For so long was has richocheted through our lands, and destroyed near everything we held close to us. The only thing most of us have held onto during the most difficult time is our faith in StarClan, but even that has begun to fade.
Our home around us in tatters, StarClan in silence for moons and cats dying left right and centre. It is quickly beginning to see as though our hopes are fading, and some threaten to turn to the very darkness which has been threatening us.
Until we receive one final message, infuriatingly vague and illegible.
But it may well have come too late.
1. Forum Rules; as should be obvious, all the rules which are enforced by the forums are to be followed whilst on this thread. The breaking of any of those rules will result in the deletion of your characters depending on seriousness.
2. Literacy; CascadeClan is to be a literate clan and this is non-negotiable, I am sorry but if you cant constantly maintain a standard of an absolute minimum of 4 lines per post, this isn't the Clan for you. Grammar mistakes are understandable every now and again, but don't allow it to be a permanent feature of your roleplaying so much that your posts become illegible.
3. Joining; on initial joining it is requested that you do so with a minimum of two characters, one of each gender to help keep those levels even. Furthermore, for every three characters you make please have at least one of them be an ally of the dark forest to keep numbers reasonable, this is meant to be a war, it will be over rather quickly if its one dark forest cat against eighteen StarClan members. Finally, for every two cats of other ranks that you make you may make one apprentice, so we don't end up with 9 apprentices to 6 warriors.
4. Roleplaying; realism must be incorporated to your roleplay in all possible respects, whilst I understand the subject material isn't entirely realistic, your cats still get ill, still lose battles and miss prey, hence I request that you include this whilst roleplaying. Furthermore, do not god mode or kill the characters of another member without the permission of the other member.
5. Characters; Mary-Sue's and Gary-Stu's, or any character I believe to be one will not be allowed in this clan. Everything has flaws as well as strengths, and hence I expect you to include them into the characters you create. Characters who are LGBT+ are entirely allowed. So I know that you have read the rules, please put Storm Born into the other part of your form.
6. Plagiarism; the theft of anything which does not belong to you will not be accepted, and the doing so will result in reporting, and depending what will be requested to be taken down. Its not amazing but I worked hard on everything seen on this thread, and will not tolerate the theft of anything.
7. Bloodlines; due to the fact that CascadeClan is intended to have been a long established Clan, I request that in order to give the Clan more depth to its characters, that where characters of yours share characteristics with another that you request to that member if they can be related in some manner. I ask that you do this with at least one of your characters, but the genetics need not be perfect. Furthermore, I ask you to apply the same principle where possible to mateships within the Clan. I do, however, request that you don't join as your own relations, i.e. your own mates/siblings as I find it pointless to be perfectly honest.
8. Drama; my absolute favourite part of roleplaying as most of my regular joiners likely know, I encourage you to do as much of it as you would like. All I ask is that it doesn't conflict directly with the main plot, and you include as many others as you can.

Swanfrost
Swanfrost is a thin-faced tom with narrow, pale green eyes, short fur, and long, thin ears. His fur is jet-black, with white paws and a white splotch on his face. Swanfrost is aloof and stern, often very strict with others, and uncomfortable and nervous around kits. He can be harsh when he’s worried or frustrated, and has trouble communicating his emotions at times. He dislikes arrogance and vanity, and can become argumentative with cats with such a personality. He desires the best for his clan, and is torn between his fury at the silence of Starclan, and the hope that things may still work out. As of now, he leans heavily towards the Dark Forest.

Viperback
Viperback is a tall and slim white tom with a long tail and short white fur, with a diamond-shaped black mark on his back and black ring of fur around his muzzle. His narrow eyes are yellow in color, and he has notched ears and scars around his muzzle. Viperback can come off as smug and taunting, with a sharp tongue and wit. He tends to argue with others often, and can be abrasive with others, but he is a loyal warrior and agile fighter who will defend his clan to his final breath. He has a soft spot for kits, and enjoys playing with them, demonstrating hunting and fighting techniques, and telling stories to them. Splashpaw is his only son, and thus, even as Splashpaw grows older, he is often overly protective of him. He wants to have faith in Starclan, but he finds the safety of his only son is more important to him, and thus vocally denounces Starclan, despite his personal beliefs.

Splashpaw is a pale grey, silver-mottled tom with a white splotch on his chest and pale blue eyes. He has short whiskers, long legs, and narrow eyes. Splashpaw can be abrasive and smug, often finding it difficult to connect with others on an emotional level. His father's overprotective nature has caused him to grow up rebellious, and he can have issues with authority quite often. He is quite vain, and takes pride in his physical appearance. Despite his flaws, he's quick-witted and agile, and due to lacking brute force uses his own speed and flexibility to come out on top in battles. He holds anger at Starclan, but still chooses to trust them.

His father is Viperback. Any romances are fine, though he doesn't like she-cats, and any crushes need time to develop.

Okay, saving the following prefixes for the time being: Bumble Wind [t] Auburn [t] Fire [t] [ saving my second she for the kit~ if that is okay. i'm also undecided as to who will end up being a dark forest ally. I might make a different character for that, but these are it for the time being. Also, would you like me to type up the kit now, or no? ] Also- do you think Windshear's name is too unique? I can change it to something else- maybe Windrunner, Windstrike, Windcreek, Windstreak or Windflight c': They'll be finished in the next hour or so, i just wanted to get my claim in for the time being.
Bumbleflower,
Bumbleflower is a small, long furred calico with predominantly black and white fur. She has soft blue eyes, and a soft pink nose. She has a soft coat and plume like tail. Her fur is soft and usually smells of herbs and flowers. Bumbleflower is a kind and gentle she-cat with a motherly instinct for any and all cats in the clan. She Is stubborn and hard headed. Her love for everyone and caring personality led her to be a medicine cat. She originally had trained alongside Windshear until she had fallen out of a tree and broke her back leg, leaving it twisted inward and giving her a limp. Despite this, she is still a fast worker. She has multiple pains in her lower back though. This problem caused her warrior training to be delayed, and eventually, she decided to become a medicine cat apprentice.

A large framed gray and white ticked tabby with soft green-yellow eyes. He has long fur and a relaxed frame. Windshear gained his name due to how quick he was on his paws. He has a slim frame, and silky soft fur. Windshear is kind, light-hearted, stubborn and caring. He is pretty fatherly, too. He tries his hardest to help everyone, but he tends to get angry and snappy easily, especially when he gets stressed out. Windshear can only see in the gray scale- having a slight color blindness. He finds that his scents and hearing are a lot better than his sight alone. This helps with fighting along side his clan. He's very protective of his family, too.

Firepaw,
A small built tom, with medium length ginger tabby fur, and leaf green-blue eyes, Firepaw is quite a handful. He has a soft pink nose, and white and black whiskers. His fur is always kind of messy, no matter how hard he tries to keep it straight and glossy. The young ginger tabby is missing his right ear due to past battles, causing him to have a hearing problem on the right side of his head. Firepaw has slight patches of white on his chest, his tailtip, and his paws. When he was younger, Firepaw almost drowned in a stream, leading to his dreading fear of bodies of water. He doesn't have a problem with rain as much, but he does when the ground gets slightly flooded, leading to small panic attacks. Firepaw is a nervous, and gentle soul, with an over thinking personality. He constantly doubts himself and his abilities, leading him to feel like a terrible warrior. Firepaw also tends to be very shy when it comes to large crowds, but he can manage to work his way through it. He sometimes has a stutter, but that's only in some cases when he can't seem to get himself to think straight. Despite all of that, this young tom cat is extremely loyal to his family, his clan, and his leader, always trying his hardest to protect and prove his worth.

Auburnheart,
Built with a large, slim frame, Auburnheart is a ruddy brown tom with dark green eyes. His pelt shades from brown to black in some areas such as his tailtip, his ears, and the top of his head. His pelt is long and glossy, neatly kept. Auburnheart is calm, collected and cool. He is pretty snappy and likes to keep to himself. He's never really believed in starclan, but always believed in something a bit more dark. He has a scar running over his cheek and his eyes. His ear is nicked. Auburnheart tends to lose friendships, so no one exactly talks to him. He prefers staying to himself, but he does obey the deputy and leader, even when he doesn't agree with anything they may say.

Ivystalk
Ivystalk is a pale gray she-cat with darker gray stripes that are most prominent on her face and legs, and has a slender but strong build. She has short whiskers and a short, sleek pelt, as well as green eyes. Ivystalk is a deceitfully pleasant cat. She fully-heartedly fakes compassion and kindness, when she is truly rather bitter and uncaring towards her clan. She has little interest in the betterment of her clan, despite how she can easily pretend to do so, from moons of being told how to as an apprentice. Her main goal in life is to surpass everyone, and strives for the position of leadership, be it of her clan or something a bit more corrupt. She wants power, and has no problem cutting down others to do so. She’s quite capable of caring for others, and in some cases she actually will, but the moment they stand between her and the ability to rise in rank or strength, they will be abandoned immediately. She has no faith in Starclan, believing it makes her weaker and holds her back from what she could really do.

Moonbranch
Moonbranch is a white tomcat with black patches, said patches being found on the top of his head, his hind legs, and along his tail. His pelt is thicker than others, making swimming a bit more of a challenge, but certainly not impossible by any means for him. He shares a similar build to his clanmates, assisting him in the waters even with the disadvantage his pelt provides him. Moonbranch is a quitet and reserved cat, though not in an unfriendly manner. He is moreso one to let others do the talking, which may make him come off as aloof or rude to others. He is a pacifist by nature, even from a young age not being rather unenthusiastic about becoming a warrior compared to his siblings. With age, he found the reasoning being he was rather aware of the fact no animal was an island. Someone outside of his foe was going to get hurt, someone who could likely be innocent. This aversion to violence led him to his life as a medicine cat. Although he is aware of the basics of fighting, he can rarely bring himself to do so unless in desperate need to save himself or others, as he has difficulty just watching fighting.

Morningwatcher,
Morningwatcher is a medium sized tom. He's a dark ginger-and-white tabby. He has green eyes. He has a white chest with small white paws. He has a long, fluffy tail. Morningwatcher is a wise and calm tom. He understands the balance between duty and fun. The tom is very supportive of his leader and family, often valuing a close connection with the members of his Clan if possible. Understanding the trauma his leader went through, he tries to maintain a friendship with her and show his devout loyalty to the she-cat. He tries to be proactive about things, often thinking ahead about possibilities. This can be part of his downfall, as he becomes obsessed with a solution to issues and during this can become distant. Despite this, he tries his best to make time for his family and mate. He cares deeply for them and is willing to do whatever he can to protect them as long as it is within honorable reasons.

Spruceshadow,
Spruceshadow is a long-limbed, tall tom cat with strong legs and swift, nimble paws. Like most cats of Cascadeclan, his fur is short and sleek, outlining his lithe build. His fur is pitch black with the exception of a small white dash on his chest. His eyes are a glittering, vivid green color. He has a vee shaped nick in his left ear. Spruceshadow is quiet and standoffish in nature. He doesn't exhibit the warmest of exteriors and can be a bit off putting at times due to his stoic and seemingly icy persona. In reality the tom is just severely shy, and doesn't know how to communicate well with his clanmates, and therefor prefers to be alone rather than in the company of others. He has his doubts about Starclan, but hasn't fully given up on them.

Tinyberry,
Tinyberry is a small she-cat, who often gets mistaken for being an apprentice due to her slight and short stature. Tinyberry's pelt is a warm golden brown color with a cream colored underbelly, paws, and muzzle tipped at the end with a distinctive bright pink nose. Her eyes are a pale blue color. Tinyberry is a warm-hearted she-cat with a gentle soul, who probably would have taken the path of a medicine cat if it weren't for her admiration for the warrior code. She can be a bit too trusting at times and always tries to see the best in others, which leaves her vulnerable to be manipulation. She hasn't given up on Starclan and believes that they will return soon.

Quailpaw
Quailpaw is tom of small stature. He isn't the most physically intimidating, nor impressive, of his clanmates but what he lacks in size and strength he makes up for in quick wit and nimbleness. Quailpaw's fur is short, and thick and is mottled in grays, browns, and whites. His ears are black as his muzzle and paws. His whiskers are unusually long and so feathery that they often look as if they are always twitching. His eyes are a lively yellow color. Quailpaw is an outgoing and adventurous tom, who has always had an intense curiosity and desire to explore the unknown. However, this curiosity can sometimes land him in uncomfortable, and sometimes, even dangerous situations. Quailpaw's belief in Starclan has faltered a bit since they've gone into silence and the apprentice can't help but wonder what else lies out there.

Cherryshine
Cherryshine is a pretty, slender she-cat with a pelt that is slightly longer than average and a plumy tail that appears as if it sweeps behind her as she walks. Cherryshine pelt is a deep russet color with vivid ginger undertones and dark brown dapples just above her eyes. Her eyes are a smoldering amber color with golden flecks. Cherryshine tries to come off as coy in personality, but in reality she is very confident in herself, particularly in her looks, and can be very flirtatious towards toms, especially if she sees any gain from them. She is very good at manipulating others into getting what she wants and has no problem taking advantage and using others if it benefits her in the long run. As for Starclan, she used to put her faith in them, but as of late she's become indifferent to them and doesn't believe in particularly anything but herself.

These are a wip
Daisyshadow,
While being on the smaller side shenis still quite lean and fit, she has fur the shade of black smoke. She is mainly black but in certain angles of light can you see her smokey white marbled markings, they are more prominent on her chest, flanks and underbelly. With wide ears she can hear quite well, she has uite elegant feature to go along with her pretty green eyes that turn blue towards the center. Daisyshadow is a kind and gentle soul with only good intentions, but things don't always go to plan. She is quite optimistic, wise and always keeps an open mind, she loves supporting other, but is usually forgotten in the process. She has a slight temper but isnt a mean person all together unless theres good reason to be. She has a daily battle of ups and downs of being bipolar, the pressures of being deputy doesnt help either. She is learning to live with this struggle but it makes like very hard, She is usually alone but doesnt mean she isnt a social bee, just sometimes prefers alone time, She thinks its better to be alone so no one can hurt her, but this will be her down fall.

A large fluffy pure white tom, with unusally large paws, lynx like ear tips and a lion's like maine. Cloudydream has crystal blue eyes, he has a large feather like tail with a large muscular body, his features are quite thick. He is a laid back and sweet tom, he is really care free. With living day by day, this tom really doesnt worry about anything as his mind set is really wise, but he loves to laugh and always tries to make everyone else laugh as well. This tom is full of surprise, he set the standard for himself very low so then his hard work and effort surprises everyone
