(Oh yeah!! I think it’d still be super interesting to have Owl be pregnant, but it’s up to you! And I think it’s be great to have Owl and Hail run into each other! I have a starter a couple pages back for Hail, if you’d like to start there :’))

Hailclaw absentmindedly trotted back to camp with a rather skinny mouse hanging from his jaws. His thoughts were completely occupied by Featherwisp. He still couldn’t believe he had seen her again with his own eyes, but he definitely didn’t feel as he thought he would. He no longer felt the gnawing guilt and grief in his heart, but felt rather calm. Well, he wasn’t entirely calm. There was the huge problem that the tom still had feelings for Featherwisp, which of course, just further complicates many aspects of his life. He hadn’t seen Owlswoop in the longest time, and worry gnawed more and more at his belly each day. It just seemed as if the tom couldn’t have any she-cats in his life without them disappearing. Hailclaw continued his trek to the camp, not exactly watching where he was going, and bam! He ran straight into a tree. The mouse dropped from Hailclaw’s jaws as he staggered back, blinking rapidly. A small laugh rose in his throat.

Owlswoop decided to risk leaving the safety of the barn. She had barely left since discovering her pregnancy, not wanting to risk the little lives growing inside her. She missed her clan terribly and couldn't bring herself to imagine what Hailclaw must be feeling. Her heart broke at the thought of him and she sighed, kicking a small pinecone. Pinekit would be a cute name, she thought to herself. She paused a moment as a thought suddenly struck her; would she have to give her kits rogue names? Owlswoop was startled out of her thoughts by a laugh nearby. Her heart leaped as she recognized the sound of the laughter; Hailclaw! She padded closer and peaked out the bushes to see him.

Hailclaw continued to laugh for a few moments, completely oblivious to the familiar scent that suddenly surrounded him. He wasn’t exactly completely sure why he was laughing so much, or at all, after just bumping into a tree, but it felt good. Over the last few days, he had experienced a wide range of emotions and this one little carefree moment made his issues melt away just for a few seconds. The tom sighed as he looked down to the mouse he had dropped, studying it before craning his neck to pick it up. It was then, with his jaws almost touching his catch, when the scent of Owlswoop filled his nose. Completely forgetting about the mouse, Hailclaw whirled around to finally spot his mate peaking out through a bush. “Owlswoop!” The tom enthusiastically exclaimed, a large smile parting his lips. Featherwisp was pushed to the side of his mind for the moment, he learned to take things on one at a time.

Owlswoop stifled a purr, listing to Hailclaw laugh. She felt her chest tighten with sorrow as she watched the tom. She missed him so much it physically hurt. She almost wanted to just return to the clan and face Shadeclaw but she knew that was dangerous. Her eyes widened as her gaze met Hailclaw's and he called for her. She took a deep breath, before rushing out, tearing some of her fur on the brush, and racing to embrace him. "Hailclaw!" She completly forgot about the kits in that moment, forgetting how big her belly had gotten but it was too late to pull back now as she pressed against his side.

Palepaw stared at Plumpaw from across the warriors den. She didnt interact with other apprentices often, but Moonclaw told her it would be okay to just say a hello. Her ears twitched and she looked over the apprentice. Uncle Shadeclaw would say shes weak. "Hello." She said in a soft voice.
Shadeclaw gave a short nod before he turned his eyes to the warriors den. "My brother and I trained day and night, we only stopped to sleep. It was exhausting but it was the only way to become strong enough. We were far above our littermates."
