I'm good! I'm working a lot because I got promoted recently to lead teacher so there's a lot more take-home work)

Thank you! It's been a little stressful because while I was just starting in my new position, my class got a bunch of new kids and I was dealing with an awful co-teacher and it was really hard but I think I'm getting into the swing of things. It's mostly just more paperwork)

{School  lots of school. I'm doing all my basics online right now. I'm hoping to get scholarships so I can get my dog training certificate, and possibly do the stuff I need to become a vet tech) |

"Hmm.. I guess you can say that. You see, we were playing a game of tag and he wouldn't let me catch him! Mind you it's a one sided game but he didn't have to know. It looked nice too." He explained with a slight pout, moving off to the side and out of range of Windbracken. Flamestep sighed at the loss of his prey again before shaking his pelt, ridding himself of most of the excess water.

Windbracken watched Flamestep, blue eyes studying him curiously. She let out a small laugh. "I'm sure it was a very one sided game, but it did look very interesting." She leaned back a bit, ensuring she was out of range of the flying droplets. "Was your swim at least worth losing the game of tag?"

Flamestep brightened up at her words and grinned, moving to sit near the warrior with a bounce in his step. "Oh it was! The water was nice and cool, even if it was unexpected. I wouldn't mind going for a swim either.." He said, his words trailing off as he eyed the water. Maybe he should go for a swim. It was nice enough anyways.

Windbracken tilted her head a bit. She was probably the only warrior in the clan that didn’t particularly care to swim unless she had too. She dipped her paw in the water, and flicked it at Flamestep. “Then go for a swim. It does feel nice today.”

Flamestep chuckled lightly as he was flicked with water and his ear twitched at her words. "Maybe I will. Why not swim with me? It'll be fun!" He exclaimed, turning a hopeful grin onto the other warrior. Swimming alone was never fun and who knows? She just might like it!

Windbracken hesitated at his offer. “I don’t know about that...” She glanced at the water warily. “I might. Maybe.” She looked back at Flamestep. “You won’t let me drown, right?”

The ginger tom looked as if he was offended by her question and lept to his paws. "Dear StarClan no! I wouldn't let you drown, no matter what! You have my word on that Windbracken." He said, his words growing softer near the end of his exclamation.

Windbracken sighed. “Okay. I’ll go for a swim then.” She stood, and carefully padded into the shallow water at the lake’s edge. She picked a paw up, and shook the water off it. “Are you coming, slowpoke?” She questioned, looking back at Flamestep.

Flamestep grinned once more at the she cat before padding after her, his tail twitching happily behind him. "Of course! I'm right behind you!" He chirpped, wading into the cool waters.

{Sorry, had to run and feed horses real quick, and my dog decided she wanted to play in the stock tank lol}
Windbracken cautiously waded farther into the pool. The water did feel nice, she had to admit that, but she still wasn’t the biggest fan of water. She flicked her tail, and stopped. She was trying really hard to make herself actually go deeper into the bubbling lake. She wasn’t the best swimmer in the clan.

He was perfectly fine for her to go at her own pace, content with feeling the water shifting slightly in his fur with any movement."Now that feels nice, right Windbracken?" He asked her, churning the water lightly around his paws with his tail. |

Windbracken flicked an ear at Flamestep. “I guess about as good as water can feel.” She meowed softly, watching the slight ripples he created with his tail as the water lapped against her pelt. She looked over at Flamestep, and suddenly shoved him playfully. “Ha! Can’t catch me.” She bounded through the water, being sure to stay more in the shallows.

Flamestep lost his balance with a yelp and landed on his side in the water. "Windbracken! No fair! I wasn't ready!" he whined, getting back on his paws with a splutter. "You better run because I'm right behind you!" he called out, bounding after the she cat with a silly grin on his face.

Windbracken bounced around the edge of the lake, doing her best to stay ahead of the tom day. As she made her escape, she lost her footing and began to slip. She helped as she scrambled to regain it, and struggled to keep her head above the surface. She remembered just how much she hated water in this moment.
