Fuzzythroat gave his sister a gentle nudge and he chuckled "don't go all dreamy on me, while I support your decision I don't know how much I can handle of you rambling about how amazing Shadeclaw is." he said with a soft tone as he gently licked between her ears.
Ravenfeather shrugged and then he shook his head "you don't have to be aggressive Ratnose. You can be strong without being cruel, Crowtalon has never shown much anger in his life but he still manages to be strong. It isn't about physical strength it's more about how you show yourself. Duskpaw is going to doubt you if you doubt yourself, and you have no reason to. You're brave, even though you were terrified you faced Crowface for the ones you love. You need to learn to love your apprentice and care for him like you would a child, try by getting a connection, maybe even speaking with Shadeclaw."

Softwing giggled. "Okay, okay." In reality, she hadn't had the chance to moon over Shadeclaw with any cat, sibling or not. She-cat or tom. It didn't seem like many thought Shadeclaw terribly dreamy. I guess that means I don't have to worry about competition.. "Then what shall we talk about?" She peered up at her brother curiously.

Fuzzythroat turned his gaze to Echolight for a moment but quickly tore it away and his ears twitched as his voice lowered, his eyes growing serious for once. "Leopardshard has been even more distant than usual, do you think perhaps something is going on?" he asked, his eyes moving to the warriors den as if he was expecting his father to come out and scold them for gossiping.

Softwing let out a giggle at her brother's actions. He was such a goof. She'd have to play matchmaker with him. He was probably the only one she'd be able to. Leopardshard wasn't comfortable with romantic feelings and Rosewhisper would probably tell her to butt out. Speaking of their brother...Fuzzythroat brougt him up. "Hm...I have noticed him going out alone more often." She tilted her head to one side. "Maybe he's just feeling the same pressure to be better?"

“Speaking to Shadeclaw?!” Ratnose whispered loudly before casting a glance to the tom. “I know you just told me to be strong but really? Ever since we’re kits, he scared me!”
But he knew he needed some form of direction, he couldn’t treat Duskpaw like his own kits. Both were sweet and feisty young cats while Duskpaw seemed to “act” like he was too good for anything half the time.

Fuzzythroat gave a small shrug before he rolled onto his back and pawed at his sisters ears. She was upside down in his view and it caused him to laugh. "Maybe he's got himself a rogue she-cat...imagine dad's face."
Ravenfeather gave a short nod and he glanced at the other tom. "The worst he's going to do is yell at you. He might even respect you for asking how to train Duskpaw."

Softwing managed to pull her ears out of her brother's grasp and pawed him back. "Ha! I couldn't imagine Leopardshard falling for anyone. or anyone for him for that matter." Her ears twitched. Okay, maybe that was a bit hypocritical since most cats thought Shadeclaw incapable of finding a mate, but still.

Cloverstripes laid down next to one of the many ponds and stared at her reflection. She ignored the cold wind blowing against her fur. She was pondering her choices in life and wondering if what happened to her kits were her fault. Was this all punishment for taking a rogue as a mate? Granted other cats had rogues for mates and did just fine.
Breezepaw sighed as he looked down at his paws. With his family still grieving for Drizzlepaw, the black tom found it diffuclt to be cheerful.
Amberpaw was practicing her hunting crouch and her battle moves. She wanted them to be perfect!

Ravenfeather nodded smartly and he gave a small smile to the tom "absolutely. It didn't take much, I knew she was the one it just took me a long time to make sure that I could be a good mate to her. I would kill a cat for her though and while that terrifies me that I would kill for her, it also makes me happy. I would do anything for her and the kits."
Fuzzythroat laughed and shook his head "I don't know if there's much room to talk. The cats around here don't like Shadeclaw much either but here we are, nicest cat in the clan with he big strong one." He purred and nodded "maybe he's just gotta wait for a big softie like you. Get it...Soft...softwing." He said, nudging her.

depends on your scale for evil  he hates Starclan if that means anything XD) Softwing ducked her head shyly. "I don't know if I'm the nicest..." Arguably, she was the weakest, though. But now things were different. She wouldn't have to rely on her family to protect her. She could do it herself. At her brother's joke, she just rolled her eyes. "Uh-huh. I get it." She tickled his nose with her tail. "But I'm named soft because of my fur, not my personality. That just happened by chance." She stuck her tongue out at him. |

Ratnose chuckled and looked over at his daughters and mate, he didn’t have the courage to say he’d kill for them. He was too soft for that. But he’d die for them, that was a fact.
