Frosthearts ears twitched at the mention if her warrior duties and she gave a small smile "I'm excited to go back to them, though in about a moon I may start missing the nursery. If I'm honest I'm worried about Icepaw, shes so weak sometimes I worry they'll work her too hard. I shouldn't think like that, I know, but I cant help it!" She gave a dramatic sigh before she glanced around. Redflight nodded as she listened to Frostheart. Although the red she-cat ndidnt have kits of her own, or really plan on having any, she knew how Frostheart had to feel about her kits growing up and becoming more independent, especially for one such as Icepaw. “I’m sure they’ll all be just fine. And didn’t you say you were pleased with the mentors they received?” Redflight asked gently, contrasting against Frostheart’s dramatic sigh. |

“He has to do something now! It’s absolutely ridiculous how Shadeclaw has gotten away with so much!” Hailclaw angerky exclaimed. His eyes met Owlswoop’s and once he saw fear, his temper deflated once more. He sighed as he pressed harder against his mate, offering all the comfort he could. “I’ll always be here for you. Don’t forget it - I would never leave you,” Hailclaw whispered, his voice almost choked with emotion. Owlswoop whimpered and pressed against Hailclaw, burying her face in his fur. She was finally letting go of the tight grip she had on her emotions, letting go of the desire to break down. She finally broke. Tears fell from her eyes and she cried into Hailclaw's fur. "Please don't leave me," she whispered Hailclaw couldn’t almost hear his heart brake at the raw emotions in Owlswoop’s voice. The tom took in a deep breath, closed his eyes, and gently placed his head on top of his mate’s. He allowed a few moments to pass by before speaking, “Owlswoop, I am your mate. We are going to have kits. I love you - how could I possibly leave you?” Hailclaw moved his head back to look into Owlswoop’s eyes, “How about I walk you back to the barn?” |

Frostheart turned her gaze to Shadeclaw and Hazepaw as they left camp and she nodded "Shadeclaw is my daughter's mentor. It's scary but he seemed excited to have a mentor..maybe hes changed." She looked at her friend with wide eyes.

Redflight recoiled slightly at the name Shadeclaw. As she listened to Frostheart, she found herself wanting to disagree. There’s no way that cat could change so drastically, but she kept it to herself. It would help no one to say her thought aloud. Her yellow eyes had darkened as she thought about Shadeclaw and his ominous presence, but she quickly shook herself off and repositioned herself. “I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m sure having an apprentice will give him a sense of responsibility, it could very well change his attitude,” Redflight meowed, playing off her lie well with confidence in her voice.

Snakeheart was still amazed that Foxstar trusted him with an apprentice. I'm going to be a bad influence. He thought humorously to himself. Oh well, what's the worse he could do?

Owlswoop nodded slowly, taking deep breaths to calm herself. "I want to come back home. Tell me I'll be able to soon?" she asked as she sat up, sniffling. She didn't know what to do now.

Frostheart gave a short nod before she gently pressed her head to her friends shoulder, giving a small sigh. She remembered when they were simply two she-cats I investigating. Now things were hard. She was glad she had Redflight and Adderbite. Without them she didnt think she could have made it through being a mother.
Stonepaw stared at Snakeheart for a long time before he finally approached his mentor. He bowed his head. Like his father had taught him. "Hello." He greeted calmly.

"Hello there." Snakeheart mewed looking at his new apprentice. So polite! "Well, seems I get to train you. You are my first apprentice so be patient with me." He said with a twitch of his whiskers. "However, I'm confident that I'll make you the best warrior you can be!"

Mudkit only gave a nod, “Yeah. Just five.” He breathed before following his brother. He kept looking back to see if anyone was watching, he knew his other brothers and sisters were trouble makers, he didn’t want to add more stress to his parents.
Hitchpaw gave a small narrowed of his eyes, “Is there something wrong with that?”
He stepped back and swayed his tail, “They took me in and treated me better then anyone ever did in Lightningclan.”

Snapperjaw huffed in irritation. "Of course I know what all the herbs do." He growled. "It's my job. What is not my job." He reached down and picked her up then tossed her back out of the den. "Is kitsitting a bored, nosy little thing." “I’m not bored! I’m curious you grumpy crow!” Juniperkit mewed before she raced back into the den to annoy the elder once more. As if he hadn’t scolded her, the kit continued to poke around, “So what’s your job then? Besides being a cranky old man?” "I still dont kitsit." Snapperjaw rolled his eyes and placed a paw gently on the kit to prevent her from running around his den. "I'm the medicine cat. I take care of cats who aren't feeling well. But cranky old elder is also part of my job description." |

Softwing groomed her fur carefully. She found it was more difficult as she got bigger. And the kits weren't fans of her twisting around attempting to reach the farther away places. With a groan, she gave up and just accepted her fate. She'd have to wait for either Shadeclaw or someone else to get the last few spots. reposting Softwing's starter.) |

Firepaw gave a loud purr before he bounded after the tom. "My mom told me you're one of the best hunters in the clan! If I work hard do you think I can be a really good hunter?" He asked, unable to keep himself still with all the excitement. Shadeclaw nodded as he walked, the apprentice would struggle to keep up with him for now but in no time she'd be the fastest apprentice in the clan. He glanced down at her before he nodded "do you have anything you enjoy doing? Running, play fighting, anything that stands out?" Skyrunner felt his ears warm up from the compliment and smiled down at him. "Anyone can become great if they put in the effort," he said as they entered into the forest. "As we're walking, can you scent what's around us?" Hazepaw hurried after him and made sure to stay behind so she could just follow. "Uh, I really like helping my siblings and just being there?" She wasn't sure what she was good at. |

"Well, it's against the Warrior Code to go to their soft ways, but I think you're an exception though." Some of the weight he had carried with him had been lifted when he found Hitchpaw. "I cannot force you back to the clan or beg you when you've made your choice. I will tell the clan where you are though because many of them have been worried sick." The orange tom gazed at the fence before turning his body to head back into the forest. Before he moved anymore, he turned his head and stared sadly at Hitchpaw. "I'm sorry for letting you down and failing as your leader." Foxstar started to head off with his tail dragging against the icy earth. |

Stonepaw gave a nod, glad he had an enthusiastic mentor instead of one that expected him to be something he wasnt. He glanced to the side before asking the question he was wondering "what are we doing today?"
Darkkit stepped out five times and his eyes widened with excitement as he looked around "we did it, Mudkit! Now we've been out of camp! Isn't it a wonderful feeling?" He asked, turning to look at his brother.
Firepaw tried to scent his surroundings but there were so many new smells. He concentrated as he tried to pinpoint a familiar one before he looked at Skyrunner. "I smell dad."
Shadeclaw glanced down at the apprentice and he nodded as he walked calmly. "Being my apprentice is a lot of hard work. I promise you'll do fine as long as you try your best." He said calmly, mentally preparing a schedule.

Snapperjaw let out a growl of frustration. He plucked the little she-kit off the tree. "I don't have time for this." His voice was muffled and he glanced around camp for some warrior to dump the furball onto.

Hitchpaw had prepared himself for an argument but was surprised to see the leader become so...defeated?
“Foxstar...why did you...make me your apprentice?” He meowed quietly, it was something that always made him wonder. Why didn’t you pick Emberpaw?”
He felt odd now, the leader just dismissed him for abandoning his clan. He was an outsider now. Fine.
But he wanted that question answered at least.

Mudkit gave a shrug, “Yeah...” He looked up at the massive trees, to him, they were touching the clouds. “Woah...” He muttered in awe of the forest, seeing this made him excited for his apprenticeship.
“Ok. We took a couple steps. We have to go now!” He then mewed

Good question Snakeheart thought about what they could do. "Let's show you the territory. I doubt we will see everything today but we will try." Snakeheart rises to his paws and stretches his limbs. "We might hunt a little as well."
