3 So that’s what I’m doing here, besides it might be fun to write a relationship like this, I never see this in roleplays and I’m always up for trying something new and unique!)

(Plus Meadowleap did love Dawnwatcher before, and it seems a little unfair to take that away from them when this is a very realistic thing that happens in relationship, adds drama (which I know you love) and adds a unique element to both Meadow and Dawn as characters and to the roleplay as a whole since it’s something I for one, haven’t seen before?)

(That’s not what I said? Never did I say you couldn’t write your characters the way you wanted, im simply asking why it has to be one or the other? Why ruin a perfectly good plot that could work for both characters in interesting ways just because it’s not a picture perfect relationship? I hope I’m not coming off as rude, I just don’t know why you suddenly don’t want to do this? I tried to plot with you earlier and you ignored me...I’m just trying to make it interesting and fun for everyone involved? :3)

(You don’t have too? It’s just a suggestion. However if you have any complaints or something of the sort, you are more than welcome to pm me. After all, this is supposed to be fun for everyone. I’d hate for you to be in a roleplay where your characters can’t be want you want either. Though I do think it would be fun and not another ordinary, boring, perfect relationship so often found in roleplays.)

They don’t have to be mates since you seem to be so against it and I noticed some hostility from you once I brought it up. I’d rather you not fight with me Storm, but if you don’t want it to happen, it doesn’t have to happen. I simply thought it would be interesting, that’s all and I’m sorry you seem to think I’m fighting you when I’m not.)

Storm, please also realize you are talking to a moderator of this clan, as well.
If you truly have a problem with what S'more was suggesting, or how her character came around, then ask if they not be mates, it's rather simple. You're only making this harder on yourself.
I'm sure someone will come around so you can give Dawn a mate, but for now, just have fun and roleplay her! c: |

All I was suggesting was a possible plot that might be fun. You seem to be against that idea and I am fine with not doing it and just scrapping the idea of them being mates entirely, however I would still appreciate an apology as well as I do not believe this was entirely on me.) |

Look @velveteenwolf, I’m not looking for a fight, but I will stand my ground. I apologized to you, I admitted to making mistakes and I apologized, repeatedly. You have done none of those things and have made me feel unwelcome in a roleplay I helped create. You have accused me of things that are not true and have put words in my mouth that I never said and I for one will not put up with that. As a mod of CanyonClan, I expect you to either fix your attitude and apologize as I have done to you, or take a break. Attitude like this will not be tolerated and I’m personally a little tired of it.
